The Hotel Atmosphere You're here. Where? In South Pigalle (Sopi for those in the know) at the heart of a relaxed, trendy area. You're someone who likes to discover a lovely, well-decorated place that has experienced the buzz of many lively decades. Because just so you know, in the 50s and 60s our address was the haunt for some of the city's most artistic inhabitants. Right in this building, Paris' first American restaurant, opened by the dreamer Leroy Haynes, attracted a joyful jumble of musicians from Ray Charles to Marianne Faithfull ... Today why not improvise a friendly meeting or get-together here with a cheerful laziness and nonchalance? Plunge into the voluptuous harmony of the spa, get spontaneous advice from an attentive staff that has the time to listen to you. Do you hear our music? The soul of Matins de Paris clearly sets the tempo for your stay here as you find your own reference points in the most inspired of places ... and neighborhoods.

Detailed Reviews
Friendly and welcoming staff. Communal areas of the hotel were great and very well presented and the location was perfect. The addition of the spa was a real bonus. The only negative was the room service we ordered, it was very disappointing and over priced €6 for a fruit salad that consisted of a few sloppy slices of orange and grapefruit! And the pasta was simply gross. But apart from that we loved the hotel and would definitely visit again ( we just wouldn’t order room service)

My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights and it was the most amazing hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The decor is beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We had 45 minutes of free spa time included with the room which was one of the highlights of our trip.
The location was perfect for exploring and sightseeing, not too close to the centre but still in the hustle and bustle with loads of great shops, cafes and restaurants close by. Overall a fantastic stay, thank you so much!

I would love to give it a poor review, so as to keep the secret to myself, but I can't lie. This hotel is wonderful. The staff is inviting, helpful and very responsive. When there was a problem with the door in our room, it was remedied immediately and with much apology. The balcony was a perfect size for us. The bathroom was large, and the shower (at 2m tall) I could fit under the rain shower nozzle. The location is near many restaurants and local fromagerie, boulangerie and patisserie you could eat your way through at a different place over a 10 day stay. Will definitely book a return. Highly recommend

For crying out loud I have already wrote a review earlier how many time you want me to write it? The hotel was absolutely horrible was not close to anything that we wanted to see tourist hop on hop off bus and it was all supposed to be with in walking distance, we had to take a cab over to the train station to get over to the Eiffel Tower and Catch hop on hop off buses. Now for the cleaning ladies they were way out of control and unacceptable, two times the head cleaning ladies use the master key did not knock or nothing else just open the door & ask if we wanted tea the 1st. & 2nd. time ask if we want water. We never order anything to drink. The second day we put the do not disturb sign on the door and we get back and we have a cleaning lady coming out of our room, we asked her what she was doing and she thought you were cleaning. OK The bed was not made & the shower was the same dirty towels on the floor. I will never never again stay active hotel.

Dear Madam, We truly thank you for taking your precious time to share your opinion regarding your last stay in our House last month. We thank you moreover for choosing Les Matins de Paris & Spa**** for your stay in Paris. Yet, we are all very astonished to read your words regarding our position in the heart of Paris. Surely, we presumed that you would have checked our location before reserving your room. Also, it is true that we are not closed to the Eiffel Tower (as google maps may confirmed) but our position is however kind of amazing. We are 20 minutes’ walk from Montmartre and sacré Coeur, 5 minutes from Pigalle, 15 minutes from Opera and the main shopping malls, and so many other museums. We have some maps at the reception and our team is always devoted to help. We also do not understand your comments regarding our cleaning ladies who are doing an amazing job everyday and who just care about our guests’ comfort. We a re deeply sorry if you felt insulted by their behaviour but we do want to assure you that they only wanted to make you feel at home by asking you if you wanted new tea or fresh water. Surely, we shared your review with our Housekeeper manager, and we are improving our services. We do feel sorry that our House did not met your expectations. We hope that despite this misunderstanding with our position and this misunderstanding with our housekeepers, you had a wonderful time in our wellness area and in Paris! We wish you all the best and many safe travels. Yours sincerely, Claire

