We were welcomed to the hotel by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. The hotel was always extremely clean. The rooms were very cosy and modernised. The room had good facilities such as tea and coffee, a safe, a hairdryer and soaps, shampoos etc. There was the option for breakfast to pay 13 euros a day but we wanted to explore Paris to try the local cuisine in cafes and boulangeries.

In terms of location, it was perfect! We were about a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, a 2 minute walk to the metro and a 2 minute walk from cafes, restuarants, boulangeries, shops and a supermarket. The restaurants nearby all did happy hour for drinks roughly between 17:00-20:00 which was great!

Located on a bustling street surrounded by cafes, shops, restaurants, this renovated older building is the hotel where we stayed.
The hotel staff spoke several languages so we were able to easily communicate in English. They were always helpful.
Breakfast was simple but filling. We had the same offerings the 3 days we were there- pastries, fruit salad, cold cuts, a range of cheeses, butter, jellies, cereals, juices, coffee.
There is a vending machine that offers additional beverages and snacks.
The room was not overly large. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room had an a/c unit that you could control the temperature
The room offers an electric kettle.
There is a cubby area with hangers and shelves for your clothing(not closet)
There are no washcloths or iron/iron board as we are used to having in the US, do plan accordingly
The bathroom was modern in decoration with a rain forest shower head. There is the tiniest of sinks I’ve seen.
My one complaint is the design of the bathroom in this room ( pic posted on website shows bathrooms with different configuration). There is a glass shelf above the sink which prevents you from leaning over the sink to, for example- wash your face or brush your teeth. The shower in this room may also be a challenge if you’re a particularly large person . Also the towels seemed a bit worn. Minor issues. On upside there is a nice warning rack for your towels of other items fir a quick dry
The hotel is within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower -25 minutes, with places for eating and shopping nearby. The louvre and Versailles palace were short cab rides away.
All in all I enjoyed my short stay and would stay here should I visit Paris again

Booked an airport transfer through hotel and confirmed with reception three times. Arrived into CDG and the hotel claimed no such booking existed. We had to get an Uber to the hotel at 10pm on Christmas Eve after a 20 hour travel day (which cost more than the booked transfer). After a call with the “manager” of the hotel (who is extremely rude), this was rectified with a free charter to train station which we appreciated.

Reception was unsure where spare towels were held as it was the staff member’s first day.

Small rooms but close walk to Eiffel Tower. Good for a short stay as train station and Monoprix are nearby.

The room was not as small as I expected. We were satisfied with the size of the room and the size of the bathroom. I assume that the hotel was recently renovated because everything in the room seemed new, with a modern design. We also really liked the location of the hotel: 3 minutes' walk to the metro station and 18 minutes' walk to the Eiffel Tower. Next to the hotel you had a bakery, a supermarket, restaurants.

Disliked · When I got to the room, I found a lot of hair in the bathroom on the floor and in the toilet. It seemed that the cleaning was not completed. I thought it was a mistake.
The pillows were not comfortable.
And if the rooms were renovated, I would also change the linens and towels that seem outdated.

Hotel 31 was a lovely surprise. With a good price ( for Paris standards), a good walk distance to the Eiffel Tower and next to a few local restaurants, the hotel is in a perfect location to allow you to walk around with safety during the night.
We had a family 3 beds room and the size was great, with a lovely and spacious balcony ( again, do not expect gigantic rooms in Paris). The room was sparkling clean ( very complete set of toilet amenities). The staff was extra nice, they all made the effort to speak with my parents that don’t speak neither French nor English, they were very welcoming and flexible to was. The breakfast was nice and with a fair price!
I would highly recommend this place!

First, the location is very good, near numerous cafes and restaurants, as well as the Eiffel Tower. There is a simple but tasty breakfast. But, the room is tiny, with a queen size bed that took up most of the space. There was no place to sit comfortably: no chair and only a tiny ‘dressing table’ with a small stool. The worst part was that the air conditioner did not work, which made sleeping difficult. We opened the doors on both sides to let night air in but that allowed in all the noise from the streets below: people shouting and lots of vehicle noise. There was no fan in the room so the stuffy air did not circulate. All together, it was quite uncomfortable. Of course, we reported the AC problem to the front desk, but the guy there (who was very pleasant) said all he could do was report the problem to the manager, which produced no result for us during the two nights we stayed there, no-one came even to look at the problem. When we asked to change rooms, the front desk guy said ‘sorry but we’re full’. Also, the heating plate for the water jug (for making tea or coffee) did not work. I’m glad we only booked this hotel for two nights, we were at the end of our tolerance by then. This hotel needs to do a much better job of responding to the basic needs of their guests, and checking that the appliances are working.

I feel I need to put a fantastic review on here, the staff at this hotel went above and beyond to help us with anything and everything.

I'm sad I don't know the names of the staff but I hope they see this and know how great they made our stay.

To start the male who was on the reception desk during mornings/daytime was great, he took our bags and kept them safe whilst we was early. He printed out our Disney tickets as we had not realised we had to have them printed, got us whatever we needed when asked and was always so friendly and helpful.

Then, the women with dark hair who was in the breakfast room most mornings was great, not only did she help with anything needed, she went out of her way to make our little boy Arlo happy! she played, had a cuddle and made us feel as ease.

I can't praise the staff at this hotel enough!

The hotel itself was in a great location, clean and tidy and had everything we needed including a travel cot for our infant. 20 min walk to the tower, so many lovely restaurants and shops on our doorstep including a Monoprix (Great little supermarket!) and a McDonalds 2 mins away for the fussy toddler who wouldn't eat anything else!

Thanks for making our stay great, we can't wait to come back when visiting Paris next!

We recently stayed at this charming little hotel for 2 nights.
We had a very long day of travelling to get here and we’re greeted by a lovely receptionist.
Our room was beautiful abs much larger than anticipated. The bathroom was beautiful as were the complimentary toiletries. There’s also a vending machine stocked with water and snacks if like us, you are too exhausted to go exploring for basics.
The hotel is in a lovely neighbourhood. Not many tourists but lots of shops, restaurants and bakeries.
Only 15mins walk to the Eiffel Tower and 2mins to a metro station that easily connects you to all the main Paris attractions.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel or stay again. 10/10

Friendly staff and a great location cannot overcome paper thin walls, small rooms (even for Paris), and spotty WiFi.

The first of our hotel stays started out with amazing success. We arrived very early and the staff had already prepared a room! It was our smoothest check-ins of the trip. We dropped our bags off and went out to explore.

The location was excellent. An easy walk to various public transit lines as well as the Eiffel tower. There were also plenty of small shops and bakeries near by.

When it finally came back to the room, well, it was small. Luckily we didn't need to unpack much. The walls were so thin we could hear everything our neighbors did. And as mentioned, the wifi kept dropping even after the staff reset it.

Overall, not a total fumble but room for improvement.

Stayed 7 nights in this hotel that I recently discovered as my regular hotel was fully booked.
Ideally situated in the rue du commerce, a busy neighborhood with restaurants and shops. It was recently renovated. The room are of a decent size for this type of hotel in Paris. The bathroom was a little small. the desk in my room was a little small and in a corner. so not easy to work on the computer. Good quality bedding and linen. Good amenities in the bathroom. coffee and tea facilities. safe deposit. Ample space in the wardrobe. big size tv. vending machine on the ground floor.

The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. They do speak numerous languages and could see that client were at ease with them.

The only negative part for me is the door banging! need to put some stopers or something to slow down the speed of door closing.

Will definitely go back there on my next trip.
