Hotel Sacha is celebrated for its enchanting, theatrical ambiance and snug environment, although it's worth noting that some guests consider the rooms and bathrooms to be on the smaller side. The staff's personalized service and local recommendations consistently receive accolades, contributing to the hotel's charm. While the compact nature of the facilities is mentioned, the spotless cleanliness and modern amenities do not go unnoticed. Its central location is a highlight, placing guests in the heart of a bustling neighborhood, and the overall value is appreciated for the affordable and satisfactory experience it provides.

Coming from North American standards, I think the room sizes we are used to are different from European standards, so that might have been the issue, but the rooms in this hotel were tiny!! I got this hotel after booking through Hotwire, and had the double twin room. When the woman at the front desk checked us in, she offered us an upgrade to the classic double room for 10 additional euros per night because she felt we would need the additional space due to how much luggage we had (we had 2 large suitcases and 1 small carry-on). We took the upgrade because traveling as a couple, we obviously preferred to sleep in the same bed instead of 2 separate twin beds!

The classic double room was tiny. I don't understand how much smaller the room could be if we had chosen to keep the twin bed room. Also, note that the classic double room was essentially two twin beds pushed together, and a large flat sheet tucked over the two beds. It is the same as sleeping on two twin beds...I would not have gone for the upgrade had I known this.

The standing shower was very small, I would say I'm more thin/average, but even I felt like it was small. We didn't bother turning on the TV, it was pretty small for the size of the room. I also saw some stain marks on the carpet, but other than that the room was clean.

The location of this hotel is good, I felt safe staying in this area. When I stayed here, the metro was closed due to the strike so I wasn't able to use that, but there are lots of good shops and restaurants around here. Also for reference, it was about a 1 hour walk to the Eiffel Tower.

Dear Adrienne077, Thank you for the your compliments about our friendly staff. At Hotel Sacha, we strive to make our guests feel "home" for a few days and we help them to get the best out of their stay in Paris. In typical parisian builing like ours, guest rooms are rather small indeed, especially compared to North American standards but as you mentioned the location is fabulous, such round the corner of the vibrant Martyrs street. Hotel Sacha is a 15min walk from Montmartre, the Opera House, Le Louvre, the deparments stores... the choice is yours! We hope you had a safe trip back and we all look forward to welcoming you again in 2020 !

I am sitting in reception at this Lovely hotel waiting to return home after a fabulous 3 night stay. The staff at this hotel are a credit to the owners, we only met warm, friendly and very helpful staff. The breakfast is plentiful with everything you need to set yourself up for a busy day sightseeing. It has been commented on that the classic rooms are small. this is the case but still plenty big enough for us. The hotel is beautifully clean. The decor is quirky and depicts a theatre - this is replicated throughout. St George's is the nearest metro and the metro is really easy to navigate. There are lots of nearby restaurants - easy to walk to after a busy day. Corvid 19 is effecting Paris but if you follow the local health advice and general good hygiene I wouldn't be put off of visiting. Some places are only taking card payments and even if you have a museum pass you will need to book a time slot for the Louvre. Most tourist attractions are having a 1000 person limit so be prepared to queue for some attractions even if pre booked. All in all a wonderful stay in a beautiful, clean and friendly hotel - I would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from staying in room 501, which is a very small room that has a very small bathroom. That is not a criticism of the hotel as the room sizes are clearly shown on the website but if you are a couple and staying for a few days, you may want to invest in moving to a larger room.

Our room only had one plug socket that the kettle was plugged in to. We raised this with the front desk and they gave us a multi socket lead

The soap in the room is a very small bar. For two people we asked for more and this was quickly provided

Sitting on the toilet was a little awkward as your knees touch the wall opposite and although there is space around the bed, it is not easy to walk round the bed!

On arrival we received an email to check if all was well. This gave us the opportunity to ask for the room to be cleaned as we felt it was a little lacking e.g. the light switches were sticky to the touch

Breakfast was perfectly adequate and I personally really enjoyed the mango yoghurt!

All the staff were very polite and friendly

The lift is small and at peak times e.g. the morning it can often be quicker to walk down the stairs

The hotel is in a great location surrounded by lots of lovely places to eat and drink

Would I stay here again? Yes but I would opt for a bigger room that 501 as the hotel is quirky in design and if you are out and about in Paris, you probably won’t spend much time in the room

My fiancé and I stayed here over Valentine’s weekend (when we got engaged). Walking into reception to discover the theatre theme and great decoration we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff.

Our room was a nice size (the one up from standard) and well decorated in the theme. It was clean and well presented. The bathroom was nice although the shower a bit small, the water pressure and temperature was excellent.

The hotel is in a great location and easy walking distance to the Metro, with plenty to do close by.

We also enjoyed the breakfast which had good variety and was included.

Only reason for not giving five stars would be the that the room wasn’t very sound insulated. The man next door had a terrible cough and it was like staying next to a seal.

But overall would highly recommend!

The hotel stuff is on every occasion try to charge you extra for everything. Please be aware that the price you are booking is not the last one. You have additional cost of city tax or if you wish to check in before 4pm you have to pay extra €40! Please keep receipts as when you check out they will try to charge you again for this if you not show them receipt.... totally messed and they do not even consider it is not ok to do that. The rooms are like English box room with window next to windows of the neighbour (you can see everything- it is like 2m away....). The bathroom is missing soap or shampoo so if you think this 4* hotel have it....you will be disappointed. The person whom is more than 170cm high will not seat on toilet or use shower as will not fit in there. This is totally not 4* nice hotel and very much overpriced. I would not recommend this hotel at all to anyone.

