Detailed Reviews
The hotel is walkable to the Eurostar and with the public transport strikes, well located for walking around Paris! The welcome was warm, the room excellent, the reception team friendly and courteous. I read a lot of reviews and this hotel did not disappoint. The breakfast was excellent and we stopped at the Caumartin Astotel to use the facilities (a positive "perk" of being an Astotel client) when we were walking. There are lots of lovely restaurants/tapas bars in the vicinity and the reception were extremely helpful to make suggestions. We would definitely recommend this hotel and indeed try other hotels in the chain as they are good quality for the price you pay!

Hotel George Astotel was a great hotel located close to the metro and Montmartre. The room was typical Europe hotel, small but accommodating. There was plenty of room to hang clothes in the built in. The room also had a safe. The biggest perk is the free drinks and snacks that are available in the lobby all day. You can also stop by any of their other locations throughout the city while sightseeing for refreshments and bathroom. Also, the mini fridge in the room is complementary and refilled each day when the housekeeping cleans the room. Major perk! Beds were comfortable and windows opened allowing fresh air. Overall, very nice hotel and friendly staff.

We had an absolutley enjoyable stay at Astotel Georges. The Staff welcomed us very warmly and always took such good care of us! A special thanks at this point again to the amazing receptionist! The rooms were spotlessly clean and of good size, we were surprised by the free minibar and the “Open Bar” concept of all the astotels in Paris. The location in the 9th district is very nice, its in walking distance of the beautiful Sacre Coeur and you can reach the City center by foot within 20 minutes. The breakfast was very well organized and the buffet had everything you could think of for breakfast. The dishes on the buffet even switched from day to day so you would always find something new each morning.
We will defently be back and can only recommend this hotel to everyone!

+1
Great hotel. Staff was above and beyond helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend breakfast. Roomy breakfast room with play area for children. 3 minute Walk to Saint George metro station. Restaurants across and next to hotel. Lift in hotel for 2 people and luggage. Astotels in Paris have free bottled water, juice and small snacks in lobby. They give you a map of their other locations so you can stop and use astotel restrooms and refreshments. This was definitely a plus. Especially when looking for restrooms. We stopped at several of their other locations in Paris. Rooms throughout Paris are relatively on the small side but enough room for 2 adults and luggage. We stayed at George Astotel for 4 days then went back again for 2 more days at the end of our trip. I would definitely recommend George Astotel in Paris!

Being a wheelchair bound disabled person with other disabilitie's I have not travelled or stayed in any establishment since way before the pandemic. I was very nervous about booking any hotel.Well I need not have worried at all. This hotel should be classed as a 5* in my personal opinion.
From a seamless check in & having our room ready for us two hours ahead of the scheduled check in time of 3pm this was greatly received.
Our adapted room was absolutely perfect stunning in fact with a beautiful wetroom with a shower seat & grab rail's & an extra bonus was the rainwater style shower head along with a normal hosed shower. So two shower's in one was an added bonus. The beautiful accessible low level sink & raised toilet was again simply stunning. This wetroom was of showroom quality even the flooring was stunning & dried ever so quickly.
The only couple of niggle's was the mattress was to soft but that was not the hotel's fault as it can not meet everybody's needs & disabilitie's.
The second negative was our room was next to the cleaner's storeroom/cupboard & they were quite loud talking & laughing amongst themselves very early in the morning when they arrived for their shift. That did disturb my sleep on both mornings of our stay but again this was a minor disturbance.
The room also benefited from a huge window with doors either side & a secondary glassed window with artificial greenery that you could see out of both windows but nobody could see in to the room. This was a fantastic addition to the room along with an electric shutter it really was an amazing asset to the beautiful room with subject to detail.
The manager was gracious & said if there was anything you need just to let her know.Honestly there was nothing we needed as everything was pristine. The linens were also bright white & looked brand new.
To top of the excellence of The Hotel George was the free soft drink mini bar in your room replenished daily this was much needed & greatly received.Along with snacks & more soft drinks available in the lobby area from 2pm-2am.Where else would you get such extra's plus if you are out & pass any other Asotel you can pop in & show your room card & you can enjoy their drinks & snacks on route to sightseeing or stop off on your way back to The Hotel George.
I really wanted to keep this hidden gem a secret from you all for selfish reasons but I can not do that as it needs to be praised for being so outstanding.
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so welcoming.
So please do not hesitate in booking this outstanding hotel.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely resort adjacent to the Opera district and I cannot be happier we stayed here. It is conveniently located to a metro station to allow easy access to all parts of Paris but far enough away from the main tourist areas to be quiet and peaceful.
The staff are friendly and beyond helpful, willing to call and make any arrangements you need, offer alternatives so you can achieve or vacation goals, or suggest experiences you hadn't thought of (I would have loved that nighttime Seine river cruise, but it was too cold).
Walking around paris takes a lot out of you and with the temperate climate, it is easy to not drink enough water. Hotel George takes care of you there too, each room has a non-alcoholic minibar with water, soda, and juice. Additionally, for staying at an Astotel property, guests have access to the Astotour and can take advantage of the open bar at any Astotel hotel in Paris.

