We were looking for somewhere near the railway station. and this hotel fitted the bill with the station just just a few minutes walk away. The staff were very friendly Far nice than last night staff in London. the room was small and computable. the room was clean just what we wanted for the night. loved the old style décor of the hotel. breakfast was nice will stay again.

Straight across from railway station. 75 euros for 2. Basic clean room and an amazing little dinning room for breakfast. Had a quick overnight stay with restaurants close by across from the station. Staff very helpful.

An excellent stay that started well when we were upgraded to a junior suite over looking the railway station. Couldn't have been better.
Friendly and helpful young man on reception who asked whether we would like to speak French or English.
Through was clean, comfortable and large, with a massive shower room and a separate toilet.
Ideal for our early start but it would also be ideal if you are staying longer in Bordeaux as the tram and many bus stops are literally 50 metres away. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed one night in this hotel on our way from the Dordogne to Biarritz. We had a great experience. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in a little early and then leave our heavy luggage a few hours after check out so we could explore Bordeaux. Breakfast is good and is served from 5am for those getting early trains. It’s a very comfortable hotel in a perfect location for travellers. Thank you!

We were accommodated in the annex where the rooms are not all renovated, and not visible on the site! Outdated carpet, questionable bedding, holey and dirty sheets, stained bathroom linen! This during the Rugby World Cup period, therefore for a prohibitive price (€104 per night!). A youth hostel would have been preferable.
The rest of the establishment seems to be in better condition, and the breakfast is very good. So you have to avoid the rooms in the annex or at least make sure they are renovated.

This is a great find. Directly across from the Saint Jean train station with access to all modes of local transportation. The staff were extremely friendly helpful and happy. The basic room. Was comfortable but the hotel has a very nice opulence. The reasonably priced breakfast was ample. A great place to stay for exploration of Bordeaux.

We spent 1 night here as it was the only hotel near the train station that had rooms available. The rooms were very dated and had a musty smell. Bed was very uncomfortable. Nothing positive to say other than it is right opposite the train station and was reasonably priced at 80 Euros a night.

The only positive thing that I have to say about this hotel was being close to the train station. The room was horrible, the bed comforter, and sheets had stain. The towels were so old that looked dirty. The toilet seat hinges were loose, the shower head had screws popping out. There was only one power plug working, so it was either charging my phone or keep the fan on. The room where I stay was overlooking the front of the station and was very noisy. I couldn’t complain to anybody because nobody speaks English. I work for a Hilton hotel. I believe this hotel need to do some serious upgrades to even call themselves a hotel, and call themselves a Hostel. I feel like I paid a $100.00 a night and it was not worthy. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anybody.
