Went to watch the rugby, basic but clean and plenty of kitchen facilities

Twenty minutes from the tram, a ticket is 1.70 (make sure you validate) we got a 3 Day Ticket for €13 which gave access to bus, tram and underground. We got a tram to Arenes then changed to the underground, if you get lucky with the trams it's 20 minutes. The public transport system is brilliant so don't be scared of booking a bit out the centre. Nice bakery down the road, if you head two stops towards the airport there's plenty of amenities available.

If possible ask for a hippodrome facing room.

Pool was nicely kept, never more than an handful of people in there. The reception is only 8am - 9pm so make sure you make arrangements out of them times.

Spent three nights here in early June when picking up my daughter from her year at university in Toulouse. Although it's quite a long walk from the centre of Toulouse, we chose it due to secure parking and a lovely outdoor pool!
We did walk into town but the very frequent tram is just across the road and the metro about a 10 minute walk ago.
The rooms are very comfortable and have well equipped kitchens. Air conditioning works very well. If we'd had a balcony, it would have been perfect! There is a laundry in the basement which cost about 8-9 euros for wash and dryer. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful.
We didn't book breakfast as it seemed expensive. There's a local bakery a 5 minute walk away and a Leclerc supermarket a little further.
Toulouse is a great city to visit, as I've said in previous reviews so won't repeat here!

We have spent three days in Toulouse in this residence.
It was a positive experience for us, very convenient and good in terms of value for money.
The studio was clean and spacious, we had basic equipment for the kitchen .
There is also a small swimming pool to enjoy.
The location is very good, it’s about 900 meters from the subway which will take you in the city center in ten minutes, otherwise a 30 minutes enjoyable walk in a residential area will get you to the center.
It’s also close to supermarkets like Aldi, Lidl and Casino.

This hotel has very friendly and helpful staff.

The room was excellent value for money, very clean with great facilities, hob, microwave, sink, fridge, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery. The air con was very welcome on a very hot day.

I didn't bother with breakfast as it was €15 so I cant comment on the quality.

I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others.

Stayed for 2 nights in a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the kitchen area. It was very clean and had everything we needed - kettle, hairdryer, microwave. Roughly a 30 minute walk from the bridge over to main Toulouse. There was parking.

We are family of four with two children and spent four days in Residhome Toulouse Occitania Hotel during early April.
When you come out of Toulouse Airport go outside to find the Tissio ticket office to buy group ticket for Euro 5.50.
This will buy 12, one hour journey time. For four of us, we used 4 out of 12 journey times to reach the hotel using Tram 2.
Zenith is the stop to get off and then walk across the tram line to reach the hotel which is less than 100m away.
Carrefour supermarket is found closer to tram stop Arenes. Once got off from the tram, walk across the tram line and take
the stairs to down then continue through the tunnel which goes under the SNCF railway station. Then at the end of the tunnel,
take right and continue walking. Then at the end of the path turn left and walk through the carpark to reach the shops. Few meters
along the line of shops, you will find the supermarket. You could buy chilled, frozen or any food because the rooms in Residhome
Toulouse Occitania have Microwave, hob, dish washer, fridge and all the cutlery and crockery. We enjoyed the stay in this hotel
because it had two rooms and kitchenette. The only bad thing was the noise from the street when we left open the two windows
because the rooms were very warm even in early April.
We took the SNCF train to visit Lourdes for a day and spent around 7 hours there. Train journey time is around 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Also visited Toulouse city centre, taking either the tram to Palais de justice or first tram to Arenes and then the Metro to Capitol.
Metro is very crowded and you need to watch out your wallet as I came across a dodgy woman and a girl.
We visited Airbus and Space Museum as well. You need a whole day to visit the space museum and it costs around euro 80 and
the Airbus tour costs Euro 85 for two 1.5 hours tours, one to the outside of the factory and the other to see the 380 assembly line.
Overall, the hotel was nice for the price and staff were friendly, Toulouse is a good place to visit for few days. I have seen
the small free to use electric buses but never used as they looked like the buses for older people. Those buses were parked
on the other side of Pont Neuf bridge(opposite to the town side). Tried to visit EDF museum but it was closed on Mondays.
Jardin des Plantes was beautiful. The city is small so everything can be reached within few minutes by train, tram or you could
easily walk.

As a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids aged 13 / 8) we stayed at the Occitania for 10 nights during the last two weeks of the school holidays. We were on the lookout for a cheap break this year, booked late and careful date juggling and searching around the web allowed us to do the whole thing - EJ flights from Gatwick, hotel and car hire - for just over a grand all in, which seemed pretty good value for the time of year.

This is good accommodation and in a great location to explore the surrounding area. The rooms were clean and modern, reasonably well appointed and spacious, the aircon was welcome as it was very hot outside for most of the holiday, beds comfortable, kitchenette fine if a little small (a small oven would have been handy along with a bit more cutlery), and at the time we stayed it was surprisingly quiet given the French kids were still on hols for our first week. The staff were friendly and helpful, although you should bear in mind this is an apart-hotel and not a fully fledged hotel so don’t go expecting that type of service.

The smallish pool is never terribly busy (although they could do with a few more sun loungers), and if you have kids who are keen on the pool like ours you might try and book a ground floor room at the rear of the hotel overlooking it as they all have balconies which the other rooms don’t.

The T2 tram goes directly from the airport to the stop across the road (Zenith) for €1.60pp so it’s a good money saving option if you don’t want or need a car for the duration and you’re staying in and around Toulouse during your trip (you could always hire a car daily which is what we might do next time). You can usually get parked in the surface car park (free) or if that gets full there’s always space on the main road outside somewhere (the underground car park costs 8 euros per night so we avoided that).

