Carole Prudent and her staff offer you a warm welcome to this family-run hotel built in 1880. Still retaining many of its original features, the house dates back to the period when Monet lived in Giverny. Although only 200 metres from Claude Monet’s house La Musardière, the only hotel in Giverny, is a haven of peace and calm set in its shady grounds in the centre of the village.

Easy to find and very close to Monet’s garden. Good sized car park which is locked overnight.
We had room 14 which was of a fair size and offered a comfortable bed; bathroom with shower over bath and a separate WC.

My husband and I stayed in the hotel for two nights in late September and had a wonderful experience. The hotel couldn't be better located for visiting Monet's house and garden! It is just one short block down the street. We ate at the hotel...More
Breakfast was excellent, all the usual French stuff plus omelettes & bacon in a hot server. Nice bathroom, newly retailed with water lily motif tiles, very apapropriate. Shower over bath & easy to control water temperature.

We were so lucky to have found Musardiere! The location is special- only feet from the Monet Home and Gardens. The restaurant is very good and represents the area well. The room was well decorated and the staff warm and welcoming.
This family-run 2* auberge is as close to Monet's house as you can get. Good food and service, not as expensive as you might expect. Dined al fresco in the evening overlooking the village. Plenty of car parking space

You know I can't remember. But the mgt is very good in responding to e-mails. So you might want to contact the hotel. But my husband and I managed for 1 night and he is 6'4". It is a very quaint hotel. The food is good. It's biggest advantage is its location. It has a large parking lot right off the main road. So it is easy to get in and out. If you book a place farther down the street, you run into major traffic and parking issues.
