Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighbourhood where real Parisians make their homes.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Zurich. We had booked a junior suite which was huge and comfortable with a baby. Most of all, what stood out for me was the kindness of the gentleman at the reception ! He was always kind and cheerful . Easy to strike a conversation with

This is a little gem of a hotel in a superb location. The room I had was bijou but well thought out with some lovely touches. The lift was small but effective. I didn’t sample the breakfast but it looked good and popular and it is good to have a mini bar, safe and tea and coffee

Despite being very attractive and a stone's throw from the Place de la Bastille, this didn't seem like a very Parisian hotel: the rooms aren't expensive (I booked direct with the hotel and paid less than the price listed in the hotel itself), my friend's room was certainly not

Unfortunately neither my husband nor I remember, but we remember it being reasonable ($30-40 ?? For both of us). Much much cheaper than a taxi. Yes the concierge arranged it. I would schedule it at the beginning of your stay.

Hi Kate, No it wasn't between 6 - 9 June2015 and I don't recall seeing anything about to be major construction. It's tucked away off a Main Street on a 1 car wide side street so also misses traffic noise or our room certainly did. We thought that for a 3 star hotel it ticked all the boxes for that grading and we would genuinely stay again if coming into that side of Paris. Hope this helps, enjoy your stay wherever you decide.
