First time in a hostel. The price and the location was excellent. But 8 people mixed in a room seems a tiny bit too much. Luckily i had no luggage and i only needed to sleep. The first night it was just me and 2 others (one of them completely drunk wasted). The second night it was a full room. The same drunk guy created a menice once he enterred the room but in 15 minutes he was asleep.

Maybe check who you let into the hostel - a tiny population filter would help and secondly maybe add a towel as an amenity per person. Would improve the quality of the hostel.

For the rest it was all good! The location and price and vibe are your unique selling points! Good job. Will consider again in the future.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, the room I occupied was clean and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate three people, there were toilet paper and shampoo but no hairdryer and towels. However, this shortcoming did not significantly detract from my overall experience.

The beds were comfortable, the only small downside was the pillows, which were a little too small for my personal taste.

One aspect that I particularly appreciated is the attention to detail regarding the lighting and sockets near each bed. Each bed had its own light, which was extremely convenient, and the presence of USB and traditional sockets made it easy to charge electronic devices.

The hotel's location is an undisputed strong point, being close to the subway and a supermarket. This convenience was particularly useful during my short stay, making it easier to travel and stock up on any necessities.

The only "flaw" found was the thinness of the walls, which made it possible to hear noises coming from the adjacent room, in particular a child crying on the upper floor. However, this did not have a significant impact on the overall quality of my stay.

I didn't have the opportunity to use the shared bathrooms, kitchen or common spaces during my short stay, but their presence adds value for those planning to spend more time at the property.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for young travellers. The combination of a convenient location, cozy rooms and reasonable rates makes it an ideal choice for those looking for a pleasant, no-frills stay.

Nice atmosphere and staff
Events and varied activities in the evening
Nice place and dormitory, breakfast is good.
The place is modern, can be both calm and dynamic. The roof top, although small, is a very pleasant place.

It's a shame that the cleanliness of the shared toilets is a little neglected, one visit per day does not seem enough to me
Or we should leave users with the means to do a makeshift cleaning (squeegees, mop, sponges, etc.) so that the place does not turn into a municipal swimming pool between two visits by cleaning staff.
Same for bath linen, 4 euros for a towel is too much, for a kit with a large towel and a mat to put on the floor it would be more suitable
Finally, the trash cans have no bags or lids, which bothered me when I saw some of the waste in the women's bathroom trash can.

I've had a wonderful time here. The staff was so incredibly friendly and always up for a chat. I felt so insecure about my french and had a very bad experience at the airport but at the hostel they made me feel right at home and never gave me a hard time or anything about switching to English when I ran out of words to say. The beds are comfortable and while every once in a while there will be another guest who acts a little inconsiderate, you can't stay grumpy with all the awesome people working there. It was my very first time in a place like this and I was unsure about mixed dorms before but I've always felt safe and knew there'd always be someone to talk to, if anything came up. I will be coming back for sure. Jo and Joe's is pure bliss. I even met super nice people to give me all kinds of fun tips for my trip. The bathrooms are very clean never crowded. The location is amazing as well. You have everything one could need right there. A Metro Station that takes you right into the heart of the city, a bigger station just around the corner, plenty of boulangeries with mouthwatering offers as well as several well stocked supermarkets in case you did forget to pack something or (as in my case) your suitcase takes a little longer than you to arrive. There's even a very cheap laundromat down the street to wash and dry clothing if needed. The post office across the street is also very convenient for stamps, cause while they tell you every tabak store sells them, they really don't. There's also a lot going on in the lobby area. The live music was charming, the drinks are very affordable and the food they offer is divine. The rooftop is a highlight in and of itself. I was there all by myself but never felt lonely or out of place. Thank you so very much for making my trip to Paris as awesome as it was. I was so devastated when my luggage was lost on my way there but you guys saved the day and made my week so very relaxed and comfortable. I unfortunately didn't get to take one of their supposedly amazing city tours since I didn't know they offered them and had very busy mornings planned beforehand but I will make damn sure to take part in one next time I stay there! You guys rock!

We traveled to Paris for the Paralympics with our Autistic son. The Jo & Joe Paris Nation was a fantastic hub for our stay. Really close to the nearest Metro made it perfect for connecting to sights across the city. The staff were fun, friendly and put us all at ease. We had a private room for three which was clean, comfortable and well laid out. Despite being in a busy hostel we heard hardly anything from other residents and we traveled during a hot period so the air conditioning was very welcome.
After busy days travelling around the city our son needed a comfortable space and some familiarity so we chose to eat most mornings and evenings in the hostel, the food was tasty and great value. Free WiFi and chargers by each bed meant we could connect and make the best of our trip. We have plans to travel in other cities across Europe and we've already started looking to see if there is a Jo & Joes. Fab hostel, cant recommend it enough!!

