Hôtel Henriette receives high marks for its impeccable cleanliness and stylish decor that creates a charming atmosphere. The cozy, well-appointed rooms may be on the small side but offer city views and are celebrated for their functionality.
While amenities like in-room fridges are missed, the hotel's location wins guests over with its easy metro access and proximity to local attractions. I really wanted to book a boutique hotel in Paris and when I saw pictures of Hotel Henriette I was sold. The hotel is about 4-5 minutes away from the nearest subway line - I believe it was Les Gobelins stop. The lobby was to die for, everything was so pretty and it made me happy just looking at it. The receptionists were also very friendly and when I went, there were mini croissants/chocolate croissants to welcome you. I stayed on the top floor of the hotel which kind of sucked because the elevator was so small. The elevator can either fit two people or one person and a suitcase. I am not sure if this was the case for most hotels in Paris though. Therefore, I usually took the stairs all the way up to avoid taking the elevator. The room itself was very clean and I really liked the hardwood floors, something I've never seen at a hotel. The room is not on the big side but it was cozy. I would like to note that you need to leave your room key at the receptionist desk each time you leave the hotel as well.

Dear Guest, What a pleasure to read your wonderful review written on TripAdvisor ! We thank you about your description of the atmosphere of our establishment. We are glad that you find it cozy and comfortable and we are thrilled that our little amenities satisfied you :) We were deeply sorry to learn that you did not like to be at the top floor. Indeed, our elevator is not big, but it is a hold building, this explains that a big elevator cannot fit. Next time, do not hesitate to write a comment regarding the floor that you would like at the reservation, in order for us to do our best to satisfy your request. We really hope to welcome you back at Henriette for another stay in Paris ! Kind regards, Beatrice

My brother-in-law and his wife had stayed at the Hotel Henriette twice and really enjoyed it each time, so we did not hesitate to book a 2-week stay. Our 5eme etage room faced the rooftops of the neighborhood, including a part of the Gobelin Manufactlurie. The location on the Left Bank near the Metro (Line 7), and busses, made it so easy to get where we wanted to go. Of course, many wonderful restaurants are near by. The entire team at the hotel was superb; so friendly, helpful, and efficient. The buffet breakfast was ample and varied and got us off to a good start every day. AND the hotel is air conditioned. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Dear Barbara & Robert, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your thoughts about the comfort of our hotel, its friendly atmosphere and caring team. We are really glad you enjoyed your stay with us! It was a great pleasure to have you with us during 2 weeks. We have the chance to be in a peaceful and charismatic area indeed near to the main transport to reach easily the center or the main attractions from Paris! There are some delicious restaurants a few steps away from Hotel Henriette! We made a list with our recommendations, This list is also available on our website. 🍽 We are really paying attention to the products we propose for our breakfasts, we took time to select each one of them to get the best quality for our guests! Right now, we offer breakfast to all the guests who make their reservation at the hotel directly with us (over the phone, by email or through our website). We really hope to have the pleasure to see you again in September. We know you'll be renting an appartment for 1 month but don't hesitate to come & say hi. Without renting a bedroom at that time, you can still enjoy breakfast or a drink at Hotel Henriette. We'll be happy to see you again. Have a wonderful summer Barbara & Robert. Warm regards from the Henriette team 🌷🌼🌷 Camille

Hotel Henriette is the most charming hotel in an ideal location to get you everywhere you need to go in Paris. The hotel is beautifully decorated, meticulously clean and adorable. The staff are so welcoming and warm and go out of their way to assist you with anything you may need. The rooms are peacefully quiet, I barely heard a sound from anyone over 7 days, and the bed was super comfortable with quality bed linens. I could not fault a thing about Hotel Henriette, it exceeded all my expectations and the staff are all truly lovely. It will be my hotel of choice again for my next trip to Paris.

This was the third time we stayed at Hotel Henriette over the last few years. The hotel has matured well. Everything is still in great shape and clean, the neighborhood has evolved in a positive way and is much more happening than a few years ago. The most important discovery upon returning: Malika is still ruling the breakfast room. She is the heart and soul of Hotel Henriette, greeting all guests with a warm smile. One would wonder why the hotel is not called Hotel Malika!
A brief summary of the latest stay:
Friendly and helpful staff (all of them!)
Spacious, clean room with a nice way into the street. Calm.
No bathtub, but shower. Bathroom is separated from bedroom with partial glass panes, so you better be on good terms with your travel companion and not afraid to see the other person in the bathroom.
Decent breakfast buffet that can be enjoyed inside or in the courtyard
Very limited drink and food service for the rest of the day, maybe due to Covid. Not a big deal, there are tons of bars and restaurants around
Fast Wifi
Metro station just around the corner (Gobelin)
Access to Orly station: via bus or via metro & tram. The connection with the tram takes longer but is by far the cheapest (just costs you a regular metro ticket) and easy with heavy luggage
Still highly recommend this for couples to want to enjoy a cozy boutique hotel with friendly staff in true Paris style.

