This hotel was very nice, clean and modern. It looked fairly new. A little far from downtown, but a great value. The restaurant inside was phenomenal, the best hotel breakfast I ever had. There’s also an amazing food hall directly across from the hotel with cultural food restaurants.

This motel is about a year and a half old. Located on a frontage road just next to the river. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. The manager on duty during part of my stay was Maya, We had a need to contact an airline company and she went out of her way to find the location and contact person and assisted throughout the process. Her English was very clear and a large vocabulary which was a huge help. The dining room personnel were also very friendly and explained menu items which we were not familiar with. Rooms are typical for HGI and maintained well. A supervisor came to our room just to check that there wasn’t any needed items. I would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay and friendly staff.

Overall, the hotel was a very pleasant stay where the room was comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the decor was modern in keeping with the surrounding area's new ongoing development. The only thing to be mindful of while staying here is it is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest public transport (tram or train station), or longer if you choose to walk into the historic part of town.

I have stayed here a significant number of time since it opened, and returned in July 2020 for four nights. The room was up to the usual standard and I opted in to have daily housekeeping. On the last night the fire alarm went off early in the morning (6am), which was a nuisance, but staff allowed guests back into the hotel fairly quickly. Breakfast was rather hit and miss. It was served by staff into bags, which guests could take back to their rooms or eat downstairs. Unfortunately what was provided was rather variable - burnt croissants one day and no bread on another - and not up to the standard of the usual breakfast here. There were no evening meals when I visited, but these were advertised as due to start in August. All staff were very pleasant and helpful

Fantastic fresh hotel with absolutely great team!!! I would like to mention Jean at the reception who heard our needs (we were traveling with kids) and who offered us different category of room, different from the one which made reservation. It was great cooperation with housekeeping team because it took them just couple of minutes to prepare our room for our needs. Once we were up on the floor, the room was totally ready! You made the magic and exceed our expectations! If you travel by car, they have great parking availability. Separate words of appreciation are for kitchen and restaurant team. We were served by Gabriel twice, the service was very fast and efficient. Cuisine was very delicious!!!
Well done to management team! It was our second visit to the hotel and definitely team made a big difference. I’m sure next time when we are in Bordeaux, we will choose exactly this hotel!

Lovely friendly welcome. Receptionist very knowledgeable about city and transport system, she took time to explain thoroughly how to get about. We found all the staff to be excellent, attentive and helpful. The hotel is a short distance from the city centre, it is an easy 10 minute walk to the trams, which will take you right into and through the city. It’s also a pleasant walk along the river into the city and takes about 30 minutes. 10 minute walk to Gare St Jean. Our room was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom and great shower. Comfortable bed. We didn’t have enough tea bags but asked at reception and they sent some more up to the room. We ate in the restaurant, which we thought was good value. Lovely food, beautiful cooked and presented. Restaurant and bar staff were all friendly and helpful. Nice selection of wines. We loved the stylish modern decor in the hotel and all areas were spotlessly clean. Will stay here again when in Bordeaux.

I believe this property is one of the first Hilton Garden Inns in Europe or in France. The hotel is new and well decorated throughout.
As Hilton Gold members we did not receive a noticeable room upgrade even though occupancy appeared to be low. Nevertheless the room was adequate and very comfortable.
The hotel itself not close to the centre but as expected with the HGI brand concept. There was plenty of parking available along the road in front of the hotel.
Breakfast was decent especially in view of the covid situation.
Positive experience throughout and will not hesitate to return if travelling by car.

The rooms are super clean and are spacious with very comfortable beds. I thought the breakfast was reasonable but could have had a better selection of hot food. Not much to cater for vegetarians and vegans. Whole bunches of grapes looked lovely on display but were being handled by numerous guests, so not too hygienic I'm afraid. I asked at the reception for a tea bag to make tea in my room and was surprised when informed that it would be charged to my room! She saw my surprise and then quickly changed her mind and said it would be complimentary after all.

We stayed here our 3rd and final night in Bordeaux since we had a morning train afterwards. We got a very good rate at just over 100€ and received complimentary breakfast due to our HiltonHonors Diamond status. We got a room upgrade-well sort of- to Room #711. It was a view upgrade and not really a room upgrade. Since I don't look out the window all night, I prefer an actual room upgrade. The room was very small but had a nice, clean bathroom with shower only (no tub). Our view was towards the main part of the city but mainly just a few church towers in the distance. It looks like they may be finally extending the tram between the hotel and the river-there was something happening there but too early to know exactly what?? All was clean, breakfast had many items and was great, and all was quiet for a decent sleep. It is a good walk from the closest tram stop but convenient to the train station (both about 1 km away). I would stay here again if I could get a decent price and as long as we still receive complimentary breakfast but would prefer less walking!

After a long day of wine tasting in the region, we did not want run out to dinner after returning to the hotel to freshen up. We tried the restaurant, The Great American Grill behind the front desk hoping that it would be decent small dishes. We were pleasantly surprised with the service and the dishes. Breakfast buffet was even better! Decor was homey and inviting. Spacious mid-century decor with neutral colors throughout the property makes you want to stay awhile.

You can take the tram at the airport and the have a connection at Quinconces station in order to take tram D or C to reach a stop close to the hotel.
