Recently stayed for 4 nights with my partner. The staff were all very helpful and friendly - we had a problem with our room key not working and they went over and above to make sure we were not inconvenienced. The hotel is also very close to plenty of excellent restaurants, cafes and bars as well as metro stations to take you wherever you need to be.

Would say, however, that the hotel is quite noisy at night with doors slamming. I actually think a lot of it is the wardrobe doors in other peoples bedrooms being closed! Towels and bedsheets very clean, however, I do think the standard of cleanliness elsewhere in the room could have been higher. There were soap scum marks in our shower and sink on our arrival. However, as a base to get a sleep and a shower on a busy city break, this place was great and would stay again.

We just got back from 2 nights in this hotel (21/6/2022) and personally thought this was a great hotel.
It’s in a good location, especially with a Metro (underground) station near by which will take you to the attractions like the Eiffel Tower etc.
The staff are extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk to, and very informative about Paris.
The only thing I would say is the room wasn’t very clean, apart from the bed sheets and towels. But 2 nights in the room, I wasn’t overly bothered since we were out exploring the city anyway.
All in all a great little hotel in my opinion.

The hotel is pretty rundown, although I will say the reception area is clean. No coffeemaker in the room! Virtually no amenities. Skip the breakfast, it's pretty bleak, and not quite as good as you'd expect from a 3 star, in my experience and the throbbing euro techno is pretty unpleasant pre and post coffee. My bathroom had a pretty bad mold problem though the room was overall very tidy. The staff are very nice and the location is good for walking, just 10 minutes walk to the Louvre. There are a lot of street closures in the area as it's a little tiny alley often blocked by construction and delivery vehicles, so getting an uber or car can be difficult. If you're paying less then $150 a night and want to walk, then it's a decent deal. Safe and reasonably clean overall.

The room is small , the toilet is even much smaller. Anyway, we were out most of the time, the size did not bother us too much . But the hygiene standard is high , the bedsheets and surroundings were spotlessly clean. We were very happy with this. But what bothered us was the noise coming from the street and also the way the room doors are designed . The doors need to be slammed in order to be shut , as a result, this adds to the noise. The reception service was very friendly and helpful. On the whole , the experience was pleasant except for the noise during the night.

Small boutique hotel Hotel is situated on a small alley. However the location is superb.
Convenient to the famous Opera, 5 minutes walk to Lafayette and shopping areas. Many food outlets.
Yet, is very quiet and peaceful.
Near super market.
Rooms are nice size with a small sitting area. Has a beautiful bath and toilet. Love it.
Wifi is good and adequate.

Reception is friendly and helpful. Speaks English, French and Spanish. Perhaps more languages, though I do not.

Wonderful hotel. Brilliant location, really nice rooms, staff were lovely. Stayed for three nights and had such an amazing time. Loads of restaurants nearby and really easy to get to all the main attractions in Paris. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again

Amazing little hotel in a prime location in Paris with just about everything is within walking distance. Located on a quiet side street which was nice in the evening to sleep. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Tons of cafes and bistros around the area to eat at. Definitely recommend for stay in the city and will be back when I return to Paris. 5/5

We just came back from our 5-night stay at the Icone hotel in Paris. We had a very pleasent stay. The rooms are quite small, but nice and clean. The staff is friendly and the locaiton is very good, close to the Metro and lots of stores and restaurants. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning, it was good but a little expensive (12 Euro per person). The hotel offers free wi-fi, and it actually works compared to many other hotels I've visited. I would recommend this hotel if you're going to Paris.

Unfortunately we got very lost on our way to the hotel, none of the Parisians seemed to know where this street was but after about an hour of walking around we found it!
the rooms were clean, bathroom even better.
dont have a bad thing to say about this hotel, will definitely return!

I am so sorry that you had difficulties in finding ICONE's street, so that is true that we are situated in a small street, just behind grand boulevards... But it is also a big advantage for peace and serenity during your nights (as you were able to notice it) and this, right in the heart of Paris ! For next time do not hesitate to call us and we shall easily know how to guide you, according to your position.... Anne-Sophie ROLLAND (0033)142.975.626

Probably the only reason I will return to this hotel is the location. Really great restaurants close by. Otherwise, I would suggest you pick somewhere else. Room is decent in size. BUT...it is not as big as picture looks and the size it mentioned in description when I book. The washroom is pretty small even if we stay in a superior room. So don't know how small in a standard room. Amenities are really minimal (almost no amenities). Not even hangers in the closet. People please bring your own shampoo and shower gel as the hotel only gives u one 30ml bottle (not each type but one all in 1) out of our 3 nights stay share between two people. I have never experienced this in ANY hotel before.

Dear Guest, Many thanks to take time and share your experience at hotel Icône. We would like to clarify that all our rooms are at the Parisian standard sizes for each category. Regarding the amenities in the bathroom, you should ask the front desk open 24h/24 to have more shampoo, shower gel or soap. All our team is at the entire disposal of the guest to make them a good stay and to solve the little problems like this. We hope that we will have the pleasure to welcome you again to try to change your opinion on our services. Best regards.

Hi how do I get to the hotel from CDG airport using the metro/train? Thank you :)
Answer from Frédéric S
clichy6 contributions9 helpful votes
dear Miss Lorel, It is quiet easy to reach us from CDG Airport. You have 3 solutions : 1) ROISSY BUS : 11€ per person, till OPERA. Then either you walk (about 15 minutes) or use the metro – one station only – Line 8 (Direction : CRETEIL) from OPERA to "RICHELIEU DROUOT" Station 2) TRAIN RER B from CDG to “GARE DU NORD” change : About 10€ per person, Then change for the Metro: Line 4 (Direction : MONTROUGE) from Gare du Nord till “Strasbourg St Denis” change + Line 9 (Direction : Pont de Sèvres) from “Strasbourg St Denis” station to “Richelieu- Drouot” STOP 3) TAXI -> the easiest way (‘official’ waiting line outside the airport) : max 60€ DEPENDING ON TRAFFIC Looking Forward to welcome you at ICONE

Yes, it does albeit not to the top floor. That top floor is one room but requires a stair climb after the elevator. All other floors can be accessed by the elevator.

Hi, I've only ever flown into CDG as my Air France flight doesn't take me direct to Orly, however, directions from the CDG is really well signposted and so easy to navigate. Final destination if you are staying at Hotel Icone would be the Richelieu Drouot as it is only about 5 minutes walk away. Enjoy!
