Cute small room, not a street view. On a market street that does not have cars parked everywhere. Picture perfect atmosphere that has almost anything you need. 10 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. The location was safe and the employees were kind and helpful. Plan on 38 euros a day

I stumbled on to this hotel while I was researching my trip. I stayed at Grand Hotel Leveque for a week and it was just right! It was in a great, safe location, and I enjoyed the fact that it was on a pedestrian only street. There was everything I needed close by: 2 metros,

This hotel is a great location for a great price. There are tons of restaurants and local shops within a 3 minute walk including places to buy museum passes. The subway is a 3-5 minute walk. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and enjoy the great location and wonderful staff. Crepe guy across the Rue for breakfast, a short walk to the Eiffle Tower, easy to exit the subway and walk a short distance to the hotel are just a few of the great things about this hotel.

Love this hotel for its location. It is charming, classic french walk-up hotel. Our room was tiny, but this is not uncommon for this type of location. My familiy has stayed here 3 times, primarily for its location on charming Rue Cler and easy access to Eiffel Tower, Metro

Taxis have a set price to the airport. From this hotel it's 55 euros. If you're travelling alone, you could save money on a shuttle service, but it will take longer since they usually have multiple stops. In my opinion, a taxi is worth a little more money. Uber also has a set fee, which I believe is the same as the taxis. After a harrowing ride on a shuttle service, I'll never do that again. I won't go into detail here, but I'll just say I should have gotten out and took a taxi.

It doesn't provide transport but was able to set up transport. I ended up taking a taxi which was more than I wanted to pay, but I believe there are cheaper options if you plan ahead. I think I payed around 100 Euros.

Which airport is nearest the hotel and can you travel from the airport easily on public transport?
Geraldine, On our first trip to Paris from the US we flew into CDG. We took the RER (train) into Paris. Then we got on the subway (Metro) at the train station. We had to change subways 2 times to get to Rue Cler. Taking luggage on the subway was a mistake. Hard to get through gates with luggage, standing room only, etc. I do not recommend the train UNLESS..you take to train from the airport to Paris and then a taxi to the hotel. I would avoid the subway with luggage. Our next trip 2 years later, I scheduled a shuttle van. BAD idea. There were 4 other couples on the shuttle and we were the last ones to get to Rue Cler. We rode around Paris for almost 2 hours. I don't recommend the shuttle. In 2016 we again flew to CDG. We now take a taxi from the airport to Hotel Leveque. It cost a little more but is much easier. To me, this is the best way from CDG to the hotel Leveque. This past September we took the kids along to London and to see Harry Potter. We then took the High speed train from London to Paris and then the taxi to Hotel Leveque. I believe you are in England...You might want to check the High speed train to Paris. We think it is much easier than flying to Paris from London. No big airport hassles. I believe the train stops at Gare du nord. (North train station). Hope this information and our mistakes will help you. Let me know if you have any other questions I might be able to help with. Erich

"Good location, but be sure to ask for a room overlooking Rue Cler"
"Was in room 20, with a view of the alley. But I'm not in Paris to look out the window...."
"If you want a street view choose the front. For a balcony choose the 5th floor in the front. We were in 52"
"The lift is tiny so a room on one of the lower floors as you may be using the stairs a lot."
"Rooms on the 5th floor, street site, do have a view. Back rooms not special."
