I had a 10 day visit to Paris. I decided instead of doing the Airbnb I would just stay in a hotel since most of my meals would be spent out, catching up with French friends and American ex-pats. This hotel was a great choice. I hadn’t stayed in the ninth before. I know Paris quite well. And it was a very accessible place to four buses and line 7 on the metro. I’d come back late And always felt safe in the neighborhood. The room was incredibly large for a French hotel, clean, well appointed. I didn’t understand the artwork but I rarely do understand the French choice for hotel artwork. I didn’t do the breakfast. Instead I got a box of orange juice which I kept in the fridge and would buy a croissant each evening. The hotel staff at the front desk were all extremely polite and helpful. I speak French. But they spoke English very well. I’d stay here in the future.

We stayed at this hotel December of 2019. When first arriving we were greeted with lovely staff and they were friendly and helpful through out our whole stay, they even helped us during the strikes that were going on. The room was modern, clean and spacious for a city hotel. The bathroom was fully equipped, exceptionally clean and had a really good shower. Looking out of the window we saw across the roof tops of Paris which was a bonus. Our rooms were turned down every day and the towels were replaced when we wanted them to be which was lovely. The quality was great as there was no noise interruption from the street and we could not hear any other guests. The hotel was conveniently situated as it was a close walking distance to the Euro star, and close to many great restaurants and attractions. Overall, it was an exceptional stay and it was incredible value for the service, quality of stay and location

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Helussi. The room had everything we needed for a 3-day stay in Paris, was very clean, and especially the bathroom looked brand new. Everything worked perfectly: good shower, very good hairdryer, Nespresso machine, kettle, minibar... We had a classic double room at the front side on the 4th floor, and had no problem with street noise, it is a pretty quiet street. The hotel is located at a 2 minute walk from the metro station Poissoniere on Line 7, and at a 10 minute walk from Gare du Noord and at a 20 minute walk to the Opera, so really ideal locatiojn for us,also to go anywhere in Paris via the metro. We did not have breakfast in the hotel, the breakfast room is not a charming space. All staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. All in all, definitely recommend this hotel for this price, and thanks for a nice stay!

A quiet hotel in an out of the way street near Gare du Nord. Clean and comfortable but with few amenities. We did not have breakfast as there are lovely bakeries in the area offering good value coffee and croissants etc. Breakfast looked nice but breakfast room was uninspiring. A solid three star.

Lovely staff, first of all.
Hotel is located a few steps from a metro stop, there are restaurants and stores around for convenience. Rooms aren’t large but wasn’t there to spend time inside so wasn’t a factor.
Parking was available through the hotel at a nearby parking for 25 euros a day. Breakfast is simple but worth it. Pastries, fruits, coffee, cold meats and a few hot cooked items.
Overall a great stay, I would not hesitate to rebook with them.
Thank you

This small and cosy hotel in a quiet street not far away from the Montmatre district exceeded our expectations. From the very first moment we felt welcome and well treated. We arrived from CDG airport after a 11 hours flight, the room was not ready (which we expected because we arrived before check-in hour, so no complaint on that), and the first thing the very friendly guy at the reception offered was to have a refreshig shower in the sauna area. Then we were given a nicely designed glass bottle to fill with either water or sparkling water for free each time we needed, and we were explained that we could refill at many points allover Paris. In the room itself (very cosy with a little balcony, after an hour they also put a plant on it), there is a coffee machine and a heater to prepare tea, A wide selection of tea is available for free, too. The amenities in the bath room are of very good quality, you have a hair dryer at your disposal, and at request an ironing board, too. Furthermore slippers and bathing gown are available, all amenities that you do not expect in a 3-star hotel. We only had breakfast the last day to be well prepared for the onward journey, and regretted to not have had breakfast the previous 2 days, because it was delicious and good variety. We recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a very good option to stay at a reasonable price. We shall definetely return!

The Hotel Helussi was the perfect place for our 5 night stay in Paris. 10 minute walk from the train station Gare du Nord, 3 minutes from the Metro station Poissonniere and close to the area of Montmartre with the Sacre-Coeur basilica. There are a multitude of place to eat within a 5 to 10 minute walk. The hotel contacted me directly before the trip with a pre-stay questionnaire to ensure the room was just what was required and to see if there was anything they could provide to ensure our trip went well. The week we were in Paris the temperatures were in the 30s, but the room was always very comfortable with air-con that ran very quietly and efficiently. The continental breakfast each morning was perfect. The best thing about the hotel were the staff, always very helpful with the star of our stay being Sylvan. The mornings he was on reception, he would help plan our day with hidden gems on the route we had already decided on to the main tourist locations. The hotel is small and compact with only three rooms on each floor, but we will happily return if revisiting Paris.

I chose this hotel due to all the 5* reviews. Although I could not give it a 5, I can happily rate it with 4*. The hotel is small and compact. We were able to walk to and from the RER train that takes you from the Gare du Nord to CDG airport and runs very often. There is a Metro Station also within walking distance. So, it is very convenient.

Our room was large and comfortable, except for the dim lighting. There was a nice armchair, but I never sat it in to read, as there was not one lamp in the room and the lighting simply wasn’t sufficient. The bathroom was great, with a large shower that did NOT run all over the floor, the way so many do in France. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean.

Breakfast was all right, but just that. The breakfast room is tiny and has no windows, so we never lingered over breakfast as we do in other hotels.

All the staff we interacted with were very nice.

Finally, our room was named “Satin”. I found that odd when I saw it painted outside the door. What I found even more odd was the decor…a painting of three pink corsets over our bed!

The hotel is pretty nice and is situated near montmartre, so we found it was pretty central!! The next Metrostation is only 2 minutes away, and it was so comfortable to go to all the places to visit. Only few stations away from the nord- and eaststation, Opera, Louvre or Champs-Elisée. As usual in paris the rooms are pretty small, but for a short citytrip, where you only are in the room for sleeping it is perfectly fine. For longer trips with a lot of baggage it could be too small. The personal is very friendly and attentive and the reception was constantly occupied. I would class the hotelroom as pretty new and the bath looks very nice and was very clean!! Very nice scent of the soap and shampoo from thierry mugler! The bed was confortable, but he pillows weren‘t, but this is a personal preference. I would rate this hotel with 4.5 stars, so I really can recommend it!!

Do you have a debit card, doesn't it work the same way? I would call the hotel directly if you don't have a credit card/debit card. Perhaps you could send a money order or cashier's check, sorry, just don't know how that works. Breakfast is an extra charge, well worth it in my opinion. Right down the steps and plenty of seating with lots of variety in food. Breads, cheeses, fruits, juices. coffee. More likely to be less expensive that anywhere else

No free parking - no parking at all. But the street parking is ok if you don´t arrive at 8 pm. Afternoon or morning are better times to find a spot near the hotel. Good luck

This is not the easiest way to come to our hotel. We are situated 5 minutes walk from Gare du Nord so better take the RER B (train) until Gare du Nord and walk to the hotel. If you want to take a taxi, it will cost around 45 euro. We would also organise a shuttle from the airport to the hotel or a private car. Contact directly the hotel, they will give you all possibilities and prices.
