Timhotel Montmartre

Another view out from inside the room which has the French balcony to step out to. Can be dizzying at that height standing on almost a narrow ledge with a wrought iron railing as protection.

The hotel's cleanliness and well-maintained rooms come highly recommended, though some guests have noted their compact size. First of all do NOT follow google maps, especially if you’re walking - it’s WRONG..
We lugged our suitcases from Gard Du Nord up hills, to find out it was 1/4 mile further away.. even now when I look on google maps it shows the TimHotel in 1 spot and it’s totally wrong..
Urghh that got us off to a bad start. The hotel is right next to Montmartre Museum.

Right around the corner from Abbesses metro. It’s in a great location, literally 3 minute walk to the beginning of Montemarte Square it’s also next to Montemarte Museum Close. And pretty close to Pigalle station.
€14 for breakfast we didn’t indulge.

We loved staying there it had beautiful clean rooms. Rooms were small (but most of Europe’s hotels are) but we had beautiful white clean linen & duvets
We ordered a triple single room I believe it was the superior triple (a few € extra) 1st floor, corner room with double windows which gave us a street view (we didn’t want to be in an attic at the top of the stairs)
A small closet to hang coats no drawers & 1 luggage rack so it meant a lot of juggling with our cases to make sure we could actually move around in the room.
Kettle with tea & instant coffee and 2 creamers!!
Why are hotels so stingy on giving cream to their patrons - 3 of us to share 2 tiny creamers!!!!

Anyway the bathroom was compact but clean had a fabulous hot towel rail so we could rinse out our bits & dry them overnight. Had a large window overlooking the street which we obviously kept closed for the most part, but it was lovely to have the option to open.

The beds were very comfortable the pillows were comfortable and overall we were very happy with the Modern clean look of the room we would definitely all stay there again
The guy at reception was very friendly and helpful.
There is a tiny lift.
For the price we paid we totally would recommend, it’s a small hotel but extremely clean with a modern feel especially the bathroom. The bedding was lovely.

A lovely hotel in the beautiful Artist region of Montmartre .
A clean and stylish entrance with welcoming staff. The check-in process was quick and efficient.
We requested a balcony with city views ……. and we were delighted to have got both.
Their is a spiral staircase to the rooms or an elevator which can hold 4 people, both were well maintained and clean.
The room had a electronic key entrance and was easy to find. We were on the fourth out of five floors.
The room was amazing. Parisian hotels tend to have smaller rooms then places like London, but our room was spacious.
We had a wonderful view of the city and the Eiffel Tower, which we requested, with opening French doors onto a balcony.
The bed was very comfortable and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
The bathroom was small, but well decorated…… very modern and fully equipped.
The shower was hot with a lot of pressure and our towels were replaced daily. Hair dryer and shaving point were built into the bathroom.
There were no slippers or bath robe as the amenities stated, but that was fine.
Breakfast was between 6.30am -10.30am and was amazing, everything you could have wanted from a Parisian breakfast and to set you up for a day of sightseeing.
The neighbour of Montmartre is a vibrant, lively Artist part of Paris with amazing restaurants, boutiques and places of interest to visit.
The area is a high part of Paris so there are a lot of steep walkways and cobbles streets, so you will be able to easily burn off all you eat or drink.
All in all a wonderful hotel in a beautiful area. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent customer service. I really appreciated how helpful and kind reception was. This hotel is in a great spot right at the top of Montmarte with a view from every room. For a traveler on a budget or just someone who wants a really clean basic room this is a great spot. The showers are tiny, but the entire space is very efficient and perfect if you are out and about all day long. It would be interesting to see the lobby set up more like a coffee shop to make the space more inviting while still seating enough guests.

It's only 3 stars but very comfortable, clean and with great views over Paris. The front desk gives excellent service and the rooms are very clean and quiet so you can sleep with the windows open.
The only negative was the lack of drainage in the shower zone so the bathroom got very wet and held the water near the WC.

We were in Paris for 4 days and felt comfortable at Timhotel Montmatre. Although the room and especially the bathroom was quite small, but compensated for our view of the city and the Eiffel Tower (room was on the 5th floor). The breakfast buffet was sufficiently rich (with scrambled eggs, ham, cereals, fresh fruit salad,...) and the location pleasantly quiet (despite the proximity to Sacre Cour) and nice and central to explore Paris from there.
We felt very well.

The views over Paris were absolutely gorgeous and beyond anything I could have imagined. Considering the view and its location, the room was incredibly affordable and very quiet. I love the sustainability efforts of this boutique hotel and the staff were lovely. Despite being a few minutes late for checkout (due to getting hopelessly lost) the reception staff were extremely understanding and accommodating. A gorgeous romantic hotel that I adored staying in.

Nice location, close so Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. Our "standard" room was very tiny. No storage, so we lived out of our suitcases. No place to even put your soap in the shower. Breakfast was pitiful. Scrambled eggs were doled out just enough for a couple of folks before they were gone. The side of ham was a glob of sliced ham in a warmer completely unseparated. Front desk seem uninterested.

The location is great, just a short walk to Sacre Coeur. However, the hotel is located in a small square with about 10 steps as well as a few steps to enter the building. This was fine for me, but could be a problem for some people. However, when I arrived, I was told the elevator was not working and I would need to carry my luggage to the 5th floor. After carrying my backpack up the stairs, I realized that I would be unable to carry my suitcase. I told the young lady at check-in & then she carried it up the stairs. I've attached a photo of the staircase. The elevator was working a few hours later and continued to work for the rest of my stay. So, I don't know if that is a common occurrence. The room itself was small, but ok. The AC did work well. The breakfast room was small & crowded and the food was mediocre. The best part of my room was that if you leaned out the window, you could see the Eiffel tower.

We had a really good and cozy time in this hotel, just a few minutes from the Sacre Coeur of Montmartre: it's a nice hotel, with a small square in front of it, far away from the hussle and the noise of the city, well fitted in a very nice neighborhood. The staff is very friendly, polite, kind and they really make you feel at ease, and the breakfast it's simply delicious, with a wide range of different products, all high-quality and tasty. The rooms are clean, they smell really nice, the beds are really comfortable and the view from the windows is breathtaking; they are also soundproof, so when you are inside the room you can easily sleep and rest without any bother.
