I am very picky about hotels and can say that this is one of the best city break hotels we have stayed in. The bed was comfy, room was clean and the check in and out was really quick. We had room 503 on the 5th floor, the room had a balcony and the staff left a balloon and some macarons for our anniversary which was a lobely touch. You have to use your room key to enter the hotel which made it feel very safe.
The location is fantastic - not far from Rue Mouffetard which is worth a visit.

An excellent, new, small boutique hotel. We were initially concerned that the location was a little too far out, but we actually appreciated being away from the main tourist areas and enjoyed walking through various parts of Paris from the hotel. There are also a few different metro stops near by, should you prefer this to walking.
We had a Superior room for our 3 night stay. This was quite small, but perfectly functional and very tastefully decorated. The shower was great! It was lovely to have coffee making facilities in the room and fresh coffee pods and biscuits re-stocked each day. (I would note that the hanging facilities for clothes were limited to a small rail, which had a drawer at underneath so you could not hang full length items at full length.)
We thought there was a bar at this hotel, however this isn’t quite the case. The small area, described by staff as the ‘sitting room’, is multi-functional. It is used for breakfast, general seating in the day and can be used for a drink at night. The area does not have a bar, but staff from the 24hr reception can serve beer, wine etc here, should you want a quiet drink.
The service we received from the staff during our stay was excellent.

We had an amazing experience at the Seven Hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay and always trying to makes us feel like home and providing a custom service: one night it started storming so we decided to stay at the hotel and have dinner there. Even though they offer some options, they also told us that we could order anything we like and they would put a nice table for us at the lobby so we could eat there. Also when we entered the room the first night, there was a handmade note wishing us a good stay and some macaroons… to me those little details make the difference. The day we were leaving, they offered us two small bottles of water for our trip back home. You can see that the staff is paying attention to every detail to make you enjoy from the beginning until the end. The hotel is also super styilsh, all new and cosy, in the heart of Quartier Latin and super close to the Pantheon and the Mouffetard street, where there are lots of bars and restaurants.

This is a four star hotel potentially but it does seem overrated. The rooms are very small like a box. The bathroom does not have its own door that shuts but rather is integrated into the room with a tiny toilet room, sink outside and a glass facade shower. No kettle in room, only coffee machine. The duvet is so thick that it’s too hot to sleep in-spite if the AC in summer. The staff is not particularly hospitable. The room is much better for one than for two given it’s layout and size. It is all very modern and well functioning in terms of the bathroom and room though so that’s a positive. But nothing great overall.

Dear Radsque, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay at the Seven Hotel through this Tripadvisor review. I am delighted to note that you liked the layout and practicality of your room. Regarding the size of the room, our areas are mentioned on our website (as well as the photos highlighting the layout of the bathroom) and if you had sent us your disappointment we would have been delighted to offer you another category of more spacious room. In your room there was a QR Code to discover the services of our establishment, and our team, available 24 hours a day, would have been delighted to offer you kettle and tea as well as extra sheets to replace the duvet. We are very sorry that you did not come to see us at any time, we would have really been happy to assist you in your needs. Hoping that you will give us a new chance to satisfy you, take care. Best regards, Morgane - Front House Manager

We had a "deluxe glam' room" for one night and felt disappointed by the high price we paid for the room. We did not find the design of the room very inspiring, but most importantly, taking the shower was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've had. You had to constantly pull on the hand held device from the bottom with no place above to put the shower. I wonder if the designer ever tested his concept himself to see how painful it is? You end up splashing water all over the bathroom which is connected to the rest of the room. The room category we had was "budget looking", not at all the 4-star room that we expected to have. The lobby and breakfast are cozy and modern-looking, but overall I would not think that this is in anyway a 4 -star hotel.

Dear Picolina, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feelings about your recent experience at the Seven Hôtel in Paris. We fully understand that the current shower system of our Deluxes is not the most comfortable, and we sincerely regret it. We are delighted to announce that we are currently working on the improvement project for our showers in these rooms, and that we have already installed and tested the first prototype of the new shower system before extending it to all our Deluxe Glam' rooms. We are doing everything we can to resolve this inconvenience as soon as possible. Our Deluxe Glam' rooms provide you with top-of-the-range king size bedding from a French family business, an Inissia coffee machine from Nespresso, personalized welcome products in the colors of the Seven, as well as Codage beauty products , a French house of natural and eco-responsible cosmetics. We also offer 7 themed suites to provide unique experiences within our home We hope that we will have the chance to welcome you again at the Seven Hotel, in order to transform your disappointment into success ! We wish you a happy holiday season, Best regards, The Seven Team

