Detailed Reviews
Stayed here for our first trip to Paris. From start to finish, the staff were great with helping us with anything we needed. The rooms are clean and service is on top form. The rooms are quite small (I think next time we may upgrade to the larger room) but if you’re going to be out all day anyway, it shouldn’t really matter! Breakfast was lovely and always fresh, and the location to the metro systems (place d’italie) makes getting around Paris easy and affordable. It only took us an hour to get to Disney (about the same time as a taxi) so we were very happy with the location. Overall I don’t have any negatives for this hotel experience.

The hotel is in a good location in terms of transports and supermarkets/restaurants, in a quiet area. Has a fantastic windows shade system, perfect for those enjoying a dark room to sleep. Very friendly staff and accomodation of our needs. Breakfast is simple and may be busy at times due to the small room, but is a honest deal for the price we paid (booked 5 months prior) and the type of hotel. Would definitely stay again

Jack's Hotel lived up to all the reviews. The staff is friendly, the room is clean and comfy. The breakfast is the standard continental breakfast. The location even though not smack in the city has a very good metro connection (3 lines) that gets you pretty eveywhere that you want to go. We arrived on Saturday morning and there is a nice morning market where we get lots of berries and roast chicken. Being Asian and we love takeaways ;) I really appreciate the staff letting us to eat our food in the breakfast room. Reception helped us book a taxi to the airport too. We had superior room which the size is pretty good with bathtub. I highly recommend Jack's Hotel to everyone coming to Paris. Book early to get good price and rooms.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Place d'Italie Metro station in a quiet street. The rooms are very clean and are well maintained, and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. The fact that the writer Jean Genet lived in this hotel for some time, may appeal to aficionados.
The main disadvantage is that the rooms are at the rather small side of the scale, and the bathrooms are even tinier. This should not be a problem as this is often the case in Paris, but when small rooms go together with high prices, I start having a problem.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and understanding, I appreciate how they contacted me even before our stay to make sure if we need any help in advance. I liked the place where the hotel is, because the street was quite calm. Also our bed was comfy and room was clean.
Breakfast menu was quite poor, there were no fruits or vegetables, no warm food (except boiled eggs). Room and bathroom are very small, it was hard to get around other person. Also the walls are very thin, I heard every noise that our neighbours made.
I would recommend the hotel to those, who come to Paris for an active sightseeing and doesn't plan to spend much time in the hotel. But the price should be smaller, because hotel doesn't offer much amenities.

We feel like we got very lucky with our choice of hotel in Paris! A quiet street, very clean room, nice variety of foods at the breakfast bar and an extremely helpful Valeska at the front desk. The room was a bit small but we prefer clean, quiet, great price and comfortable over having a larger room. We would return again.

My reservation at the hotel was for two days. I stayed the first night but left the other morning. I had an allergic reaction because of the soap, and when I requested for a new one they brought me the exact same and informed me that they couldn't provide me with another. I decided to leave and asked for a refund but they wouldn't give my money back, and as I was packed up and leaving and asked for a refund, they told me they could provide me with a new soap. They did not care for my allergy at first. Overall, small and unsatisfying rooms, nothing to drink, terrible smell in the corridors and a dreadful experience. I would rate it 1/10 and the 1 is just for the kindness of the staff. Would never stay at this facility again.

Response from MAXIME BONNET, Directeur général at Jack's Hotel
Responded 20 Jun 2023
Hello Stay323909103042, We are sorry to read your negative comment on your stay at Jack's Hotel. Indeed, we graciously provide our customers with a shower gel / shampoo certified organic and ecocert. Our customers are free to use it or not. About you, we are surprised because this shower gel is the only reason why you wanted to leave the hotel early. In general, in case of allergy or hypodermic problem, it makes sense to bring your own shower gel with you. For this reason, the reception team even offered to go and buy you another shower gel directly for your comfort. Regarding your additional comments, the overall satisfaction of our customers demonstrates the quality of the hotel and its team involved and conscientious all year round to serve our customers. All the best,

Jack's Hotel is situated in a convenient location near public transportation in Paris, yet it's in a quiet area. Although small and aged, the hotel is well-maintained with everything in working order. The Wi-Fi connection is reliable, and guests can choose a lot of TV channels. Nearby, there are excellent restaurants, and the hotel staff are both friendly and efficient. I would recommend it.

Fantastic base for sightseeing in Paris and Disneyland too. Both take less than 45 minutes to get to on the metro. In a great location and neighbourhood, McDonald’s and shopping centre/supermarkets only a 3 minute walk away. Staff friendly, 24 hour security, room small but cosy. Lovely airy windows and hot shower. Only negatives are the breakfast could have had more choice, particularly cooked food. Also, bed was quite small although it didn’t bother us too much. Finally, our safe broke and it took the hotel 3 days to fix it by which point we were leaving anyway!! Would definitely stay again though if I was visiting Paris.

The location is excellent -- in a pedestrian zone of a quiet neighborhood, and yet only 300m from a major transportation node. Our group of 10 Swiss agreed that the mattresses are excellent. The breakfast is generous continental style. The rooms are small, but fully equipped with all the desired amenities, including excellent showers. We did hear people in the next room holding a normal conversation, but for this price you can't have everything. All 10 of us thought this hotel is an excellent find.
