Wrapped in the cozy and confidential atmosphere, Yndo hotel is a typical old mansion from 19th century where the twelve rooms and suites with unique and quirky decor arouse emotion and invite to appeasement.

You read a lot about boutique hotels - their design values, the personalised service. In the case of Hotel YNDO, totally deserved. It’s a beautifully appointed hotel comprising 12 unique rooms. The finishing are first class and I liked the modern touches like a Dyson hairdryer.
More impressive was the personalised service. The owner, Agnes, gave me a very warm personal welcome. She cooks many of the meals herself and even offered to take me to nearby Cap Ferret for a day trip if I wanted to go.
When the Staff noticed that I hadn’t gone out for dinner, they knocked on my door to ask if they could bring a simple meal tray to my room.
It felt like I was a guest in a luxury home. I can’t recommend this enough.

You cant imagine how beautiful and unique this place is until you check it out yourself. It features a beautiful selection of highly curated rooms with an incredible interior decorations of an uncomparable charme. Our room had a HUGE bathtube like the one you always dream about when see them on Instagram. What a place!
The stuff is very kind, helpful and able to speak multiple languages which made us feel like home since the first step. Delphine (I think that was her name, if I remember it correctly) took care of us in a super way!
The breakfast is delicious and with organic and fresh food only. I had the best omelette EVER and thankfully I ordered it double on our last day.
Definitely great rapport quality/price. You get what you pay for!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Lovely attentive staff and fantastic location. Our crazy room was wonderfully styled, very large and had a lovely view over the courtyard and rooftops. The bed was big and comfortable, as was the couch and we always felt a sense of relaxation and calm every time we entered our room. The staff were always very happy to help with recommendations, the breakfast was very tasty and my partner said the massage she received was one of the best she’s ever had. The hotels location is perfect, just far enough out of the hustle and bustle but only a 1-2min walk from a parallel street which not only leads you into the edge of the old town but is filled with a great mix of restaurants and eateries, from casual to 1 Michelin starred.
Our only negatives were very minor. We found the pillows to be extremely soft and would have liked to be able to add English subtitles on the tv so we could watch and understand the French shows.
Would 100 percent definitely stay here again on our next visit. Loved the hotel.

I love this hotel so very much it is the only hotel I would consider in Bordeaux. It is a beautifully unique hotel with each item from the chairs in the lounge to the light fixtures in the bedroom lovingly picked out by the owner of the property. As much as I love the style of this hotel it is the staff that would bring me back. We arrived at the hotel after a long drive and after 2:00 pm when most restaurants stop serving lunch. We asked the lovely front desk staff person, Nellie, if she could recommend a nearby restaurant that was still serving lunch and she said the hotel could make us lunch. She seated us outside on the patio, the cute hotel dog came and sat at our feet, poured us a glass of wine and I believe it was the owner of the hotel, Agnes, who made me the most delicious mushroom omelette I ever had in my life. My husband ordered the soup and carpaccio. We were quite surprised when the carpaccio wasn't the beef carpaccio we were expecting but rather a mushroom carpaccio feature cepes that Agnes had just brought back from the Dordogne. (Note: We clearly didn't read the menu closely.) That carpaccio was crazy amazing and we are now home in San Diego trying to recreate it. We spent 4 lovely nights at the hotel and every staff person we encountered was just fantastic. They parked our car for us (be sure to email them in advance to have them reserve a spot for you.) They asked if we needed dinner reservations and if we didn't have them they made them for us. They recommended a lovely neighborhood restaurant that we never would have found without their recommendation. The breakfast every morning was delicious. And did I mention the cute hotel dog? Who doesn't want to stay at a hotel with a cute dog? This hotel is small but the customer service provided by the hotel owner and staff is huge.

Better than on the photos, this hotel is stylish, comfortable and cozy. We felt like we are living inside a designer magazine. Not only the rooms but the charming courtyard and the view from the window were every bit as picturesque as you would expect from a boutique French hotel. Every single view in this hotel was colorful, comfortable and exciting. Even bathroom and the toilet look very chic with carerra marble everywhere and cool modern fixtures. In addition to the design, the members of staff were very reliable, pleasant and accommodating. Also it’s important to add that this hotel serves a very good breakfast. Actually nowhere in the town we could find a better breakfast that includes more than coffee and croissant and only here we found breakfast with eggs and yoghurts. All good was beyond delicious and of a very reasonable price. My sincere recommendations to fellow travelers!

What a lovely hotel. Located on a quiet street just a few steps away from the main tourist areas, the location is perfect. We were quite impressed with the decor and contemporary furniture and art throughout the building.
We stayed in a suite, which was quite spacious for my mother and me. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was large, and the air conditioning was great (a very important factor during the hot weather). One slight issue was that we could not move the bathroom door to the shower room - perhaps that’s a small design issue.
The service was our favorite part of the trip - nothing was too big of an ask for the staff. There was a small issue with our dinner reservation at the hotel, but the staff member at the front desk rectified the issue by recommending a lovely brasserie nearby. One of our favorite memories is having a glass of wine (or two!) in the lovely sitting room with the adorable house dog by our feet. We’d happily return.

Yndohotel is a contemporary hotel so if you prefer a more classical flavour, this may not be for you. Having said this, it is not overly modern so there is nothing here that is over the top.
Location is slightly out of the way but for this, you do get a good walk everyday and a very quiet location that is not far from all the attractions.
The staff were all very helpful in a boutique kind of way. It is a home spun five star service but it was all done with care and attention. You can't fault it.
Breakfast was exceptionally good - basic and high quality. We had dinner here on last night and it was very acceptable home cooking that will not disappoint if are not in the mood for dining at a restaurant.
My only reservation is that the room is not practical as it should be. Lack of drawers, a proper working desk, a ceiling light that is too low that turned me Inspector Clouseau more than once as I kept hitting my head against it. It is not a deal breaker but good to be aware of it.
Liked the hotel and would be more than happy to return.

Yndohotel is right in the centre of Bordeaux, a short walk from all the sites and numerous great restaurants. It’s appeal lies in the elegance of the building and the wonderful decoration, fairly unique and comforting. The service was perfect.

Hidden gem, off the beaten path in Bordeaux. Great quiet neighborhood - easy to walk or catch the tram. What a fantastic property!! Beautiful rooms, unbelievably friendly and helpful staff!! Loved the little dining room - exceptional breakfasts, great wine and dinner service was amazing. My wife has a number of food restrictions, which they willingly and very professionally worked around. Absolutely loved and highly recommend!

My favorite hotel in Bordeaux. We had a perfect time at YNDO Hotel. The words cannot describe the beauties of this place and how particular the rooms are. Our room was incredible, with a huge bathtub in front of our bed. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in Bordeaux (especially the omelette). The staff was super kind and friendly. Since every room is different, I can’t wait to be back again and discover more about this hotel!
