We spent 6 nights at room #501 in mid September 2021,the reservation was made through Agoda. Our first impression when entered the (premium) room was that it looked smaller than in published pictures and indeed it was very small. I checked the mandatory floor plan located in every door as evacuation information and our room was among the "biggest" of that floor. I was curious and as frequent travelers, we always carry a handheld luggage weight and a measurement tape that I used to measure all the spaces, the total room size was 16.41 m2 including spaces occupied by walls, the door alley ,the closet, the bathroom and the window(they advertise 18 m2); for example the main area where the bed(180cm X 200cm) is located ,measures 325cm X 300 cm which is just 9.75 m2(approximately 107 square feet). There is barely space for the small tables 1 small couch and to walk around it, my wife had to unpack her whole suitcase and put it inside the closet because it was impossible to keep it outside as we do in every hotel. When she was standing up I had to be at the bed and vice versa. The bathroom has the minimum space for one normal person at the sink or the toilet with a wall in the middle, the shower is bigger but incredibly there is nothing to place the soap or shampoo that needed to be placed at the shower floor so the user has to bend over and stand up back and forth while showering, by the way the rain shower is delicious, strong and hot enough and the there were nice bathroom amenities available .I have to mention that since we mostly used the stairs to be fit, we had the opportunity to see for a moment ,from outside another room when it was cleaned by the housekeeper ,the #306 and it was much smaller than ours with a tiny double bed. My point is that I am very aware of the room sizes in Paris but the pictures made me to expect something bigger, in fact I dismissed other properties because of that. The air conditioner worked perfectly and all in all we had a very good sleep regardless the soundproof works perfect from outside but not too much from the alley. The area carpet below the bed should be cleaned since it is stained. The wifi is strong but it was unavailable in room for almost two days since they were waiting for the technician ,in the meantime they provided a login information at the lobby. The hotel is nicely decorated and is also in very good condition, the lobby area is beautiful, the staff in general is very kind and serviceable although I had a brief conversation with the lady manager, regarding the needed shower fixture and felt that she did not took it very seriously. We never tried the breakfast because of the jet lag and also wanted to keep those calories for other French preferences.
Finally, we liked very much the location and give an applause for the use of non-plastic water bottles that are complimentary provided .

Stayed for a short city break with my partner. Very friendly and helpful welcome. Clean and stylish interior. Small but very pleasant room, we were on fifth floor facing street but traffic noise was not a problem. Good continental breakfast served in the “cellar” restaurant. A little more guidance at breakfast would have been useful e.g. how to use toaster, coffee machine etc? Would definitely recommend and will hopefully return!

We spent several nights in this charming little hotel decorated in a classic, old-world style. First of all, I learned in my 2 weeks in Paris that I need to always ask for a courtyard view room (as opposed to a street facing room). This hotel has a sweet, verdant courtyard and I was envious of the rooms that faced it. Ours was on the street and a little noisy. But we live and learn as we travel, right? We peeked into the other rooms as they were being cleaned, and learned that some are a bit larger, some a bit smaller. I will specifically ask for a larger, courtyard room next time. And there will be a next time because the service here was GREAT. Our main concierge, Monsieur Laurent, was personable, helpful, available and we liked him so much! My husband came down with a cold on the 3rd day there and he helped me find medication and pointed me toward places with hot soup to go. On the weekend there was a different concierge (I cannot recall his name) and he treated me and my special requests for my sick husband with efficient TLC. I so much appreciated him! Paris hotel rooms are (for the most part) tiny. This room was a little larger than others we experienced in our 2 week vacation. Lovely decor. The shower head was full and strong ( a big deal for me), but, as we also noted in Italy, Paris hotels don't really know how to design a shower that keeps the floor dry. Such an odd little detail. Overall we found this hotel was just lovely and I am recommending that my sister and her family stay here when they visit in February. Close to a lovely walkable market street, lovely fountain courtyard, many many many restaurants and cafes. Simply a great choice for a stay in this lovely, compelling city. Thank you, Monsieur Laurent and staff. Your warm hospitality made our visit memorable.

Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Sits in a quiet area in the Latin Quarter, minutes walk from Rue Mouffetard with bars and restaurants aplenty. Buses run from across the road, nearest Metro 7-8 minutes walk. We had a warm welcome from the gent on reception and a good recommendation for our first night restaurant choice, thankyou! Rooms on the small side but presume that might be the norm in Paris? Breakfast was very nice, served in the cave in the basement. All in all everything was just as we wanted and would use again next time we visit.

A very nice hotel with rooms larger than most Paris hotels.

The staff are very professional. Breakfast is served below the ground floor and has sufficient variety before starting on your sightseeing.

The hotel is close to many restaurants and we ate a couple of times at Les Baux de Paris, which is fully recommended.

The hotel is situated relatively near a metro station, which is easy to
navigate.

Lovely hotel in a great location – Paris Latin Quarter. Chap on reception was very welcoming and gave us a great tip about heading to Rue Mouffetard (oldest street in Paris) which is a buzy area of cafés, restaurants and shops. Hotel was an easy walk to major attractions if you like a walk but also easy to get to the Metro.

Our room was very small but cosy. Didn't matter too much as we were out and about most of the time. Comfy bed with a choice of pillows. We were on the 6th floor and it was very quiet. We headed to Rue Mouffetard for breakfast so can't comment on that but they had a water dispenser in the reception area which meant we could top up our water bottles for the day.

A wonderful stay at this unique and characterful hotel. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, especially the lovely gentleman on the front desk. The breakfast was buffet style and everything was fresh and tasty. Adjacent to the reception is a small lounge area which is nice to relax in when you arrive back, especially when the weather is hot outside. There was complimentary fresh fruit and water available as well as newspapers. The bedrooms were comfortable. The air conditioning was cool, modern and and effective without being too loud. It was a few changes on the metro to get to the main attractions but worth traveling for such a nice place to stay.

We loved this little gem ! The view into the courtyard was charming and so French. The Staff were gorgeous, especially Laurent - Adorable. Yes the rooms are small but this is Paris - small but beautifully presented and comfortable. I liked the location - away from the madding crowd but close enough to everything we wanted to visit. Loved this little Hotel. Thank you for taking care of us ! And for mailing my iPad back to Australia for me Laurent.

What a superb home away from home! All the staff was accommodating, enthusiastic, friendly and welcoming. Virgil and Joao constantly wore smiles and went beyond expectations. The hotel felt homey and has a garden with an abundance of plants and tables. It was a divine get away at the end of the day for wine and a daily recap with friends. This was a tremendous perk to leave the room without leaving the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area away from the hectic chaos. Cafes and a small store were steps away. I highly recommend this special boutique hotel for those who appreciate the above mentioned features. P J Coley
