This is our first time visiting Paris so we didn’t know what to expect. After a long trip we checked in with a very friend staff. We are a family of 4 and the room is so spacious! We stayed 6 nights. We had 3 suitcases and able to unpacked all 3 and find a place for everything. We decided to try the breakfast the next day and was pleasantly surprised at the selection. For $30 per person it was like dinner for us due to the time change. Our room was on the 1st floor and we used the stairs very day for exercise. The days that we did use the elevator, it was not an issue. The location was great with a lot of restaurants near by. We had easy access to the train and hop on hop off bus. The views are wonderful. We even walked 2 blocks to rent a car to drive to Normandy. The rooms are cleaned each day and we received turn down service at night with 4 bottles of water and snacks. They made us feel very special and all the staffs we encountered were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Highly recommend

The hotel is lovely. I travel a lot and the entire staff (bartender, desk staff, housekeeping, concierge) were responsive, friendly and very helpful. If you can, get the rooms that have the balcony with the ability to see the Arc de Triomphe, top of the Eiffel Tower and even the Sacre Coeur. There is a table with chairs on the balcony so you can sip wine and watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night. The Charles de Gaulle Metro is just up the street so you can get any where. Great place to stay! I highly recommend.

I visited Paris for the first time with my teenagers in March and our travel agent recommended the Renaissance Arc Du Triomphe for its location. We were in the middle of two Metro lines, and two steps away from the Arc Du Triomphe and Champs Élysées. The hotel is medium to small-sized, with modern decor. The rooms are small but that’s expected. It was tricky with four adult-sized people and two full beds, even if the room was considered a jr. suite/family room.

However, what made the hotel special was the amazing staff. From the moment Ibrahima greeted us with a big smile and Eugene checked us in I knew it was going to be a great stay.
Hermiona at the front desk was very helpful as well. Caroline in the restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed helping her practice her (perfect!) Spanish.
I tried my best with the little French I know, I appreciate them humoring and encouraging me, haha!
We had room service and ate art the hotel restaurant once, the food was delicious.
I recommend this Renaissance without hesitation.

I have stayed in this hotel many times over the past 10 years - both with just my husband as well as with my children. I always return because the location is great, it is very clean, and the service was previously wonderful. I was there in January of 2025 and my room smelled like smoke when I entered. We called the front desk to let them know someone may be smoking on our floor and they said they would investigate, although we never heard anyone come to our floor. They didn't seem very concerned.
We noticed our room was very cold and thought we just didn't know what we were doing with the "climatisation". We endured one cold day then asked the front desk what we were doing wrong - they sent the building engineer who confirmed it was set as warm as it would go. He went to his office to turn up the heat and told us to wait 20 minutes for it to kick in. Nothing happened. We called the front desk and they said we needed to wait for the engineer to come back to look into it. Nothing happened. We called back and said we were freezing - the heat was clearly broken and the air blowing it felt the same temperature as the 30 degree weather outside - and they told us they would be "delighted to help us" but needed time. More of the same for another hour, meanwhile I'm under the covers in my winter coat. Finally they offered us the room next door, which reeked of smoke - mystery solved why our room had the smell of smoke. We said no thanks and they offered us a choice of two rooms on a lower floor that were slightly warmer. They weren't very apologetic. To me, lack of heat seems crazy in a 5 star hotel, but not so much to the people we dealt with. Our new room never got very warm but at least we didn't have to wear jackets inside. I won't be staying here again.

The hotel was dirty and poorly maintained, the service was reasonable to poor.
In the bedroom, the bathroom door is loose, the bathroom sink is missing a drain, the bathtub is chipped, and the light in the room is burnt out.
The elevator making a lot of noise and shaking a lot looked like it was going to fall
Breakfast with poor presentation, few juice options, they added water to the orange juice, apparently to make more. Few bread and fruit options

We arrived yesterday at 3pm when our room was supposed to be ready. We were supposed to have the balcony room but it was not ready. We were told we could have a drink and a bite to eat at the bar while we waited. We walked over to the bar and were told there was no bartender so we could not have a drink. We ordered food and after waiting we were eventually told that they didn’t have what we ordered directly from their menu. At this point we walked over to the front now about 3:30pm. I asked about the room and was told it was still being cleaned and inspected. I asked when it would be ready and the man checking us in asked the manager. The manager did not even say hello to us. He typed up something on the computer and walked away. The man checking us in then told us we were down graded to a room without a balcony on the lower level. When my husband asked for a print out of the thousands of dollars being charged to make sure we were paying for the right room since it was different from our records. We were denied. This is our third time in Paris and we have never stayed in a hotel with such poor customer service. AVOID at all costs.

