We stayed 3 nights here in September - 28C on one day. Room, which was a suite at 250 euros a night was excellent. Dinard is a lovely place but Didier Meril, where we booked half board, wanted to serve us a shortened version of the very basic cheapest menu which, naturally, we

We thought this hotel, and its restaurant, were exquisite. It's a bit of a splurge, but it feels really special. The hotel is very easily reached in 15 minutes from St Malo, and has great parking in front. We arrived on a beautiful autumn evening and the view across the bay was

The location and views were great. Our standard double was very small but clean and good view. Surprised by price of some items, eg 15 Euros for a white wine kir is a rip off. Also having paid 15 Euros for breakfast where they ran out of eggs, was shocked to be charged an extra

Dear Trevor B, Thank you for your advise about your stay. We are pleased that you enjoyed the room you rented. I have to correct the price of the kir as it is 9 euros and not 15 (that is for a glass of Champagne). black Coffee or tea is 4 euros and extra milk is 1 euro. Every cafés and restaurant had different prices for different drinks. Black coffee is not the same price as white coffee or cappuccino, matte, etc... After looking, I couldn't find any prices mistakes on your bill. You had 2 kirs (18 euros), and 2 espressos from new Guinea (8 euros). We have a good quality breakfast all home made as you find : fresh seasonal fruits, fresh fruits salad, compote, home made yogurts, smoked ham, home made smoked salmon, crepes, special far breton, cookies, 3 sorts of home made pastries, 2 sorts of breads, 6 sorts of home made jams and spreads, etc... I am sorry all the hard eggs has been taken when you had your own breakfast. We always have something to suggest instead and we did : scrambled or boiled eggs but you refused. It would have been more pleasant if you could have tell all this on your check out as I asked you if you enjoyed your stay. I was not expecting a "yes", but everything you thought to improve ou services. Regards, Manager department

Lovely hotel, very stylish rooms. Slightly on the small side, but the views made up for it. We were very well looked after by Didier. Didn't use the restaurant but menu looked very good, and the location overlooking the bay absolutely beautiful.
