Welcome to Maison Astor Paris, a hidden gem on a peaceful street in the luxury and fashion district. Built in 1907 by John Jacob Astor IV, our hotel is thoughtfully designed for a stay that’s rich in history, Parisian chic and Astor’s spirit. Our charming hideaway is steps from Haute Couture shops on the world-famous Avenue des Champs-Élysées, a 10-minute metro ride to the Eiffel Tower, and near the Saint Lazare train station, the gateway to the Normandy region.

I'll start out by saying I'm a Hilton Honors Diamond Status member. So, I average well over 60-plus days a year at various Hilton Hotels, primarily on business.
This Hotel is by far the best Hotel I've stayed in. So, I'll start with what can be considered the worst to the best.
The Breakfast: It was your average warm breakfast buffet that you could compare what they had to serve to the majority of Hilton Hotels, but the food was good. The Service at the Breakfast was above excellent. They were always there to ensure you didn't have a dirty plate sitting around while you went for another plate. So, that pushed up the quality.
The Room: We stayed in a Roof Top Suit, which was VERY Clean. The staff made sure it was cleaned every day. I'll say I've stayed in equivalent rooms that were larger, BUT this is Paris, and in places like Paris, Rome, and Venice, this was actually a good-sized room. So, the size is not a complaint, more to let a person going to an older part of Paris know what to expect.
Location: You are just a 10-minute walk from Église Saint-Augustin de Paris, church. All the places of interest, like the Eifel Tower, were 40 minutes walk or less. Like the Louvre was a 25-minute walk, of course, my wife and I love to hike on weekends, we only took a Metro ticket once, and would recommend taking the bus over the Metro, as you can see more from the bus window. (When the day isn't busy. :-) )
Service: IF there was anything to complain about, and I really found no reason to complain, the friendly, helpful attitude of the staff would make up for it. Everyone was very professional. We went a couple of times to the Concierge, and the welcoming smile the gentlemen put on just made the experience even more welcoming.
As I said in the beginning, since 2014, I've been averaging 60+ days a year in a Hilton Brand Hotel. Okay, during COVID (Yes, I'm one of very few who was allowed to travel during COVID), I averaged 15 to 20 days.

Visited Paris for a long weekend, and stayed here. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street near to the Opera and Galeries Lafayette.
The lobby is fairly attractive; we were met by a young woman at the reception who seemed a bit awkward.
We were assigned our room, which APPEARED clean, and had a seal on the door. However, it reeked of the smell of dogs, especially near the bed; there were a couple of stains on the carpet. I brought it to the attention of reception who offered to change the room or have the housekeeper attend again, which seemed futile.
The room was a good size, overlooking the atrium, so quiet. The bathroom was spacious and utilitarian. One of each product of shampoo etc, and not enough towels.
The toilet had no door.
We chose to have breakfast there one morning which was not only AWFUL, but nothing less than extortionate, with the incompetent waiter charging for a coffee refill. The breakfast is not worth €5!
The Concierge, Stephane, was helpful.
Given the lockdown, one would think these establishments would have taken every step to perfect their services. It seemed stingy.
Other than a fairly good location, nothing special.

My wife had her 50th birthday in Paris in February 2020. We stayed at the Maison Astor Paris. The concierge team (Alexandre & Denis) along with the bell staff and everyone else at the hotel made this the greatest birthday ever. The concierge team provided champagne, red wine, chocolates, flowers in the room. They provide excellent suggestions for the room, dinner, shows, and lunch. They made the necessary reservations at great places to eat. The lunch at the Jules Verne restaurant at the Eiffel tower was a great 5 course meal. The reservation they made at the Moulin Rouge provided a great location for watching the show. As a Hilton member the hotel was nice enough to upgrade my room. The Valentines day breakfast was awesome. The variety of food and special treats were amazing. The hotel staff was nice enough to extend our stay by 1 day because we were having such a great time in Paris. We will be be visiting again in June.

We made a last minute decision to come to Paris not knowing if we would return to fourteen days quarantine. In the event none transpired and we were rewarded with six lovely nights in one of the finest Hilton hotels we have ever stayed in.
Day after day temperates close to 40° and the necessity of wearing a mask almost everywhere would not usually promise a great holiday but, thanks to the fantastic staff at The Maison Astor, that is what we had.
There is no detail overlooked in making the guest feel comfortable, from the priceless air conditioning, the spotless rooms and public area to the stunning breakfast.
We were made to feel special and hope to return in more normal circumstances. A big thank you to you all.

A memorable stay in one of the best boutique hotels I have stayed. Centrally located in a quiet upscale neighborhood with easy access to the Metro. Its design, decoration and general layout are flawless. Spotlessly clean throughout. All covid era protections are very well kept. Public areas (lobby, restaurant, bar, even the corridors , stairways and lifts extremely well designed and kept. All the personnel are very professional, polite and friendly. Breakfast (served at table in memorable surroundings ) was of high quality . Bar service also of high quality with full la full list . Concierge very helpful and knowledgeable. As a HHonors Diamond member was upgraded to a junior suite, quite spacious, very comfortable, impeccably designed, very well serviced and clean. In general, I would highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Paris, no matter if you are there on a romantic or family or business trip.

The hotel staff were very helpful (front desk, concierge, restaurant, housekeeping). The front desk brought us coffee while our room was ready (we arrive before noon), and the concierge always assisted with directions, suggestions, and a taxi to return to the airport.