There are Boris-style bikes in racks directly outside the hotel which are easy to hire, all done from the terminals – €150 deposit per bike, €1.20 per day to access the service and the first 90 mins free (30 mins if you hire further into town). Although our kids had a go you really need to be a teen and above to use the cycle paths safely around town as the roads can get quite busy.

There is some limited aircraft take off / landing noise and the odd diesel train going past from the nearby mainline train station if you’re by the pool but it didn’t bother us. Nighttimes are quiet and comfortable if you keep the thick double-glazed windows closed and the aircon on.

One thing to be aware of is that room internet access appears to be limited to a single device at a time – if someone else logs on it will kick off anyone else with the same login. If you / family are more than occasional internet users then it might be worth getting a French sim for data locally as its useful out and about anyway.

There is a good self-service laundrette in the basement for a few euros which is very handy esp with kids or if you like to travel light.

You can use the gym equipment at the Residhome Tolosa (about 10 mins on tram or a 20 mins walk away) for free which is nice touch.

It was also nice to see motion-activated lighting used in large parts of the accommodation to save power, although you need to be a little careful if you use the stairs because of the illumination delay. We would like to have seen some recycling for the usuals such as glass, plastics bottles etc rather than just general bins.

The location is 15 mins drive from the airport and the tram / metro are closeby to get into and around town, as is the mainline train station. If you have a car the Occitania is well placed for you to go further afield to some of the great lake beaches in the area (the one near Carcassonne was our fave), or Narbonne is the closest seaside town (about 90 mins drive or get the train, but book the tickets well in advance like in the UK for sensible prices). The big swimming centre at Montauban (about 30 mins) was also a great day out. If you head towards these areas bear in mind the tolls on the main roads, we got all the way to Carcassonne for about 8 Euros.

There are several small supermakets nearby (nearest walkable is a Carrefour Market on the way into town by McD’s, and an Aldi in the opposite direction), and there’s a big Auchan in the shopping complex about 15 mins drive away.

Overall a nice good value apart-hotel and we would certainly consider going back again to continue exploring both Toulouse and the surrounding area.

We stayed for a week in August and chose the hotel largely for its proximity to the Zenith metro stop, on the line to Toulouse airport, and for the size of the room. Our early arrival, just after noon, was not a problem for the front desk staff and we were able to get to our room early. Incidentally, all of the hotel reception staff speak excellent English, if your French is not up to scratch.

We had a good sized suite with a small kitchen, very big bathroom, reasonable sitting area and large bedroom. The windows could be opened fully but when closed they sealed out all noise from outside (including aircraft noise). The air conditioning was virtually silent and worked well with the Toulouse summer warmth. The hotel also has a reasonable size pool with loungers; proximity to the approach to Toulouse airport makes this a good place to sit and watch a variety of planes land, including a lot from Airbus.

Access to Toulouse is easy by either tram or Metro. The hotel is no more than a 10 minute walk to the Arenes metro stop, which is also next to a suburban train line with service to Auch.

One major downside to the location of this hotel is the lack of restaurants in the surrounding area. There's a small Casino shop close by, and larger supermarkets a longer walk away. However, if you want to eat out then options are limited. Some restaurants only open on certain evenings, most are a good 15 minute walk from the hotel and consist largely of pizzerias. So, if you plan to eat close to the hotel then this is something to bear in mind. We found that we did most of our eating in central Toulouse or at one of the restaurants a couple of metro stops in towards central Toulouse.

Would we stay here again? Probably. The hotel was clean, comfortable and very easy to find by tram from the airport. However, we would make sure to eat our evening meal elsewhere before returning to the hotel.

This hotel (apartment) was exactly as described; clean, convenient, roomy and comfortable. We really enjoyed having the fridge, stove top, microwave and the few dishes and cutlery - very convenient.

Beware of check-in times: we arrived on a Sunday and though our confirmed check-in time was 3pm there was a sign on the door saying Sundays they are closed until 5pm. We were also locked out of the parking lot until we could check-in and there was nowhere else to park. There was a phone number to call but having just landed from overseas we didn't have a phone plan yet. Not impressed.

Historic center: though it is a hike to walk into the center of town (about 40 mins), the tram and subway are very efficient and user friendly (and we felt safe coming back to our room later in the evenings).

There are only 2 subway lines so it is very easy. We bought a 10 trip pass card for 13.50€, I used the card on the tram, then my husband used it right after me; when we transfered to the metro we used the card again but the machine automatically recognized that we were both transferring. So the tram then subway ride into town only used 2/10 trips for the both of us.

To get into town:
* The Zenith Tram stop is right outside the hotel - the staff can point it out, but its literally only steps away.
* Take the tram to the Arenes stop (1 stop away)
* Transfer to the metro at Arenes and get off at Esquirol or Capitol to be in the historic center (3 or 4 stops respectively).

We selected this hotel following the good comments from other former residents. We were extremely happy with our choice. The tram from the airport stops just a few metres from the hotel. With the same tram we were, in 20 minutes, right in the old town centre. All the staff were exceptional and extremely helpful. They assisted us to check in our room well before the official check-in time. They showed us the eating places around and what-to-visit in Toulouse. The room was clean with all the amenities whether it is for a short or a long stay. The kitchenette was very handy even though we ate most of the time outside, some 15 to 20 minutes leisure walk. The room was very quiet inspite of the fact that the tram tracks is just in front. Everything was perfect. I only advised the hotel management that they should, in their website, informed that the tram fare from the airport is a NORMAL tram ticket which, in october 2019, was €1,70 and NOT the AIRPORTSHUTTLE ticket which is € 8,00 ! They did mention this fact in the lift of the hotel. By then it is too late ! The damage is already done !! Do keep up the good work !