Dear Markus, Thank you so much for this great review, the entire Henriette team is really grateful for your kind words! ❤ What an honor for Malika to receive such high and glorious compliments! Thank you very much also for your 3rd visit at Hotel Henriette. It was a pleasure to have you here again. We have thirty-two individually designed bedrooms. Our owner thought about every single details. She thinks the old furniture and materials bring poetry, elegance and originality to a place. Please kindly note we also have some bedrooms with a bathtub 🛁 & the system of partial glass panes is not in every bedrooms. Our buffet is complimentary for our guests who did their reservation directly with us (@, phone, through our website). The breakfast is the most important meal of the day so we do our best to give you the best experience with an amazing selection of fresh products! We can serve hot drinks, sodas, fresh smoothies or fruit juices, beers, red or white wine, rosé, Champagne ... & we have a selection of platters & snacks available 24H. We don't have any restaurants but you can order some food & enjoy your meal in our patio or living-room for intance. Also, we have a list of restaurants we recommend in the neighbourhood. There are so many fantastic restaurants a few steps aways from our Hotel indeed! At Henriette, you are away from the hustle and bustle, but no far from the main attractions from Paris indeed! We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you a 4th time at Hotel Henriette Markus. In the meantime, we wish you a lovely summer 🌷🌼🌷 Warm regards from Paris, Camille

Definitely a hidden gem. I found the Paris I knew so many years ago...but with mod coms! I was charmed from the moment I walked in by the warm welcome at reception, the layed back decor miles away from the usual corporate look , a charming bed room , impeccably clean with book shelves and to my delight a wooden floor with attractive rug - i detest the usual wall to wall carpeting that is never properly cleaned no matter where it is , a window giving on a very quiet & ancient (well- Paris is isn'tit?) street . Pure comfort & peace. You are a stone's throw away from les Gobelins in a "real" neighbourhood that is miles away from the glossy tourist trap brochures and yet you are walking distance from all that if you so wish.
I forgot to mention the fabulous buffet for breakfast . Frankly I wanted the place to myself!
But most of all there was such a welcoming , warm atmosphere to the place... Merci Henriette , a toutes et a tous.

Really nice stay at this cozy boutique hotel. The location is great, the neighborhood is nice, and the metro is just a stone's throw away from the hotel. All the staff I met were really pleasant, service was excellent in both French and English. My room (one person) was small but highly functional, housekeeping kept it very clean and tidy. The hotel gives out a guide with its favorite restaurants in the area, which I found a very charming touch. Visited two of them during my few days there, and both were great. The breakfast was also very good, the dining area, especially with its little inner courtyard, was enjoyable.
If I had to come up with complaints, my biggest issue was probably the noise proofing or lack thereof in the room: compared to some of the other hotels I visited during my trip, relatively much street noise entered the room during the night. This was not a major problem, though, and since the hotel is slightly off the main road, I did usually get a good night's sleep without issues.
Overall, a highly recommended hotel. Definitely could call this a hidden gem in Paris.

I was looking for a room for one night while renovation was going on at my nearby apartment - therefore a low cost but decent hotel. I found that and much more. Very nicely situated in the heart of the Gobelins neighbourhood with lots of restaurants in nearby rue Mouffetard, yet quiet old Paris area. This small boutique hotel is pleasantly decorated, in a zen chic type way, with a warm touch. Simple minimalistic furniture & linen sheets (which I loved!).

Dear Lisiane, It was a real pleasure reading your review and how much you enjoyed your stay with us! We are so delighted that you liked our design, we tried to do something different: a warm, comfy and cozy atmosphere so you feel like home away from home :) It is also true that the location of Henriette is nearly perfect, in a quiet street yet close to many shops, restaurants, as well as the lively rue Mouffetard located at 5 minutes by walk. The metro stop is right in the corner, and the line 7 is very convenient to go to center of Paris as well as most touristic attractions. We always strive to make our guests feel comfortable, and it’s a pleasure to see that we were up to your expectations! We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again at Hotel Henriette, even if you are one of our close neighbour :) Kind regards Lionel

The location is excellent on a quite side road with little traffic noise. A boulangerie 100 metres away , Metro Gobelins station 400 metres . clean , small boutique style hotel , helpful friendly staff who speak English at reception . Rooms are comfortable and have en suite . A kettle was provided on request for making tea . Beds were excellent . We had room 55 which was a twin and just across was room 56 which was a double . Safe in the room , TV and a/c . Nice thick curtains kept the room dark at night . Breakfast was € 6 for toast or croissant plus coffee and juice . full breakfast was € 13 but an egg was extra ! I can recommend this hotel .

Staying at Hotel Henriette was one of the nicest surprises of my recent trip to Paris. I stayed for ten nights and found the staff unfailingly pleasant, cheerful and helpful. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious and available until the very civilized hour of 10:30 AM. There was always a plate of croissants on the coffee table in the lobby and coffee and tea were available in the cozy sitting area on request. The decor is delightful - an interesting mixture of mid-century modern and boho chic, enhanced with big bouquets of fresh flowers and lots of good reading material. You feel that you are in the home of a very fun-loving and chic Parisian friend. Since it was February, I was not able to enjoy the hotel's lovely courtyard, though I was tempted as it looked so pretty,. The rooms are nicely decorated and small, of course, it's Paris! But everything you need is there: the beds are very comfortable, good lighting, the bathrooms modern, the hot water abundant, and everything is kept exquisitely clean. The hotel is on a small side street and is blessedly quiet at night. The neighbourhood is slightly off the beaten tourist track, for the time being, and yet has all the beauty and allure of 19th century Haussmanian architecture. There is a metro station around the corner, grocery stores and local restaurants abound, and most major sites are within reasonable walking distance. I will definitely return to Hotel Honeriette when I am in Paris again. It's a gem.
