Come and stay in our boutique hotel with its tailor-made services. We’re situated in the very heart of Bordeaux opposite the ruins of Palais Gallien and just a few minutes from the city's “golden triangle”. Enjoy the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a unique experience in a family atmosphere where the decor offers a combination of high-quality materials, layered textures and attractive colour schemes. Maison Bord'eaux also boasts an impressive heritage... Maison Bord'eaux is a former coaching inn that has been welcoming travellers, messengers and couriers since the 18th century. This spirit of hospitality has been chiselled into each and every stone of this single-storey Bordeaux dwelling, the old stables and sublime interior courtyard. But living in the past is no way to secure the future - which is why Maison Bord'eaux was entirely revamped in September 2020 with the splendid addition of a new building made of steel, glass and aluminium. All of which means that Maison Bord'eaux is of its time, infusing a dash of modernity while maintaining all its authenticity.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed for 3 nights. We had booked a superior room with a terrace. The room was clean and comfortable with quirky, modern furniture and a bathroom with bath and shower. For the price we paid I would have expected bathrobes and slippers to be provided but they did not appear to be. The terrace was large, and got evening sun, unfortunately the weather meant we only used it once. The toilet was a little small…always felt like my knees were going to hit the door. There were tea and coffee making facilities and the room safe was a very good size (you could easily get a laptop on it).
The welcome was warm and friendly and the reception staff we very, very helpful. They were great at recommending and booking restaurants (Comptoir Cuisine was the best place we ate in Bordeaux). A glass of wine from the hotel’s selection was reasonably priced.
Breakfast was good, typical continental with a fair selection of breads and pastries, a small selection of cheese and meats, yoghurt and fruit and cooked eggs and bacon. The jams were delicious. It was a little expensive at €16.
Location is good, in a quiet street about 10 minutes walk from the Theatre Royal, and 5 minutes from the nearest tram stop.
The only downside was that the lift to our room on the first floor was a bit temperamental and the stairs were a very narrow spiral staircase. If I were 10 years older I would have struggled with the staircase.
We would recommend this for a stay in Bordeaux.
Do make sure you get a city pass if you are visiting Bordeaux, it saved us a lot of money.

Wonderful small hotel close to center of Bordeaux.
Staff: terrific, provided a list of restaurants walking distance. We picked 1925, about 10 mins from hotel, nice french bistro.
Room: nice, king bed very comfortable, clean
Shower: good pressure and plenty of hot water. Big towels.
Dining: they have a breakfast but we did not try it. There are only about 300 restaurants and cafes within a 10 minute radius
Other:
About 50 meters from the hotel are the remains of a roman coliseum.
Uber from Gare St Jean was about €14
Uber to airport was about €20 and took about 25 minutes. Be aware that there is a lot of construction around the airport

Le Maison is a modern, well appointed boutique hotel with comfortable rooms and fabulous staff. The property has been renovated to respect its history - stables and courtyard and to provide all modern conveniences. The only reason we didn’t give it a 5 is that there is no onsite bar/restaurant (although on request the staff will provide a drink in the courtyard). And the location is just that little bit further away from the major attractions, eat streets, shopping or nightlife. The advantage of its location is that it is quiet. A few steps from the front entrance are the ruins of the roman wall. If you don’t mind a 15 minute walk you would give this property a 5.

Fantastic boutique hotel in lovely quiet area of Bordeaux. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble from the fabulous reception staff. They helped us with directions and ensured we were comfortable in our room. The hotel is a manageable 20 minute walk into the centre of Bordeaux along beautiful streets (we loved Bordeaux!). Breakfast was outstanding with a wonderful lady who was making french toast as well as the other treats on offer. We were lucky to be able to eat outside in the courtyard on both mornings which was really special. We didn't want to leave!

Stayed here for 3 nights and was happy from the get go. The lady working on check-in was extremely helpful and had very good English. I was very happy with my room which had an extremely comfy bed, a desk and chair as well as two easy chairs for reading or drinking tea.
The bathroom was lovely (separate room for toilet) with a lovely shower and towels and lovely to use Nuxe toiletries. The option (of which I availed) to not have fresh towels every day is offered to.
The room and bathroom were spotlessly clear and the all the staff that I encountered were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

This boutique hotel was perfect for our stay in Bordeaux. Comfortable rooms, very pleasant staff and a delicious breakfast. The Hotel is situated in the perfect location within walking distance of many beautiful churches, monuments, parks and the Cathedral Saint-Andre de. There many cafes and quality restaurants to choose from, as well as an excellent shopping centre.

Location was perfect for exploring Bordeaux but great for not being right in the centre, we enjoyed the peaceful part of the city we were in. Fresh buffet breakfast and parking available which was really handy. Lovely staff and very calm.
