Standing at an unconventional spot of the upper 9th district, the Joyce Hotel is ideally located at the crossroads of the theater district, Place St-Georges, and the "hot-spots" of the fashionable South-Pigalle neighborhood. Meticulously decorated by Philippe Maidenberg, with nods to inevitable Parisian monuments, our hotel will seduce you with its comfort and bold design. Luxury car furniture recycled as improvised seats, inverted Eiffel Tower, delicate tromple-l'oeil paintings around beds, breakfast with bio breads and cereals under a very Eiffel-like glass roof: Everything is ready to usher you into a fun and surprising world. Our 44 rooms are full of thoughtful and delicate touches that add to the cosiness of the place. All rooms feature a quiet atmosphere, strengthened in some cases with a terrace or an enchanting view over the rooftops. Our team, available 24/24, will welcome you into a chic and relaxing atmosphere

What an amazing find! I booked this hotel initially on its name as I was taking my friend Joyce to this hotel for a special birthday. Not only did she love staying in 'her' hotel , like me, she loved the friendly welcome upon arrival, the friendly and helpful staff, the extremely clean spacious bedroom, the large and again extremely clean bathroom, the mini bar filled with water, soft drinks and fruit juice that were replenished daily and were so welcoming after a day sightseeing in 30 degree heat. The usual hotel hairdryer in the bathroom was one of the kind that wouldn't usually dry a thick head of hair but this didn't matter as a lovely more powerful one was also provided for plugging into one if the many sockets. A USB port on top of one of the lamp sockets was also a nice touch. The beds were comfortable as were the Pillows albeit the bed was a little on the hard side but didn't stop us getting a great night's sleep especially as the hotel is situated in a lovely quiet street. The location of the hotel was perfect. A 15 minute downhill stroll to the Opera and a 15 minute uphill , steep uphill, walk to Montmartre. Similarily once we had mastered the metro the hotel is only a 5minute walk to either St George or Pignalle metro stops which allowed us to travel home via Gare du nord very easily. As for the breakfast, what a great buffet. Eggs usually consisted of scrambled or omelette kept warm in a large hot dome alongside quiche, ham, potatoes, sausages (hot dog type) and beans in tomato sauce. The coffee machine offered all the usual styles of coffees and hot chocolate. Tea lovers were catered for with an ample selection of tea bags. In addition to the hot breakfast there was a cold buffet of cold meats, cheeses and fresh fruit. Crusty bread, croissants ,pain au chocolats and crepes were also provided and were lovely and fresh, nice and crispy not stale and soggy like some places. Hotel Joyce , being part of the Astotel hotels, provided an open bar and snacks from 2pm until 2am. We made full use of the fact that we could pop into any Astotel hotel in Paris during those times and help ourselves to the cold drinks, coffees , tea and snacks of Crackers, fresh fruit and cakes. We were provided with a list of all of those hotels and a small map with the location of them so we could pop into any whilst out sightseeing. All the hotels we popped into were equally welcoming but Hotel Joyce was by far the best. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed just be aware the lift is small and narrow.

Room Tip:If arriving by train get the metro to Pignalle and then walk 5mins downhill to the hotel.

My friends and I, travelling from England, Wales and Germany were all very pleased and extremely happy with stay at Hotel Joyce. Lovely rooms, bathrooms and an airy breakfast area together with great staff who were only too happy to help with everything we needed. The location is perfect, very central and easy to get to Gare Du Nord or most of the key sights.
Reasonably priced, very good value breakfast and much appreciated additional offer of 'happy hour' for free snacks and hot and cold soft drinks.

The hotel is really cosy, the staff are super friendly and helpful! Our room was spotless every day when we returned. The bed is really comfortable, and the shower-bath combo is a great addition. The location is perfect, just 10–15 minutes' walk from the Louvre, and a maximum of five minutes from the nearest metro station, Saint-Georges. The breakfast is tasty, and there's an extra bonus of free soft drinks and snacks from 2 am to 4 pm, which is great. The hotel is part of a chain, so you can also enjoy soft drinks and snacks in other hotels in Paris by simply showing your room card at reception. I will gladly stay in this hotel once again!

