The only place we’ve ever stayed In Paris and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We like the triple room with the courtyard view. We had one issue while we were there and they handled it with total class. We are night owls given the wonderful nightlife in Paris and thanks especially to Thomas and Fou for putting up with our late nights. We enjoyed talking to you even know you might have wanted to sleep or had work to do. We love this hotel so much. I will never stay anywhere else. Truly classy staff

Le Relais du Louvre is in a convenient central location, next to the Louvre and easy walking distance from Ile de la Cité and many other sights as well as a tourism bureau and several Metro stops. Hotel staff members are very accommodating and knowledgeable. They gave us great recommendations and provided a car service with excellent drivers who knew how to avoid traffic snarls to and from the airport. As the hotel has had problems with its elevator, it may not be a good choice for guests who are mobility impaired.

Dear Sir, Dear Madam, Thank you very much for your comment. I am very happy to read that you enjoyed your stay with us. We do have a problem with our elevator right now : there is one floor (and one floor only) where our elevator doesn't go : the fifth floor. We are doing our best in order to fix this problem as soon as possible. Best regards, Adeline

My family of five and my father stayed at the Relais du Louvre for six nights. We had adjoining rooms with our children (who each had their own bed!) and my father had a single room to himself. The rooms were small but well appointed with comfy beds, plenty of closet space and in room refrigerators. We did not choose to have breakfast because there were many restaurants close by, but did have coffee delivered to the room almost daily. The location could not have been more convenient for the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Seine, Tuileries Garden and so much more. We even walked back from our visit to the Eiffel Tower. There are 3 metro stops very close for adventures not within walking distance. The staff at the hotel spoke beautiful English and were so incredibly helpful with things like directions, how to use the metro, advice on daily activities, and dinner reservations. We were even treated to a celebratory bottle of champagne. We needed covid tests to return home and we were sent to a pharmacy around the corner and the tests were ready within 30 minutes. The cleanliness of the hotel would be hard to surpass and we were pleased to find that they were servicing the rooms daily. We all agree that this hotel was a big part of the reason our recent trip was such a success. If we ever find ourselves lucky enough to be in Paris again, we will return.

The hotel is cozy, comfortable and well-situated to take advantage of the metro and to walk to many places of interest. The rooms are on the small side, but nicely furnished, impeccably clean with all the important amenities. The breakfast is one of the best I've had in a hotel, with many quality choices of food and beverage. We reserved a parking space, through the hotel, in the nearby garage and access and departure was very very easy. This is our hotel of choice when in Paris.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Our location is indeed particularly convenient in a quiet street but right in the middle of everything. We pay attention to the quality of our breakfast and order the fresh croissants and breads directly by a famous baker in the area. The orange juice is fresh pressed and the coffee 80% arabica and 20% Robusta (my favorite 😊) We hope to have the pleasure in welcome you again soon.

We shared a room three of us friends for the weekend. Like I said above, the hotel is in an excellent location near the Louvre and all major landmarks are easily accessible. The hotel room was OK size but it felt a little crammed when we tried to have breakfast in the room together (the hotel doesn't have a breakfast room). The room can take up to four people so I am not sure how it would be comfortable enough for four. The toilet door was impossible to close as it was too close to the toilet itself. Anyone tall would even find it hard to exit the toilet as the door is also too close to the wall. We asked for separate beds which was confirmed by reception however when we arrived two beds were still pushed together so we had to push them apart ourselves. There were only two bathrobes and two wine glasses in the room even though they knew there were three of us in the room. Breakfast was OK but due to having to have it in the room it was what we had to pre-order the night before and obviously no second helpings or re-fills of orange juice. Overall it was a good stay but I find that the size of the room and the services offered were a bit pricey for nearly €600 per night.

Dear Mrs Corr, I thank you very much for taking the time to send a review about our hotel. These comments help us understanding our guest’s wishes and we often change some of our procedures thanks to these remarks. I am sorry we did not realize upon arrival you were 3 adults persons in the room. In fact, this family room is often rather booked by families with 2 children and this is why we only put 2 bathrobes and 2 wine glasses but from now on, this is something we will add in our procedure. When the room is booked for adults person, we will make sure, our guests find in the room the correct number of bathrobes, slippers and wine glasses. When people ask for twin beds, we use to prepare the beds separately from each other but we don’t push them away from each other as we also have many couples who want the beds to be prepared as twin beds but not necessarily to be away from each other. In any case, never hesitate to ask for special organization once you discover the room. Almost everything is possible once we know your wish 😊. . Concerning breakfast, you can ask for whatever you want. It is a pity you did not ask for more juice or for more whatever you like. We serve the regular breakfast according to the questions we ask the night before but of course, is it always possible to have more or something different. I guess we should add this information upon check too but there are so many things we already have to ask for such as ID, credit card details, email address and also many information we want to give to make our guest’s stay easier that we try to make it as short as possible. Anyhow, again thank you for your remarks because we will be very careful now when we have adults rather than children in this family room and it won’t happen again.

