42 Avenue Gabriel, Your Parisian place of life Mid-way between Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore and Avenue Montaigne, a stone's throw from the Champs-Elysees, where the heart of Paris beats. Nestled in a peaceful location, slightly set back from the world's most beautiful avenue, La Reserve Paris - Hotel and Spa overlooks the Grand Palais, the Eiffel Tower, the Pantheon and the Concorde obelisk. Just in front, a majestic curtain of trees preserves the intimacy of this place, like an echo of the Elysee gardens nearby. Michel Reybier's highly distinctive urban mansion has all the elegance of a 19th century private apartment, where ultra-personalized services can be enjoyed in complete simplicity and discretion. All around are immense spaces bathed in light, barely muted by the rich fabrics of the hangings. Scattered here and there are beautiful marble fireplaces, and everywhere the joy of vast indoor spaces, typical of Haussmann-style apartments. The noble and generous materials exude a forgotten spirit of generosity. More suites than rooms, a library reserved for guests and their friends, a smoking lounge, a 16-meter indoor pool (a rarity in Paris), wine cellars in the suites, an inner courtyard with lush greenery echoing the landscaped entrance. At La Reserve Paris - Hotel and Spa, you experience the quintessence of Parisian chic in the Belle Epoque.

Our stay at La Reserve was perfect in every way, and the hotel itself is an example of timeless sophistication & luxury. We stayed in one of the Jr Suites Prestige. The room beautifully decorated, attention to detail impressive and Tablet manages heat, tv, and contact with hotel if needed. The bathroom gorgeous, stocked with their own brand of body lotions and soaps, as well as their fabulous terry robes. Huge shower & tub too. Lots of closet space, as well as a small bar room stocked with almost anything you would want to drink. And my favorite touch was at turn down, where they place a cushioned mat by the bed with their cushy slippers. Overall fantastic stay, and felt very much home. Will be going back!

I have never stayed in a city hotel room with such attention to detail in every design aspect. Fantastic, thorough and well thought out, in fact you really need to spend time to appreciate and see all the detailed thoughts put into the rooms here that make it feel almost better than home.
La Reserve is not so much a hotel, more so an intimate, private home to escape to in the heart of Paris. You will hardly see another guest or housekeeping or staff in the hallways. While service is not proactive, everyone be it your butler, concierge, room service, reception, technicians...etc will be at your door in seconds with a touch of a button on the iPad or a phone call away.
Food and beverage is not to be missed here as well. Wonderful wine list. I only had small bites as I had larger meals outside the hotel but small bites at the bar and library were great. The American Breakfast is absolutely fantastic, one of the freshest and best egg's benedicts I have had, still thinking about it now.
The Spa and gym are well equipped. I enjoyed the temperate indoor pool, large enough for decent laps, the hammam is soothing and relaxing and at a very nice temperature.
Staff here are all exceptionally professional, courteous, friendly and welcoming. My room was ready shortly after arriving. Reception gave me a nice property tour. I appreciate the fact that having forgotten to sign for my evening snacks and drink at the library, it still correctly showed up on my bill, they know who you are and respect your privacy.

I will say there were nonetheless a few missed marks, but not big enough to detract from the fact that this place truly is a unique and special luxury property in Paris and the world. First off, I was not given a fully detailed room tour, not sure if this is due to COVID protocols. My iPad was not functioning on arrival, I called reception and they said they would send a technician, upon returning to my room later in the day, iPad was still not fixed, it was not until I rang my butler Morghan, a gem that she is, that she was able to address and assist. I was not informed what service./ functions the iPad could do, I found out later it is your command center for everything during your stay including controlling TVs. The Bathtub TV did not seem to work or function. Unclear what the normal protocol is, but I was not informed of or introduced to my butler, something I feel would be a nice touch to at least put a name to a face, but thankfully upon a ask, the staff more than happily introduced me to my butler. Finally, once the room was ready, my roll away bag was there however they did not send up my backpack and duffel until I called. Again, very minor and these things did not at all deter my over all impressions of this place but given the price point and true elevated experience you get here, would have been nice to have a perfect experience.

I had the pleasure of staying at La Reserve Paris with my husband and 19-month old baby last weekend. It was our first trip with our baby in a hotel and it was incredible. First, the walk-in closet was the perfect size for the crib and had a sliding door and light so it became the nap room. Second, the team washed all of our bottles and plates at lightening speed and returned them with a smile. Third, every single person in the hotel knew our daughter's name and said hello (in English). Beyond that, the hotel felt warm and friendly at all times. It was as if we were staying in a friend's home, rather than a hotel. It is a perfect location to be close enough to the sites but also two blocks from a Farmacy, wine store and neighborhood restaurants. A+ job and we can't wait to go back. The bar has been set very high for our future trips.