This is a 4 star hotel. There is nothing that’s 5 star about it - the physical appearance, the facility, and service level, the food and beverage services - all pretty much 3~4 star. They shall just be honest with it. There is no luggage help in and out, the reception doesn’t greet the guests in and out, the variety of breakfast very very simple, service attitude very cold, one of the two elevators broken, glasses and trays in the corridors all day long not being cleaned. I am an elite member with Marriott Bonvoy, there is no upgrade, despite suites being available, and the reception was trying to sale to me a mediocre suite upgrade for an extra 200 euro per night. Staff were smoking right at the entrance of the hotel but not helping or greetings

I stayed here with my wife and two kids for a week in March 2024. This hotel is one of the few in Paris that has available rooms large enough to accommodate two double beds for four guests total. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were modern (e.g. rain shower heads), and the staff was very friendly and knowledgable. The breakfasts are quite well-prepared, with fresh squeezed juices, pastries baked in house, and great coffee. The vibe is modern and fresh and hip. Overall highly recommended, esp. if you would like to stay close to the Arc de Triomphe, from where you can take the M1 to the Louvre and the M6 to the Eiffel Tower. Expensive but worth it.

We paid 5 star prices for a 5 star hotel and did not get 5 star service. Not even close.

The hotel is nice enough and was clean when we got there. Some of the staff were very nice and helpful, such as Dylan. However, overall we felt like we were not getting the ease and service that we paid for.

Most of the issues were small on their own, but taken together it's a reflection of service that is not up to even European standards. It felt like every request needed an extra call. We had to remind them to bring our bags after waiting an hour. The crib in our room was broken. Multiple times we had to ask for our room to be cleaned again since they did not remove used dishes or take out the trash. It often felt like the staff did not understand our requests and did not make any effort to double check. They never went the extra mile and often just told us that they don't know rather than helping us find answers. If this was a three star hotel with three star prices this would have been expected and tolerated. But we paid a lot of money for our room specifically for the service that comes with that and were left disappointed.

After an issue with a delay with our incredibly expensive laundry service, I brought up my concerns with the manager who promised he would take care of it and make it up to us. His solution was sending two pieces of chocolate to our room and a luggage tag.

Lots of other issues. Would not recommend staying here unless you get a really good deal and don't expect any amount of service.

My family and I did our homework well by researching top attractions in Paris and in other parts of France before arriving in Paris. Although we came fully prepared and knew what attractions to see and the best restaurants to dine at, we would not have fully fulfilled our plans without the top-notch guidance we received from the excellent team at Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe!

I am a Titanium Elite status member, and I have stayed in several Marriott properties over the course of my almost three decades of professional career. I rarely provide written feedback regarding my experiences at hotels whether the service I receive is good or bad because I practice the art of willing acceptance of whatever comes my way without any complaint or praise. However, I do occasionally make an exception, and I would be remiss if I allowed my experience at Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe to pass by without saying thanks to the wonderful people I interacted with, starting with those who helped me book the right room, particularly Senne Theewes!

My family and I felt at home at Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe throughout our stay. The service we received from everyone was par excellent. I wish I did not have to call out any person for fear of leaving out someone who deserves a special mention. Everyone we interacted with (Shams, Ibrahima, Flavio, Ashma, Dorian, Godwin, Ashma, the staff at the restaurant, and many others) were extremely friendly but professional.

However, I must say that the “gods” might punish me if I failed to say special thanks to Shams who went extra miles to bring life and vitality to our preplanned activities to do during our two-week stay in France. In addition, the food and experience at the few restaurants Shams recommended were superior to the restaurant recommendations we received from a renowned travel writer. Finally, I want to thank Ibrahima for his “servant leadership” spirit that always sought to get us what we need even when we had not verbalized our specific need. Someone once said that the selfless activity of divine love guarantees the continuity of this wonderful creation called the universe. Life, love, and joy are embodied in everyone at the Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe. Thank you for helping my family and me experience a wonderful experience in France on our first visit!

Thank you so much for your kind and heartfelt message. It was truly a pleasure to have you and your family with us, and I’m deeply honored by your thoughtful feedback, especially as someone who doesn't often share reviews. I’m glad I could be part of making your stay memorable, along with Shams, Ibrahima, and the rest of the team. Your words about Shams going the extra mile and Ibrahima's leadership will mean the world to them. I’ll make sure they all hear about the positive impact they had on your experience. We're thrilled that our suggestions for dining and activities resonated with you, and that they even surpassed the recommendations from a travel writer! It’s wonderful to know that we helped make your time in Paris a success. Whenever you need a place in Paris, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly, and I’ll be more than happy to assist you. Thank you once again for choosing to stay with us and for making the time to share such meaningful feedback. I hope we’ll have the pleasure of welcoming you and your family back soon.
