We received inredibly friendly but never intrusive service from the moment we walked in. Housekeeping effectively service the rooms twice a day noting when you come and go to do a turn down without intruding. The room (executive) was good sized and beautifully appointed with useful and tasteful features, not fussy or overly stylised - comfort first! Lovely toiletries. Well located - 15 minute walk to the very centre, 2 minutes to a coffee shop or tram, 30 seconds to a bus to the main train station and a handy carrefour grocery shop. We didn't try the food so can't comment on that but everything we did experience was excellent and we must comment on the genuine friendliness of the staff and the truly excellent service. It was worth every penny and much better than most hotel this price in a city like London. We can't recommend this enough.

My experience at this hotel was exceptional. The staff is highly trained, incredibly helpful, and kind. The team at the Madame B restaurant and bar is truly outstanding, and the reception staff are all very accommodating. The room I stayed in was generously spacious, impeccably clean, and featured a wonderfully cozy bed, creating a luxurious atmosphere that made me feel right at home. If you're visiting Bordeaux, I highly recommend giving them a try – it's a very elegant hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Salamanca and then Porto. After a long trip we were very happy to use their valet service and have them bring our luggage to the room. After a brief explanation of what the hotel had to offer, we were nicely greeted by a spacious and beautifully designed room. The breakfast had everything you could wish for: From fruit, Granola, Muesli and fresh juices to Salmon, ham, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and of course Croissants!
We spent a night at the bar that offered very creative cocktails in a beautiful atmosphere.

A very nice hotel near the centre of Bordeaux with friendly capable staff. We were a family of four and could not eat in the restaurant as it was fully booked. However the concierge was able to get a table for us at a nearby restaurant where we had a delicious meal which was reasonably priced. I would have liked to see more choice of non gluten and non dairy products at breakfast time in line with other hotels at this level.

Excellent hotel with great facilities and very helpful and friendly staff. Room cleanliness was exceptional and rooms are very nicely furnished with good bathrooms. The location is just on the edge of the main shopping and pedestrianised areas but only a 10 minute walk so very convenient for everything that this beautiful city has to offer. Highly recommended.

My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Burdigala and we enjoyed it very much.
We were welcomed very warmly at reception and all the staff in the hotel were very friendly, helpful and polite. Most of the staff spoke excellent English and although my wife does speak French, this was very helpful especially when we first arrived. Our room was very tastefully decorated, comfortable, spotlessly clean and relaxing. The hotel is ideally situated, being a 2 minute walk from the nearest tram halt (to get in from the airport take the tram to Meriadeck) and a 15 minute walk from the city centre.
Breakfast was nice, but we felt that there could have been more options available and perhaps the waiters could have asked if we wanted anything from the kitchen eg omlettes, poached eggs, etc. We dined at Madame Bs on our first night and the food was great - my Rhubarb dessert was superb and might be the finest dessert I've ever had.
We had a great stay and would recommend this lovely hotel to anyone.

We were greeted promptly upon arrival. Greeted with a smile 😄. The front desk staff took us for quick tour of the hotel and showed us our room and asked us if it was suitable for our needs. Also upgraded room at no extra cost. Staff was amazing!!

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Burdigala. The staff were very pleasant and always helped us. The rooms were light and airy and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of pastries and pancakes, fruits and yogurts, meats cheese and smoked salmon.There was also hot food scrambled eggs bacon and sausage etc and you could always ask for different eggs and omelettes. Every evening we would have cocktails made for us by the lovely Quentin. He does a great pina colada. The town was about a 10 minute walk away and getting an Uber was really easy. We would definitely stay here again x

Beautiful contemporary hotel, highly recommend it., friendly and, a great location to explore Bordeaux. The hotel recently has been refurbished, fabulous interior design, the shower is high quality and the bedroom is an exceptional standard. The lovely supermarket next door. The walk to the old city is only 5 min away when you walk through the old city gate.

The personnel are very friendly and considerate. We booked a classic room, the hotel has upgraded a larger executive room. In our room we got welcome sweets. In the minibar there is always a bottle mineralwater. And 2 or 3 bottles of nature mineralwater for tee or café preparation. The room is alway cleaned and good arranged. On our last night stay, we have Christmas dinner in the restaurant in the hotel. The hotel has prepared a gift for me. It was so nice. It was a very nice stay during my vocation in Bordeaux. I want to give thanks to Hotel personnel.
