There is nothing like the welcome you’ll receive at the Petit Hotel Lafayette, every time I have stayed at this boutique hotel it has always felt like a home-away-from-home.
Located only a 15 minute taxi ride from the Gare Du Nord train station, so great after an early morning trip on the Eurostar, the hotel manager Kieran is always on hand and has been kind enough to accommodate an early check-in on one trip, or will happily store my luggage so I can grab a complimentary coffee (I would definitely recommend taking advantage of this on your trip) in their light-filled breakfast room.
Check-in is always a smooth process and I have been lucky enough to secure some fantastic rooms. On this occasion I stayed in their Junior Suite with a balcony for my solo trip, which offered a spacious light-filled room with a king size bed, but the best part was opening the doors to my own private balcony where I spent many mornings having breakfast, the mini-sofas provided me with a relaxing space to relax after days touring the city, while the desk gave me space to work in the evenings. The location is perfect as a base to explore the city, with a station close-by, plenty of restaurants for dinner on Rue Cadet, Galeries Lafayette a 20 minute walk away. If you’re looking for the perfect boutique hotel in Paris, don’t hesitate to book, the staff absolutely make my stay each time (special mention to Abdallah for his friendly and helpful service every day), and were kind enough to prepare a special birthday gift during my stay.

We planned a short vacation in Paris to celebrate my husband's birthday and see Ed Sheeran in concert, and finding a reasonable room for 3 adults led us to the Petit Lafayette. The hotel is in a great location, metro right nearby.
I'd like to give a special recommendation to the amazing staff - super nice, accomodating and professional. We were moved by the Birthday ballons placed in our room upon checkin, following my mentioning of the fact in the prep email.
The room was spacious and clean, breakfast just right, and overall a great stay!

What a wonderful hotel! While looking for a hotel for our stay in Paris, we wanted to find a hotel with a bit of Parisian charm. The location and the pictures we saw looked like exactly what we were looking for. When we arrived, we were impressed with how the rooms were just as beautiful as in the online pictures.

We were on a family trip, with a 2 day visit to Paris. The room accommodated the four of us perfectly, 2 adults and 2 children. The room's window looked out on to the picture perfect Paris streets. The design of the room was fantastic with a lot of charm and the welcome note the hotel staff had for us in our room when we arrived was a nice and welcoming touch. The room was very clean and well set up. If you're curious, they did have an elevator.

The location was perfect for us with easy access to the Metro and a wonderful area to walk around with a supermarket nearby and many restaurants to choose from. The young lady at the front desk recommended a fantastic restaurant (Le Petit Cadet) where we had dinner the first night.

The breakfast was really good, with a good selection of breads, spreads, juices, coffee and meats. The mini croissants were delicious and there was always food replaced quickly as other guests came down for breakfast.

The hotel team was just amazing. It was clear by how they treated the guests that they care a lot about the hotel and the guest experience. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly. The young lady (didn't get her name) who was "always" at the front desk took the time to answer our questions and made great recommendations. We spent most of our last day in Paris after we checked out from the hotel and they were fine with storing our luggage until we were about to leave.

After a day of exploring Paris, coming back to the Hotel Petit Lafayette wasn't an end to the Paris experience... it was a continuation of the beauty and chic charm of the enchanting city. We highly recommend this hotel and we're happy to add our great review to the other great reviews on this site for the Hotel Petit Lafayette.

Terrific hotel right off Rue La Fayette in the 9th Arrondissement. Immediately near the Cadet stop on the 7 line, but also a 10-ish minute walk to several other lines (including the 3 and 8 and the RER A but probably others). Also not too far of a walk from Montmartre. Fantastic service from all of the employees from start to finish of our trip, helping us get around town and also making sure we were comfortable. Our room for four (two adults, two kids) was set up for us when we arrived and had little Paris welcome guides with stickers for the kids. We got the breakfast included and that was great (croissants, juice, eggs, ham, smoked salmon, cheese, yogurt, cereal). In the middle of a very busy and vibrant neighborhood, but noise was not a problem in our room, and there are tons of really interesting restaurant options as well as mini-markets all within close walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Sadly, stayed here only for one night en route back to England, but would stay again. The staff were helpful, the room was good, except for a strange layout with bathroom and toilet. It weas next to the lift, but that was not a problem as sound proofing was good. Bed was comfortable. Lighting nice. Had an early train to catch so missed out on the breakfast but the breakfast room looked pleasant for eating. The location is good, 12 minutes walk from Gare de Nord, close to two Metro stations, and 25 minutes easy walk to the Louvre. A good mix of streets and restaurants around. The one thing I didn't like was the smell in the room of supposed air freshner, which we had to open windows to dispel it.

We had a very pleasant stay in Hotel Petit Lafayette. It feels like a very safe, pleasant and clean place in the big city. It's very central, cause you can walk from Gare du Nord (train) to the hotel. It's also a very nice place to stay with (small) children. The employees are very kind and helpfull. The breakfast is different, cause you only eat good! (biological) food and that is a good start of the day. Different cheeses, ham, egg, juices, ginger-shot, fruit, yoghurt... you name it! We felt at home in the hotel. The room is quiet and we could sleep well. You can travel easily to the different sightseeings: Eifeltower, Louvre, PSG stadion, Disney. We prefered to travel by bus (line 32 near the corner). The metro (Cadet) is fast but crowded. In the bus you can pay € 2,50 for a one-way trip. A supermarket is about in the same street, good restaurants on Rue Cadet and we also had a good diner at Hardrock Café. You can buy a crepe or a baquet/bread, there is a bakery and you are near to the Starbucks. Also a big shoppingcentre in the surrounding. A very friendly stay at Hotel Petit Lafayette!

Last minute trip. The hotel is small, clean and comfortable. It is accessible via train to main areas of interest and has close a few good restaurants. The rooms are big enough but some need better ventilation. The breakfast area rather small but if you are an early bird then you are OK. Variety for breakfast is limited and feel like that it is oveprised. The staff quite friendly and ready to assist in any case. In the rooms a small kettle can be added for a cup of coffee or tea. For sure a possible choice for our next trip.

My family and I stayed in the lovely 'junior suite balcony' room whilst visiting Paris. Such a great location to explore Montemarte, the Opera district and la galleries lafayette and so many nice restaurants and bars around too, plus a little supermarket just opposite. Only a 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord too.
What a warm, personal and friendly welcome from all the staff, who couldn't have been more helpful! Fabulous, spacious room for our family of four with a lovely little balcony too. Breakfast was plentiful and my kids loved all the special attention they got, which is rare in busy city hotels. Definitely recommend this boutique hotel! Top!

We've been coming to Paris for many years but as we were travelling on Eurostar wanted somewhere walking distance from Gare Du Nord and also close to a metro line. We found the hotel Petit Lafayette and it didn't disappoint. The hotel is very new and our room was amazing with everything we could need and also our room had a fabulous balcony which we ate breakfast on. The staff were super friendly and couldn't have been more helpful, we hope these reviews don't result it this lovely hotel becoming too busy as we are definitely planning our return

Just 20 min walk from Gare du Nord. Good location for visiting Paris sights. There is only a small area for eating breakfast, but there is the opportunity to pre-order, via app, from a very good breakfast menu, which is then delivered to your room at your preferred time. The staff were very helpful, booking a taxi to go to the Eiffel Tower. We travelled with our daughter and her family, inc 2 children and the hotel had even organised an Easter egg hunt in their room. We definitely recommend Petit Lafayette.
