Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Reserved two rooms. Hotel section rooms are extremely small and no insulation from noise. Big enough for one person. Picture shown on Trip Advisor must be the suites in the rear of main hotel. Price for rooms are comparable to other hotels. Do not get a room next to the stair well or you will be sorry for the clomping feet going up or down at all hours of the night. This is "every night". Had to get manager on night at 2PM to get party animal couple across the hall to calm down or call the police. Street construction was going on the entire stay and also hotel repair work. On the bright side, good breakfast and location to Metro and buses.

This is a no-nonsense short-stop hotel that is warm and friendly and while not a luxury hotel it is very clean and comfortable and perfectly situated as a base for seeing Paris. Aa a very good price..

Location was great & David at the front desk goes above & beyond. My only concern was that their amenities on hotels.com state they provide hotel transport (a key factor for me choosing this hotel!) and they do NOT provide transport!! Plan to find your way on a train and walking a bit, or paying 65-75 euros for a taxi one way.

The rooms are very small. The bathroom was dirty with a dirty towel still hanging on the wall and a dirty toilet. The shower was so small you could barely move in it and anyone taller than 165 cm might bang their head! On a positive, the bed was very comfortable and overall the room was quiet. A staff member entered our room whilst we were dressing one evening without knocking. We would not stay here again

I stayed at the hotel for four nights with 3 people (including myself). The employees were very kind especially Ruby. Ruby was very positive and cheerful every time he saw my friends and I return to the hotel. The rooms are located past the lobby and are accessible through a courtyard. There are no stairs to get to the rooms which is nice if you have large/heavy luggage. The courtyard has chairs and tables so guests can enjoy the outdoor space. The room was clean and smelled smoke-free. The room had a great layout. It was a two story room. The bottom floor included a pull out couch, side table, closet (with 5 hangers and extra pillows), desk, full length mirror, and a toilet (no sink or shower). The top floor included a queen bed, a pull-out/roll-a-way bed, desk, chair, television, and a bath/shower/1 sink. The top floor bathroom was a great size, two people could be getting ready at the same time. The hotel provided soap bars, shampoo, tissue paper, a blow dryer (seemed very old), and towels. The cleaning ladies would make the bed daily (without changing the sheets), exchange old towels with new towels, and remove the room trash. The room included two moveable AC units, one on the top floor and the other on the bottom floor. The AC had a tube coming out of the back end of the AC. At times, the tube would blow hot air that would warm up the room therefore, my friends and I stuck the tube out the window so it wouldn’t warm the room. We told Ruby (concierge) that the AC was blowing hot air and he tried to fix it (but didn’t). The hotel provided WiFi however, it didn’t work great in the room. The WiFi worked better in the lobby. The hotel provides a key card that you tap to open your room and then insert to turn on the lights/electricity. They gave us one key card for three people. I prefer when they provide each guest with a key card. The hotel is situated in a nice location. There are several cafes and creperies on the hotel street. There are several metro stations nearby. Overall: I would stay here again. Side Note: the hotel offers breakfast however, I did not try it. Ruby offered my friends and I a complementary breakfast on our last morning.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for family staying. It's quite, comfortable and has amazing stuff. The only thing is that our room should definitely be renewed and refurbished. However, even this fact doesn't deny our positive feedback and willingness to be back agian

Quite disappointed with the room, breakfast and staff at breakfast. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Only got our towels changed once. Reception staff were nice. Location was quite good for what we needed. You have to leave the key card at reception every day before you go out. We didn't like that very much.

The location was great, the hotel was kind of fine. Breakfast is not great, often you have to wait to get any food in the morning. The room is very small, but it is fairly clean. The bathroom is odd, you have so little space there. Great for the price if you don't plan to spend too much time in the hotel during the day.

Our experience at the hotel was terrible. It looks like old and must be refurnished. The breakfast was bad and it was not self service so you depend on the bad mood of the employers to have a cup of coffee. I do not recommend it to anyone. It is not a cost benefit.