I agree with another review that “reality was even better”! I couldn’t have captured our stay…….well, better!
We were hesitant at first mainly because of the location. As luck would have it another hotel we had looked at suddenly booked up and as luck would have it (for us as it turned out), we booked a room here. We chose one of the “theme” rooms as we wanted more space. First to address the “location” concern. I could not have been more wrong. The location, away from all the tourists, is an amazing neighborhood with the best restaurants in the city. The hotel is few minutes from a well known street where you will find any type of food you could wish- Greek? Japanese? French? Cretan? Italian? Syrian? Check all the above. And more.. ….
Main attractions in Paris are only a handful of stops on the metro. But the service of course is what made our trip. Questions about A/C, solved in .2 seconds! Coffee maker possibly not working? New one in room when you return…. Nothing was a problem. Oh and the space in the suite? Extra large, actually huge. Sofa with 65-inch (?) TV + coffee table, mini bar….. oh and a popcorn machine to reflect movie/art theme! Will definitely return- highly recommend!

My husband and I don’t often have getaways without the children and we chose this luxury hotel for one night in Paris. Great location, staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel before our room was ready and also leave them after we left the room so we could wander the city without having some heavy luggage to carry around.
The jacuzzi was especially nice with our own little outside courtyard but we were seen twice by people looking out their windows in the above guest rooms. There is a small covered area right above the hot tub but it doesn’t cover quite enough for complete privacy.
Another thing that could be improved is the comfort of the giant bed. It was a great size but for someone with back pain it was too firm to be comfortable.
One more thing that should be fixed is the tile around the tv stand was broken and could be sharp and dangerous. And we couldn’t figure out how to hide the tv back in the stand which would have been nice to have a better view from the bed.
Lastly, it would have been nice to have some softer toilet paper as could be expected in a luxurious room.
But overall I would go back to this hotel and maybe try a different room since they all seem to be very nice.

Dear Lea, Thank you for taking the time to share your feelings following your recent stay at the Seven Hôtel****. We thank you for your compliments regarding the quality of service and hospitality of our team, we are also delighted that the decor of your Suite VII Péché charmed you. We note your remarks concerning the question of privacy on the private patio as well as the firmness of the bed in this suite and will see what we can put in place to improve the comfort of our guests. We are sincerely sorry for the broken glass on the television unit, unfortunately this is a replacement which takes time as this unit was custom made for the hotel and we are therefore dependent on the manufacturing times and Delivery. We inform you however that the delivery of the element replacing it is planned for soon. For the question of lowering the television, a button is located in the cabinet, hidden behind a facade to push, but we would have been delighted to come and do it for you. We hope to welcome you again very soon in one of our 6 remaining suites to discover, or in one of our rooms. See you soon, Morgane - Front House Manager

The hotel is newly renovated to an excellent standard with beautiful interior design. It was also very clean. It is located within walking distance of shops, restaurants and metro stations. The staff are friendly and helped us with recommendations for restaurants etc and the breakfast was very nice. Sadly, the room was uncomfortably hot and after telling several staff members, we told our air con was on the coldest setting (we were told this was 17 degrees!). With the windows open for fresh air, the noise of the main road underneath meant we got hardly sleep at all for the duration of our 3 night stay. It’s a shame to air con didn’t go cooler, if it had done, we would definitely had recommend this hotel.

Dear Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feelings following your recent experience at the Seven Hotel. We note that you were satisfied with the cleanliness of our spaces and thank you for it. It is a real source of pride for our Housekeeping team that their daily work is recognized and appreciated. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the concept of our room by the open bathroom or the size of the room. all the details of our rooms are mentioned on our website and if you had let us know about your disappointment, we would have been delighted to offer you another category of room that is more spacious or offers more privacy with regard to the bathroom. Indeed, our team is available 24 hours a day to meet all your needs. Concerning the price tag, we always recommend to all our customers to book on the official websites of the hoteliers rather than on partner sites, as the offers are always more advantageous with them. We reiterate our apologies once again for your disappointment and hope that you will give us another chance to satisfy you in the future. We wish you happy holidays, Best regards, The Seven Team

We had such a lovely 3 night break at Seven hotel. It was everything I wanted and more...although the room was small it was just perfect for us as a couple. I really loved the bathroom in the room concept it was very modern and funky. The whole colour scheme made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. The bed and shower were great! And we had an extra treat of a gorgeous balcony with beautiful parisian rooftop views which made each morning even more special with some coffee and multiple pastries. We would definitely come back....