On booking we based our choice from instagram and location. It is not what it is on instagram, although the location is excellent
For a four star hotel it is sadly lacking in many areas. Too many casual staff in scruffy clothes helping themselves to breakfast, coffee and drinks in full view of guests, making guests wait whilst having their breakfast.
It is not a spa, it is a 20ft pool which was cold, had no towels, you have to bring your own room towels, so we didn’t use it again. The sofas were badly stained in the pool and reception, just needs a good clean.
Carpets in rooms and corridors filthy dirty.
We booked a room with terrace and bath, its a step with a rail not a balcony and we booked an executive room, gods knows what a standard room was. We arrived and were in another room where there was drilling and hammering and the hotel said they only found it the day we arrived that next door were renovating (yeah right) We asked to be moved and they did accommodate us. Otherwise we would have left.
Breakfast was ok, but daily we had to ask for things on the buffet to be replenished. Coffee/tea was only accessible from a vending machine and the hot chocolate didn’t work 3 days out of 4
We asked the air con to be fixed on the day we arrived as it did not work, nothing was done, we asked on day 3 again, nothing was done, but had to leave our patio windows open as it was mild. For a little side street, the traffic and noise was awful, kept awake every night by the bins being emptied, or the laundry truck right outside the window at 3.30. New Years eve we expected a party atmosphere outside, but next door had a party in their flat and the music finished at 8am the next morning. We slept badly the whole 4 days
Check out unfriendly and blunt, overall cleanliness and decor was poor
Lastly we were concerned about fire risks and health and safety, housekeeping trollies blocking corridor and fire extinguisher’s covered by the hoovers - for two days - what if there was a real fire
Overall a very disappointing stay and for the room and lack of facilities it was very expensive
Sorry, its a hostel not a hotel
The best thing ? Location Rue de martyrs has some amazing boulangeries, cheese shops, truffle restaurants and cafes and walking distance to the Sacrè Couer.
Sorry we wont be returning

I really liked my stay at this hotel. It was cute and quaint. It’s smaller than the hotels I usually stay at but I think that’s the secret. I noticed that boutique hotels have a more personal touch and they’re more willing to help you. Bigger chain hotels sometimes lose the customer service experience where here it’s very personalized and much warmer. I had a last-minute delay in my flight and the hotel handled my pick up to the airport without any problems. They rescheduled me and I was so grateful. My bed was comfortable and the room was extremely clean even the bathroom. The only little issue that I feel might need improving is the closet space. It’s a little too small for my liking. But other than that honestly I would definitely come back here. The area is perfect it’s within minutes from the metro. And if there are days that you don’t wanna travel into the city center there are plenty of restaurants and patisseries and shopping in this area. Perfect even for some last-minute souvenirs. On my next trip to Paris this hotel will definitely be back on my list.

My family and I stayed only one night here after our return from Nice, but it was a fantastic hotel in a perfect location and we would return again without hesitation. The street the hotel is on is quiet but intersects with a really amazing street (Rue des Martyrs) that is just one of those perfect Paris streets lined with great shops, restaurants, fromageries, patisseries, and boulangeries. Other major right bank sites were within walking distance. We stayed in a double room (2 rooms basically connected to each other with a private doorway), which was a perfect option as we were traveling with our twin 10 year old daughters. We also booked time in the pool, which our daughters loved! The staff was fantastic. Overall a perfect stay and would come back here for both the perfect location and great staff and amenities.

well i kindof chose the hotel based on its titel. 2SPAHOTEL"
If your booking a "spa-hotel" it kindof indictaes that the spa part is included...just like when you go to a restaurant you expect to get food?
The spa was booked out during my spa. And if i wanted to make use of the really small spa then i had to pay extra.
The hotel rooms are ok and well equipped but omg they are higly outdated.
They should get rid of those hidiouse curtains that look they were made in the 90'ies
the speakers in the hallways were playing all night and when i asked the security to turn if of during night. He didnt know how and the music was still on the following night.