Dear bart_omiejr890, Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback after your stay at Hotel Sacha. Just to help other readers to understand the extra cost to be paid in France, the city tax, is indeed not included into the room rate ; actually its cost is decided by the city (of Paris in our case) and hotels only collect it for the account of the city. Regarding check in time, it is 3pm (not 4pm) as indicated on our website www.hotelsacha.com and all other websites selling Hotel Sacha. Should you wish to check in earlier, an extra 20€ will be charged (not 40€ unless you have 2 rooms of course). In the bathrooms we have choosen the ecological option of the hair and body gel dispenser in the shower, but you also have a bar of soap on the sink as well as an extra one in the cupboard together with the extra towels. You are right that some shower cabins and bathroom in general are rather small but well organised. We are sorry that you did not appreciated your stay at Hotel Sacha but we hope you and your mother had a safe trip back home.

Just got back from a 3 night stay at hotel sacha paris and would highly recommend this lovely little hotel,we arrived early to check in and the staff couldn't be more welcoming, the room they were going to put us in wasn't ready so they offered us another which was situated on the ground floor next to the breakfast area, the room was really clean and spacious, the decor was fun and quirky and just gave the hotel something a little extra. We had breakfast every morning which was a good, fresh and tasty assortment, we had a late train home and they were more than happy to keep our bags so we could go off for the day. The hotel is a stones throw away from little cafes, a few resturants, patisseries, boutique style shops and about a 10 minute walk to the moulin rouge and the adult area.
All in all hotel sacha and the staff made our first trip to Paris a pleasurable experience and would defiantly stay again.

Petite and well presented the Hotel Sacha is a lovely find in the centre of Paris. It is walking distance to everywhere you would want to go and a short metro trip to everywhere else. The hotel has friendly and helpful staff especially if your french is minimal. The rooms are small but clean and temperature controled. The bathroom is only big enough for one person at a time but the shower water pressure is good.
The road outside is a little loud into the evening because of people drinking in the local bar, and noisey in the morning when deliveries for the bars and hotels arrive.

Myself and my partner have just returned from a whirlwind tour of Paris. I booked the hotel Sacha with little knowledge of the hotel or the surrounding area. We were greeted by very friendly staff and many surprises in this theatrical themed hotel. The rooms were all individually themed and were interestingly decorated with many drapes and curtains as if your room was actually part of a theatre! I would definately recommend the Sacha if you were looking for something just a little different for your stay in Paris.

Dear JDarling123, The entire team was happy to read your great comments about Hotel Sacha. It is indeed a charming hotel, in a theatrical theme, situated 5 minutes from Theatre St Georges, close to the Moulin Rouge, La Cigale and other concert places. We enjoy being in the quiet rue de Navarin, next to the vibrant rue des Martyrs full of bars, restaurants and atypical shops! We do hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you soon again at Hotel Sacha Paris.

We first came to Hotel Sacha last year and had such a fantastic stay that we knew we had to come back to the same hotel for our trip this November. The same two people were on reception as last time and they were both so welcoming, kind and friendly. The team members here really go out of their way to help you and make sure you have a lovely time.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect as it's a fairly short walk to central Paris but is away from the hustle and bustle. The road is just off the Rue des Martyrs which has a fantastic atmosphere and is full of great restaurants, bakeries and shops. It's also a very short walk to Montmartre so ideal to catch the sunset from Sacré-Coeur.

As before, the room was impeccably clean, the beds are really comfortable, the shower is powerful and warm, and we couldn't hear any noise at all from outside during the night. We love the quirky theatre-themed decoration.

Thank you to all the wonderful team members at Hotel Sacha for a perfect stay!

My first trip to Paris was during the week of Halloween 2019 (Oct 27 to Nov 1), and this was the place that my Mother booked for our stay in the City of Light. We were assigned to Room 502, I was ecstatic that I would have a bedroom to myself including a bathroom, I also had a view of the Parisian rooftops including the Eiffel Tower in the distance! That was the reason why this property is my favorite hotel experience. I really liked the ambiance that the interior décor gave off, it felt like sleeping in a Parisian Opera, simply magical! I also found the hotel breakfast to be yummy and customer service to be very welcoming. Lastly, this hotel had free Paris maps for anybody who needed them, I now consider that to be a souvenir!

Dear KyleS, Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed comment on the Sacha hotel: the whole team was delighted to read your lines! We are happy that you enjoyed the special "theatrical" atmosphere of our unique hotel as well as the quality of our service. As far our triple rooms are concerned, they have 2 interconnecting rooms with their own separate bathroom (with shower / WC) on the top floor, so families generally feel very comfortable. For your information, we are currently renovating some rooms on lower floors that will be accomodating up to 4 people. We hope that you will soon be able to travel to the City of Light again and of course we are all looking forward to welcoming you back to Hotel Sacha.

Showers were a bit small but not a problem for us, plenty of hot water. Pigalle takes you to most places direct, metro system is easy to understand and reasonably priced. Buses were great too. Airport is either cab (like in this country there are some rogue taxis so make sure you get a genuine one) or metro away (not sure if it's direct though). WiFi was fine.

Hi, sorry I've not replied sooner. I'm sure they will look after your bags. My girlfriend and I left ours all day after check out so as not to drag them all over the place - we had evening flights. There was no charge for them storing our bags. The staff are so friendly and more than willing to help.