Very welcoming on arrival and allowed us to check in to the room early (a few hours) as room was ready, which was nice. Hotel was well presented and clean. The area for eating was a bit quirky, lots of mirrors, car seats which were fixed together and some chairs that were fine if you are under 4ft tall.
The room was descent and had all what you need, TV, safe, hair dryer, bath & shower, mini bar etc. The mini bar was FREE, which was a nice touch, but no alcohol though. Bed was nice size and duvet was of decent thickness. The room had air con which was good.
There was free snacks and soft drinks (hot and cold) in the eating area, this included some cakes, which again was a nice touch.
The buffet breakfast was ok, with a selection of continental and hot items. Was expecting better pastries being in France though.
There is a computer that can be used for free in the eating area.
The hotel is located well on a quiet road and is between two Metro stations (different lines), so getting around was easy. It is not far from Moulin Rouge.
Overall, I would recommend staying here.
The price we paid was inflated due to the rugby, which was frustrating as we didn’t go there for that, but supply and demand applies I suppose.

The hospitality from the moment I walked in to the moment I departed was nothing short of stellar! They took time to explain the hotel and surrounding neighborhood and where the closest metro stations were located.
They offered a snack bar with soft drinks, juice, coffee, waters, and snacks that is refreshed and refilled every day. It was great after a long day of walking in the Paris summer heat. In the room they offered soft drinks, juice, and water which I also used every day.
Upon arrival, there was a bag of cookies in my room with a hand written note welcoming me to the hotel and city. The cookies came from an establishment just across the street (and they were dangerously delicious). And the day before I checked out, I received a nice tote bag and travel bath bag with another hand written note thanking me for my stay and wishing me well. Both of these are very nice touches that you just don’t see much anymore.
If you’re traveling in the summer, the air conditioner worked very well, and the entire hotel is comfortable throughout the day. The beds were great and the facilities in good repair.
The people are kind and courteous. Since I was going to be staying a while, I decided to do laundry and while there isn’t a laundry room onsite, they directed me to one just around the corner.
This is a great location for travel as it’s close to metro stops but is quiet at night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in Paris.

Rare find of a reasonably priced hotel with family rooms that can comfortably accommodate my family of 4 (I would have needed to book 2 hotel rooms with most other hotels - which I was hoping to avoid as this was rare family bonding time and I wanted us to be in one unit). The family unit has 2 rooms with a main door so that both connect seamlessly, each with its own bathroom and double beds, closets, tables and stocked fridge. I had to switch to this hotel from my air BnB simply because the latter could not accommodate storing my luggage after check out since my flight was only at night. The recep at this hotel however easily accommodated my requests store luggage both before and after check-in, regardless of the fact that I only stayed one night. My only regret was that I didn't spend my entire 5 nights here instead of 4N with the air BnB (as I wanted more space). Turns out this hotel would have met all my needs as the rooms were reasonably spacious.
Special call-out to Leticia who served us both at check in and check out. She was always super friendly, warm, patient, accommodating and beaming with a beautiful smile. This is the kind of staff any hotel owner/manager would want to hire! At check out, in addition to Leticia there was also Gamica who extended the same friendly service helping us patiently store our many luggages. This small hotel has the best front office staff ever.
It is also very conveniently located with easy access to the subway and places like Galeries a mere 10 min walk away.
Breakfast spread was decent although could have been better if the dishes were heated on steamers.

Impeccable and very nice Inn. The staff is very attentive and the breakfast was really excellent. I particularly enjoyed fruit salad without apples and with a wide variety of fruits (raspberries, mangoes, blueberries, grapes...). There was something for everyone. Sweet and salty. It is regularly replenished and the veranda was very appreciable.

Wonderful hotel! The staff is very friendly and overall you feel that the service is top-notch. This can be seen in the consistently cleaned rooms, the free drinks in your room and the snack bar at night. I also felt that the location was perfect, not too far of a walk from Montmarte, the metro station, the Louvre, and lots of cute restaurants. Good, charming hotel with no faults to me!

I had a very pleasant stay in all respects. The hotel is modern, comfortable, very clean, with refined decoration. Breakfast offers a wide range of quality products. It is installed under a canopy where aircraft armchairs rub shoulders with designer seats. The staff is particularly friendly and attentive. In addition, the Joyce Hotel is very quiet very well placed in the center of Paris and offers an excellent quality / price ratio.

Excellent 5 day experience in this hotel. The location is very convenient (Pigalle area and close to Montmartre) 3 metro stations nearby. Staff always available and smiling, welcoming room and very comfortable bed. Minibar replenished daily and free with water, soft drinks and juices. Open bar with snacks, soft drinks and hot drinks and espresso from 2pm to 10pm. Very satisfied, if I return to Paris I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