My children and I were lucky enough to spend three wonderful nights here. We debated staying here or Four Seasons but we were so pleased with our choice, this hotel exceeded our expectations on so many levels.

Firstly, It is in a wonderful location sandwiched between the bottom of the Champs Elysee and Rue Faubourg Staint Honere. It is a small hotel with an intimate, members club vibe. Service is of the highest level, we were always greeted by name and a smile. The concierge was one of the best I have come across. We were made to feel like members of a private home, where our needs were of the upmost importance to everyone we encountered. The decor is delightful.

We had a junior suite with a balcony and spectacular view over the Champs Elysee and Place De La Concorde. The room had the wow factor that you hope for when booking a luxury hotel. The bathroom was exquisite with every toiletry you could possibly need. There were separate toiletries especially for children, although my nine year old son really enjoyed wearing the aftershave! We were all enthralled by the Japanese heated toilet set apart from the rest of the bathroom in the entrance hall. So many hotels do not have enough power points or power points are in the wrong place (i.e. no plug by a mirror for the hairdryer, or by the bed to charge your phone at night) but here everything was in just the right place. They had clearly had someone test drive the room for perfection. Perfection to the point that by the bed was every type of phone charger imaginable and the hairdryer was of hairdresser quality. We also enjoyed using the yoga mat and weights that were neatly hidden in the wardrobe.

Breakfast is taken in the hotel’s serene courtyard. Everything about breakfast exudes class and elegance. Each dish was presented with style and substance. If breakfasts could earn a Michelin star, La Reserve would have one. Whilst formal, I felt very relaxed with the children. Sadly I didn't get a chance to try out the two Michelin star restaurant but I hope to return soon without children to be able to enjoy what looked like a very special experience.

One of the things we really loved was that the mini bar was included but it isn't just the standard mini bar, it includes Valrhona chocolates, jars of sweet or salted nuts and gummy bears. Everything was replaced twice daily. Housekeeping was to perfection and my children really enjoyed coming home to the little sweet treats left every afternoon, my children loved the biscuits embossed with their names. But an extra special thank you has to be for the generous cuddly toys that the children found on their beds when returning one afternoon, it resulted in squeals of joy.

I struggle to find any fault with this hotel. We are now looking into other hotels in the group to stay at. We can’t wait to return. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Very chic hotel. Went in to the "library" only for a drink - very pricey but great setting and ambiance. We noticed the bar area, also very chic and interesting.

We would never pay to stay here but getting a drink as recommended to us was worth the trek and experience (but note, a martini was $35USD.)

Dear Guest, many thanks for your comment ! Delighted to read you had a great time enjoying the chic and confidential spirit of the Library of Duc de Morny. It is indeed a fabulous place for an apéritif. Should your agenda take you back to our neighborhood, I would recomend you to try the Bar where you can see our team preparing cocktails. Should the weather be warm and sunny our terraces and patio are a must! Warm regards, Romain Meiran

Truly a home away from home, my husband and I stayed in a one bedroom apartment at La Reserve for 2 weeks. I was specifically looking for an apartment with hotel-lilke conveniences, and found La Reserve through google. I am so glad we were able to stay here. I cannot even begin to say how perfect these two weeks were. Check-in was seamless, we were straight up to the apartment in no time. Privacy is paramount here, you never bump into any other guests, which I thought was a good thing. The apartment itself was huge, especially by Paris standards. We had plenty of room to move around, work, rest, relax and enjoy ourselves. The bed is very comfortable, we slept well. There is a bit of outdoor noise but I do not think this can be helped, being situated right at the Trocadero. For those who enjoy views of the Eiffel Tower, its right there next to you. Gorgeous. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals, and the refrigerator is full of complementary drinks, should you get thirsty. There is also a dedicated laundry room that is quite convenient. I also loved that the housekeeping team came in three times per day: first to set up the included breakfast, then to do a general clean, and finally to do turn down service in the evening. In this way the apartment stayed as nice as it was when we arrived. The concierge at the main door made our stay even better. There were a few nights we did not feel like going out, so the concierge was able to quickly and efficiently arrange delicious meals to be delivered to us. The location is unbeatable, the bathroom well appointed and large, and had both tub and shower. On valentines day, a bed of roses petals was set up for us as a lovely surprise, also including champagne and macaroons from Carette. A week later I had a birthday, and was happily surprised by a lovely chocolate cake and more champagne - Thank you so very much. I truly hope to be back soon, and can absolutely recommend this establishment to any traveler who is seeking privacy and kind attentions from the team here.

I tried to speak with the manager at checkout to solve these issues and he was not available. I came back few hours later and he was still not available.

The lady at check out said they would contact me to take care of our concerns, but no one did. I sent 2 complaint emails following this, and no one replied to me.