8-bed shared-room with modern bunks (orientable reading light, 2 USB connectors, privacy screens on lower bunks). Great showers. Restaurant/bar/lounge on ground floor very comfortable and cosy (nice and warm inside on a freezing winter's day). Staff friendly and helpful.

Strategic location close to the metro stop.
Very colorful and well-kept Hostel, with particular attention to separate collection and waste reduction.
Our room had three wooden beds, with storage drawer underneath, and private bathroom. Each bed is equipped with a light, storage pocket and electric plug. In the bathroom there are bottles on the wall with soap for sink and shower.
Inside the property there is a bar/restaurant on the ground floor and a rooftop bar. There is also a shared kitchen equipped to cook and consume meals independently, and to store their own labeled food in the refrigerator.
Sweet and savoury self-service breakfast.
Youthful and friendly staff.

Actually i was not happy to be there for a reasons :
This reasons i‘m talking about comparing with other hostels as the same price .
1) Very Poor breakfast , and long waiting time on the queue .
2) i have ordered an iron and they told me there is no iron .
3) there are no lights in the room and i always using the flash phone of mine even in the afternoon .
4) 3 times during 20 hours there was no paper toilet in the toilet , and i go to the reception to put some toilet paper which she really did it immediately and she apologised to me ,i would thank her .
5) normally there is always a towel in the other hostels but there was no , i have asked the reception for a towel , she said 4 Euro sir , i said whaaaat ,,even that the towel is to bad quality and i don‘t know if they washed or not because there was a smell , i took it but i didn‘t use it .
6) in room 101 first floor , thers is a heavy sound i don’t know what was it ,which we get up 3-4 times between 12am and 6:00am and it was super high sound .

Hello Abdallah, thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry you didn't like the breakfast. It is a buffet with juices, coffee, tea, bread, croissant, ham cheese, tomatoes, cucumber and a fruit salad. We are sorry you had to wait, we were full for your last night here. Indeed there is no iron available. As for the towel we rent some for 4euros at the reception desk. They are included only in private rooms. New clean towels are delivered every day at the reception desk for you to have fresh towels. We are sorry about the lighting in the room, it is unfortunately the same lighting in every room and it is a matter of design but we will work on it to improve ourselves. We apologise for the lack of toilet paper, we will work even closer with our housekeeping team for that not to happen again. After checking with our technician we found no technical problem in this room or on level 1, we didn't find the source of the high sound. We still hope you had a good time in Paris. Have a nice day. Lauren

The accommodation is close to a metro station, which was a big factor in choosing this hotel, not to mention the price! The staff is multilingual, welcoming and there to help you if necessary. The living spaces are clean, the toilets too and the showers are pleasant to use.

I had a "woman only" dormitory room which is spacious, the beds are wide and the bedding comfortable. It is possible to have privacy even if there are several people in the room thanks to blackout blinds.

The accommodation is very well soundproofed and well thought out. The on-site catering is convenient and you can access the rooftop to enjoy your meal or have a drink.

I am really very satisfied with my stay and I would not hesitate to come back!

My stay there went absolutely great !
Everything was very clean which was very appreciable, especially the showers (except for the traditionnal gifts left by my fellow travellers such as hair). The room was also quite big, which really surprised me. I also really appreciated the cosy room with a fridge and microwave put to our disposal, very useful and practical for those who stay for quite a long time and who can't afford to go the restaurant every night.
Finally, everyone working there was absolutely nice and was always happy to answer our questions.

Was there anything negative?
My only negative thought goes to the fact that I was on the top bed in my shared room. In a general way, they are WAY less convenient than the lower beds. It wouldn't have bothered me if I had stayed for a day or two, but I stayed for an entire week and it became quite tiring.
- In the lower beds you have this kind of screen you can pull that is very opaque to isolate yourself ,so you can't see the light outside of your little "bubble". There is absolutely nothing to hide yourself from the light in the top beds, (added to the fact that the lights are about 30 cm over your head).
- It also bothered me to constanly go back and forth on the little ladder everytime I wanted to do something. Again it wouldn't have bothered me for a day or two, but a week is way longer.

Overall my stay was really cool, thanks guys !!