We stayed in the two bed room apartment for a long weekend. It offers about 40 square metres, a huge bathroom including two sinks, a bathtub, an own shower and a toilet in its own room - all together pretty convinient for a family. Every bedroom comes with its own TV, the minibar is refilled with free non-alcoholic drinks on a daily basis...the room and the hotel is in pretty good shape and nicely located in a quarter where you get everything you might desire.
If you need to discover things beyond this arrondisement, you can just walk to the adjacent metro station ‚Saint George‘ or ‚Pigalle‘ and get whereever you want.
But what made our stay really special was the care taking attidue of the team. They were extraordinary friendly - all of them.
@ Zinédine: Noah finally made me to rate you guys five stars!

I stayed for 3 weeks at Hotel George and will certainly be staying there again on future visits to Paris. The location is very central, walkable to many sites in the centre of Paris. The service is outstanding. They provide a very good variety breakfast buffet. The rooms are clean, bed is very comfortable. They provide different cost options for larger rooms with a view of rue Notre Dame de Lorette.

This hotel falls into the “you think it’s too good to be true, but it’s exactly true and amazing” category. I have been to Paris dozens of times and stayed in hotels and Airbnb’s. My fiancé had never been. I’ve always loved the 9th&10th arrondissement so knew where I wanted to be. At the time of booking a lot was affordable but from now on I’ll only stay at Astotel hotels. Here’s what happens …
They own 17 hotels around Paris. When you stay at one you get to go into any of the other locations anytime and enjoy at all of them … FREE beverages, snacks which include pastries and cakes at some, bathrooms, Wi-Fi, couches and location help. Unreal! It’s like a personal network there to make your own trip better. And better yet they have the coolest interior decor that is unique to each hotel so you want to go looking just to see how pretty they are.
The room we had at The George was great. Perfectly comfortable good sized bed (Queen by US standards), good size bathroom (European bathrooms are notoriously tight and small), walls were thick enough we could head a baby screaming at one point but no conversation through the walls. Prime location to metro. Absolutely safe. Don’t feel being close to Pigalle (old red light district and where Moulin Rouge is) is a reason to worry. Be smart obviously but that goes without saying.
Staff were so cheerful and pleasant and offered to book things for us if we wanted but didn’t jam them at us either. Maps, guides and umbrellas all offered complimentarily in abundance. Amazing value for money especially when you’re out for the day and just need a breather somewhere or some Wi-Fi or a snack or a toilet and you can pop into any location.
Couldn’t recommend enough. We live in the US and travel A LOT, this chain and location will be our go to from now on.

We had four people traveling with us and the taxi cost 80.00. It was quite a distance.
Dear Bajwaalee,
Both aeroport CDG and ORLY are approximatly at 25-28 km from the Hotel George. There is no free Shuttle.
It's easy to take a taxi (55€), shuttle, or RER (train) from both aeroport.
The Eiffel Tower, is at 5 Km, arround 30 minutes by metro, from the Hotel George.
Make sure that George team will give you all the informations you need, when you will check-in, to go there, or somewhere else. :)
Do not hesitate to send us an email, directely to the hotel with all your details, for more informations.
We are looking formward to welcoming you,
Best regards from George Team!
We went on Eurostar
Dear Shauna,
The Eiffel tour is 25-30 mins by metro from the hotel.
At Pigal take the line 2 direction Porte Dauphine.
At Charles de Gaulle Etoile, change to line 6 until Bir Hakeim (the nerest metro station)
Peronally, i recommande to get out at Trocadero and than cross the Seine. The panoramic view on the Eifell tour is beautifull!
Loking forward to welcoming you.
Kind regards
Sonia Do Nascimento
Dear Abishop1115,
In the appartement the double bed is a king size.
We stay at your disposial for further informations, do not hesitate to contact us by email.