The restaurant is very good. We had lunch and breakfast at the restaurant. The breakfast has a great variety – bacon/sausages, eggs, crepes, croissants, pastries, yogurt, cereals, jams, cheese, fruit, juices, coffee/espresso.

We reserved a rooftop terrace suite which was a nice size bedroom and living area. It had excellent views of the Eiffel Tower, top of Arc de Triomphe, the Basilica Sacre-Coeur, and the surrounding area (almost a 180 degree view from the balcony and views of other 180
degrees from the windows in the room and bathroom).

We arrived on a cold day (1C / 34F). The wall units struggled to heat the room. The hotel brought a mobile heating unit which addressed the issue.

The bathroom was very cold because it does not have a heating/AC unit or vent in the bathroom. We moved the mobile heating unit to address the problem. The height of the shower head was also a challenge -- I am 6 feet (1.9 meters) tall, and the shower head was only high enough to reach my chin.

The room service menu is limited – only sandwiches, pasta, and soup. I wish that the restaurant would be added to the room service menu.

We enjoyed a 3 day stay at the Maison Astor in October of 2021. This was our first trip to France post Covid and we were very pleased with our stay. Check in was a breeze with a super friendly host who walked us through the hotel, restaurant options and concierge desk. The room was had booked was on the 7th floor and spacious compared to previous rooms we have booked in Paris. The room had been cleaned/sanitized for Covid - the remote had a cleaning/protective covering, the coffee units were sealed in plastic packaging. We did not try the restaurant or bar on site so can't speak to it. We did interact with the concierge desk a few times and they were great. They helped us with finding a pharmacy for our covid tests and umbrellas during a rain shower. Overall a very pleasant stay and I would recommend the Maison Astor if you are looking for a charming historic hotel in Paris

The hotel is quaint as in "Curio", but the room was very nice and clean, the hotel was great location and only a 20-30 min walk to the Louvre (depending on how many high end shops you stop at along the way..:) All the high end stores are nearby. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful especially the head concierge Denis!! Kudos. He planned tours, trains, and even restaurants outside of Paris for us in Brussels. (over and above). The breakfast was excellent! We did not experience dinner there. Overall I look forward to returning to Paris again and would not hesitate to stay at Maison Astor again!!

We stayed for 2 nights, on arrival staff weren’t welcoming at all and didn’t come across as if they cared even a manager avoided eye contact when we saw her.

The first room allocated had a significant maintenance issue so we went down to reception and instead of offering a room move straight away, the girl suggested to send someone to fix it, not a good idea after arriving from a long trip. Not a great first impression and zero follow up from the management.

The second room was very small, the bedside tables were tiny like from a dolls house. No shower gel provided only shampoo. The space between the bed and desk was so small that it would prevent an easy scape in case of fire!

Room Service menu was very limited no burger or Club sandwich available, very strange.

A/C didn’t work properly and room was unbearably hot.

The worst part of the stay was the breakfast. Impersonal service, self service from a dark room including powder coffee, processed cheeses, rusted coffee pot, cheapest frozen croissants and pastries (in Paris?), fruit bowl containing 6 limes and lemons.

Overall the breakfast was very poor, no attention to detail, run by disengaged agency staff who were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving paying customers.

I raised my concerns with the same girl who checked us in and she couldn’t care less. Hilton “Make it right” principle not in practice.

This hotel is very dark, the busy furniture and lack of A/C made it worse.

Concierge staff saw us passing by many times and were just looking at their screens rather that acknowledging our presence.

It appears many people staying there were redeeming Hilton loyalty points, if you pay full price you would be very disappointed.

Dear travelgeek1982, Thank you very much for taking the time to address your concerns following your stay with us. First of all allow me to extend my sincerest apologies for not ensuring a memorable stay while under our care. At Maison Astor Paris, our guests satisfaction is truly important to us and I was sorry to hear we failed you. We totally understand that not having the amenities you should have needed from housekeeping created a great discomfort and I would like to apologize for this inconvenience. I would also like to take the opportunity to inform that our Front desk team contacted our technical colleagues in order to avoid a room move which can include discomfort in packing and unpacking I am sorry this was perceived differently. Of course when our guests prefer to change rooms we do our utmost to realise its wishes. Having a continuity in the standard of our service is essential to us and I won’t miss the chance to discuss about your experience with the management team so that we can improve in the services offered to our guests. We really hope you will visit us in the future so that we can show you that this is not at all the kind of service we pride ourselves in offering to each and every guest. Sincerely,

We had a 1 night stay before our flight out of Paris. We needed a good sleep begore our 25 hour flight and we got it. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room very comfortable and dinner in the bar was delicious. We are Vegan and often find it hard to dine out in Paris but no problem here, we were offered dinner off menu when they heard motjing on their menu suited. The vege dish we had was so good we dont understand why its not on the menu! Breakfast was simple but fresh and deliscoius and the staff in all areas were efficient, friendly and very aware of Covid19 safety proceedures. Really look forward to staying again for a few nights o n our return to France. Thanks guys a'bientot. .

While I have stayed on the 7th floor I'm not certain if it was the same suite that you described. Each of the rooms are varied in layout because the original manor/home/maison was converted to the Hilton Curio, so they cut up the space differently from floor to floor and from one side to the other. What I can assure you of is that the rooms are well furnished, well laid out and you will be able to navigate just fine with your family. Also, please note my error in the original posting: it is Arr 8, not 5. I wish you a pleasant journey!
