I was quite surprised that Le Boutique Hotel, Bordeaux was a five star hotel. It is a good four star at best. Staff were wonderful but had to be approached for help as opposed to being attentive throughout. There is no restaurant, no gym and no spa hence the lack of facilities warrants a four star. Despite being phoned the previous day to find out when we would be arriving, our room wasn't ready until 1630hrs. We arrived at about 2pm and had to sit and wait in the bar.
There is a public carpark about 2mins walk from the hotel with parking a fraction on the cost of the valet parking.
The room was very well appointed with a huge comfy bed and whirlpool bath. Ample storage and with Hermes lotions and potions. The shower gels were not replaced and we had to ask for more as well as bottled water. Indeed, I thought the room cleanliness lacked a bit. The bath had several long dark hairs in it. This became more of a problem when the jets were turned on where further hair turned up. Our dirty coffee cup was not replaced either. This did not fill us with confidence considering the current Covid problems. There was also no iron so we tried to call reception using the fancy in room phone system only to find it didn't work.
We paid for a junior suite which didn't much look like the pictures. I personally wouldn't pay extra for one of these in future. the room also overlooked the bar which was quite noisy until about 1am.
Breakfast was not worth the money. There was very little choice and again service was lacking and we had to ask at reception for a coffee. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and we would do this in future.
The hotel is very well located and is lovely but not five stars I'm afraid. The reception staff were great but the breakfast staff and housemaids could do with a push.

We had a very pleasant stay in the small and elegant hotel well situated in midst of Bordeaux. Though our Elegance Double Room ( „Domaine des Chevaliers) was rather small, it was off the street noise, very
comfortable and tastefully furnished. The bed was especially comfortable. Breakfast was of excellent quality. As we travelled with bicycles, we appreciated all the staff for being relaxed and helpful keeping our bikes on a safe place.

Not a 5 star hotel , more 4 star , some of the staff are good and excellent , others have there own agenda . And your food manager should not shout across the breakfast room asking me is your breakfast included , when it is and , she should know from there internal systems . Which I was very taken back by , and had to get my friend up from her table , to literally show her what we had booked . The assistant front manager is rude to staff and customers.also some staff book there friends restaurant for you ,and when you arrive they are there , and resulting in them joining you , which is not very pleasant . Also , my friend lost her key card , and one of the staff that was drinking earlier ,in the restaurant was back in the hotel , and cut me a new key card , not good . Also the rooms are good and clean that I do have to say , there is little treats in your room water , minerals , sweets , but not stocked up every day , which is poor for the prices the hotel is charging , also where my room was off the main garden , was very noisy, if you were going to bed early , I also saw tables not cleared for about 45 mins and staff standing around , and when you are checking out after paying good money for a 5 star hotel you do not even get a goodbye or how was your stay and would you come back seriously ? I travel the world with work , and stay in 5 star and 4 star hotels , but I would ask the owners to relook at some problems in this hotel 1 staff , 2 more customer focused . And finally make it more value for money .

A friend and I stayed at the Boutique hotel in late August 2024 for a few nights, and we absolutely loved it! From the time we arrived until we left, the entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. They were always available with restaurant recommendations, help with our room, and to bring us new towels or fresh water. Our room was perfect for us, and was clean and comfortable. We loved the wine bar for a late night drink before bed, and the breakfast each morning was really delicious and freshly made, I was not expecting much from a hotel as we just ate breakfast there for convenience but they truly went above and beyond when it came to food. The location was also great, right in the middle and accessible to everything, but quiet enough that we didn't notice any noise or crowds.

Our junior suite was the dream come true for our 2 day romantic stay in Bordeaux. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city and all the touristic sights are reachable by walking even if the city offers many means of transport. We found the hotel so great because of the incredible team which works there and which gave us the feeling that we are really important guests. They took care of all the reservations of our restaurants and their choice was always more then perfect. Thanks to the team we visited an exhibition which they booked for us. We will definitely come back again !! Please don’t hesitate to make your reservation here!

A very impressive hotel with a collection of three buildings surrounded by a central garden which is open with a tiny pool. The rooms are rather small size but it’s charming heritage building restored with a lot of love. Paul at the front desk is an absolute delight to have around. The air-conditioning is not exactly effective because of the building being of certain age but the hotel with extra cooperative and providing standing fans to make sure the temperature is decent and cool. Centrally located. Almost walking from everything. Each room is named after a particular Châteaux from the region

As a first time traveler to Bordeaux our time at Le Boutique Hotel was impeccable, flawless, and memorable from start to finish.
First, Hollie, Paul and the entire from desk staff were always pleasant and welcoming no matter when you talked with them. Paul and Hollie would always engage and greet you as you were walking inside or outside the hotel if they saw you. The mark of a great staff is that they greeted you by name every time you came into the hotel, and they genuinely wanted to know how your day was going and if there was anything they could do for you.
The rooms....impeccable. Even with smaller European rooms we had plenty of space to store all of belongings for a 7 day stay. We had zero issue with closet space. The bed was also the most comfortable bed that we had in a very long time, and we continue to talk about how we miss the bed. The shower was great having both a rain shower head and a handheld wand. Water pressure was great, as there was plenty of water pressure. A very nice touch for this time of year was that the air conditioning in the room worked!! Most hotels in Europe would have it off at this point. Bonus points for the hotel!! The cleaning staff for the rooms were also incredible as they kept the rooms well put together. Having the mini fridge stocked well, and the daily replenishment of the water was very nice.
Wine in the evening was excellent!! Selection was solid, albeit slightly overpriced.
Breakfast was perfection. The smoked trout in the morning is beyond delicious, and the other assorted offerings far exceeded expectations. You are missing a treat if you skip breakfast.....make sure you have breakfast at the hotel!!
All in all we miss being with Hollie, Paul and the team. We cannot wait to come back.

Le Boutique is truly a unique and beautiful hotel situated in the Centre City and has all the amenities you would want. The rooms are gorgeous and well appointed and the staff is friendly and very focused on caring for your every need. We had to have our COVID-19 tests done in order to get back into the USA, and the hotel arranged the tests and the driver to take us. Not only did the driver take us, he acted as our interpreter and expedited the process. This driver is someone the hotel uses regularly because they know just how good he is. We loved our time here, we would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone!

This hotel is incredible. You will simply never have better treatment at a hotel.
From start to finish it was incredible. From the start, arriving to real rose pedals layed out on the bed for me and my girlfriend, to leaving at 4 am with a taxi prepared and fresh coffee and pastries made for us upon exit.
I really could not say enough wonderful thing about the service and staff at this hotel.
My one “complaint” which i think you are going to find in alot of europe is that the AC was not ideal, but other than that, amazing.
Thank you so much to the hotel and the staff for making this the best trip i could ask for!