I've been a visitor to Paris for nearly a lifetime. Twenty seven times over the course of 61 years to be exact. During those years, I've called 19 hotels, from two to five stars rated, located in most districts of the city, my base. None has been more comfortable or welcoming as Hotel Le Relais du Louvre.
Here you will find your Paris home not only to be in a superb location for whatever direction your explorations of this incredible city take you, but an intimate, stylish, impeccably maintained address.
The short, less frequented street on which the Relais is located is only a block away from the River Seine, Pont Neuf and the Museé du Louvre, yet is relatively free of traffic both during the day and night.
Long time manager, Sophie Aulnette, sees to it that the smallest details from real, fresh squeezed orange juice with your breakfast to fine quality bedding are not overlooked.
But nothing shines more brightly than the staff of Le Relais du Louvre. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable, your hosts tend to your needs and well being as the valued guests you are. Return at a later time and you will be welcomed as a family friend. It's why some guests find themselves crossing paths with other prior guests year after year.
For anyone wishing to submerge themselves in the true Parisian experience while enjoying maximum comfort and convenience, I can see no better place to stay than Hotel Le Relais du Louvre.

We stayed 4 nights at Le Relais Du Louvre. The hotel is in great location and we were at the attic room on the top floor with a view of the Louvre. The room was small but intelligently designed. While we couldn't stand straight underneath the slanted part of the ceiling but the skylight provided lights and the view of the Louvre. We wanted to stay closest to Louvre and the Seine River, but the price was steep at $300/night. It could be a buyer's remorse for the US travelers compared to the price and value received in the United States. However, it's the price of the location you pay for. The hotel was very clean. Last but not the least, the lady who managed the customer service desk in the morning was super nice, efficient, courteous, and well versed in English.

I absolutely loved my stay at Le Relais du Louvre! Sophie really knows how to run a fantastic lodging. Staff were extremely professional and helpful throughout my stay, happy to answer any questions I may have had or requests I made. The rooms are small, but this is the center of Paris and you cannot expect a large room. Regardless of the size of the room, everything was spaced wonderfully, and the space was utilized to its maximum effectiveness. Absolutely spotless, not a hint of dust or mold, and the most lovely fragrance wafting through my room! Very quiet at night, absolutely no street noise. You have a metro stop steps from the front door for easy transportation around the city, plus wonderful shopping and dining options all around. Breakfast was served in the room at a requested time. This was wonderful because it saved me time, instead of having to wake up and go down to a breakfast room, I was able to roll out of bed just as breakfast was brought to me! Great selection of pastries, fruit, ham, cheese, and yogurt. Simple, but hearty and filling. I would happily stay here again!

We stayed in the suite which is essentially two rooms that have a common corridor that an outside door can be locked. The rooms were small which was to be expected. Location was perfect. Get the breakfast. It was convenient and worth the price. There was a mature woman that checked us in and she was exceptionally helpful regarding restaurant suggestions and reservations.

Thank you very much for your review. I am glad to read that you enjoyed your stay at the Relais du Louvre. All our staff have been working here for many years so they know very well the area and are always happy to give advises and tips to our guests. The location of our hotel is great : we are in the middle of Paris, with many restaurants, cafés and brasseries around, waking distance from many touristy places such as the Louvre museum, the Orsay museum, Notre Dame, close to public transportation ; but in a small and quiet street. I am glad you enjoyed your breakfast in the room. All our bread and bakeries come from a small bakery near the hotel so everything is fresh. We have selected fresh and, as much as possible, organic food to provide to our guests a plentiful and healthy breakfast. I hope we will see you again at the Relais du Louvre.

The staff and accommodations were first rate. Every effort was made to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Sophie sketched maps for us to better find our way on public transportation around Paris. Frédérique gave us historical insights to the locale which was very interesting and not covered by our guide books. The breakfast delivered to our room each morning was delicious, well prepared and very punctual. Many iconic sights are an easy walk from the hotel. We loved our stay at Hotel Relais du Louvre!

I am afraid not. All rooms have a minibar with soft drinks, snacks but also nice white, red and rosé wines as well as champagne. We do offer a room service in the evening for diner. As you imagine, since we are located right in the middle of the city, there are many beautiful restaurants and bars very close by.