Dear Tim, We are sorry that the name you found on the internet mislead you. The hotel's name is "Les Matins de Paris" and only a few websites (including Tripadvisor) mention the spa. The spa access used to be included in the price of the room, but it was frequent that people couldn't access it due to a very high demand and ended up paying for a service they could not use. A lot of people also did not want to use the spa, and it was not fair to make them pay for a service they would not use. We are sorry that the person working the night did not know how to stop the music. it was his first night and he has since learned. We hope that you still enjoyed your stay with us, and that you had a pleasant stay in Paris. See you at Les Matins de Paris

very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We stayed 4 nights in December 2022. The staff were very accommodating although we didn't book a spa room we were allowed to use the spa for 45 mins one evening and the spa was open till 1am every night. the pool was hot and the sauna was very relaxing - wish we booked a spa room to enjoy it more. the room was clean - a bit small but suitable for our needs. location was very good with many shops, cafe's and supermarkets in the area as well as close to three metro stations. I brought a cake from a local bakery down the street and the hotel was very accommodating to provide me with a lighter for the candle and balloons to decorate the room. overall great trip - we will definitely be returning.

Despite being situated in a nice location of Paris, the services offered by the hotel were poor, room not cleaned regularly until complaint is made, breakfast is limited and food items are not replenished on a regular basis as we have to wait for eggs croissant juice etc, reception staff not flexible to accommodate customer's request. staff not fluent in french despite being a hotel in the middle of Paris staff needs more training in service and hospitality. lack of French touch in the hotel despite being in Paris France

Dear Sir, Thank you for sharing your impressions regarding your previous stay. Having read your feedback, I'm sorry to read that your stay did not live up to your expectations. I have therefore asked my team to explain the factors that might explain your feeling, so that we can take steps to ensure that this does not happen again. It was indeed reported to me that you were not satisfied with the cleaning of your room on your first night. After checking, it would appear that there was a leak in the shower head after the chambermaid had left. We therefore took particular care with the cleaning in the days that followed. Regarding the breakfast we are sorry to read that the variety of products on offer did not live up to your expectations. Indeed, it may also happen that in case of high influx, the buffet can be consumed more quickly and our teams does its best to restock as soon as possible. We are sorry that this affected your experience with us. When you checked out, you asked the receptionniste about the possibility of a late check-out at 5pm. Unfortunately, she had to refuse your request. We were fully booked at the time of your departure and our cleaning team left the hotel at 3pm, which would have made it impossible to clean your room after your departure, especially as the guest who was supposed to occupy your room was due to arrive at 3pm. They did, however, offer to keep your belongings in luggage storage. We are happy to accommodate the requests of our valued guests when it is possible for us to do so, but this was clearly not the case here, as it could have put us in an uncomfortable situation with another guest arriving later. I have no doubt that you will be able to understand this situation, given that you are used to travelling, and I'm sorry that my colleagues' explanations were not enough to explain this decision. However, she did offer you a 1pm departure instead of 12pm. Finally, I have to say that your global note and your comment about the flexibility and professionalism of the staff came as a bit of a surprise to me and my team.... They told me that they had chatted with you regularly during your stay, and that you had a pleasant chat about their countries of origin and your many travels (Ukraine and Moldavia). On several occasions, you also pointed out that you were having a good time in our hotel, which you found charming. This is why your feedback runs counter to my team's overall impression of your experience with us. I would be very grateful if wish to call me to discuss this further and remain at your disposal for any other remarks you may have. Best regards, Juliette

The hotel did used our credit card as a deposit and we had a car arranged from the airport but the metro is really handy. The hotel is really good for getting around. It’s a lovely hotel and great staff who will help you out.
There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. I don't recall an iron but this is defintely the kind of hotel that can arrange for an iron if not already provided. There are bathrobes and slippers in the room in case you want to use the pool or steam room.
They dont have on-site parking.
No there's no charge it's all part of the price. Small pool but really nice and clean and great steam room too. Enjoy