It was the first time we stayed with you, and probably the last time.

Everything started with the bad chauffeur booking that picked us up from our private plane at Le Bourget, which your concierge arranged.

Considering that a regular van transfer from Le Bourget is usually 70 Euros, we paid 250 euros for a small mercedes with your concierge... OK, that is fine, however the chauffeur was not professional. He did not follow our instructions, he was not helpful and he was not kind. He did not help with our luggage or open the car doors and he did not follow the GPS map, which resulted in me arriving to a government meeting 20 minutes late at the embassy.

Following this at the hotel after arrival, there was no greeting, no welcome drink, no tour of the hotel nothing at all.

Then we kept having problems with the room key which was not properly opening the door during the entire stay.

The suite had serious heating problems. We alerted your staff many times during the first day about this and they did not fix it. In the end they sent the technician who spent almost 1 hour in the room, completely bothering us while trying to fix the problem and it was still not fixed. My 5 year old daughter and wife were freezing during the night as it was extremely cold in Paris on Thursday.

The secondary restroom did not have any towels in it.

Some parts of the room were very dusty and not clean.

Your concierge service was very incompetent as well. During the first day I had to call them 4 times for restaurant reservations, they never called me back. I had to keep following up multiple times. It was also impossible to get a table at the gabriel restaurant downstairs on 4 different occasions (lunch dinner, and lunch and dinner again). On the first evening also the entire bar area was filled with outside guests and it was not possible to enjoy a drink for in-house guests.

Considering the money I paid (more than 7.000 euros for the night with food and beverage) , and what I was expecting, this was a terrible experience. And to add insult to the whole thing, I was not able to meet the manager to mention all these things properly before leaving.

Please don't be surprised about the very negative review left here. You absolutely deserve it for treating your top clients with so little respect.

We stayed here for our honeymoon/babymoon and I am so glad we did. Our trip was made very special by the amazing staff, who go out of their way and pay attention to the smallest details. One night it was balloons in our room, the next it was delicious marshmallows. They even had a pregnancy pillow ready for me! No other hotel (we went on to stay at the Four Seasons in Cap Ferrat as we all Le Bristol to end our trip) did any such thing. Was so thoughtful.

The hotel itself is gorgeous, well located and safe area - a nice mix of modern and old-school glamour. Pool is incredible, serene (it was totally empty every time I went) and gym is small but complete. Restaurants are also cozy and beautiful with amazingly attentive servers. Food is of course great!

The bathroom was one of my favourite parts. We had a fairly small room, but the bathroom was almost as big as the room itself, all marble and a massive shower, heated floors, huge fluffy towels...so luxurious. I miss it! The free mini bar items are also SO NICE, in Paris where every hotel charges an arm and a leg for water, having endless juice, water, soft drinks etc was so appreciated.

We will be back! Merci beaucoup!!

The hotel is top notch. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. Probably the best shower I have had in a hotel. The location of the hotel is ideally located about a 20-30 minute walk to the Eiffel tower and about a 5 minute walk to great shopping areas. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris. It is a boutique style hotel that doesn't have many rooms which makes it an intimate experience.

La Reserve is a very special place and can easily be called the best hotel in Paris. Staying at La Reserve is like being in a private mansion with complete hotel services. The difference between La Reserve and a large luxury hotel like The Four Seasons is the personal touch. As an example, when, leaving the hotel, I determined that I did not need a jacket. I simply handed the jacket to the doorman who knew exactly what room to put it in. When I left my iPad in the gym, without even asking it was brought back to my room. There was no pedestrian traffic in the lobby. You either love the personal touch or you may prefer the anonymity provided at a larger hotel. That would be the only reason not to stay at La Reserve. We had room 101 which was approximately 550 ft.² and had a very large outdoor patio that made the room as special as one could have in Paris. I took the time to visit many of the other five star hotels in Paris and the only one that comes close to La Reserve is The Four Seasons. We came to Paris to elope, and the hotel could not be more gracious and welcoming. After our amazing dinner at Gabriels, in the hotel, which I will review separately, we came back to our room to find it decorated with balloons and rose petals. I told my new wife that I planned it, but she quickly figured out the hotel did. I almost didn't want to mention this as I don't want anyone to think that is why I thought the hotel was amazing.
Imagine, staying in a completely full-service hotel, with only only 40 rooms. Nespresso machines, complimentary Louvre skip the line passes, 3 star Michelin restaurant reservation and many other nice touches. On the first day of our stay, my wife realized she forgot to hem one of her jeans. The hotel immediately sent somebody up and had them returned in less than two hours complementary. Same for all the pressing for our wedding clothes. By now I'm sure, I've made my point that La Reserve is beyond five star.
