Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For tourists traveling by train, the hotel is well located in relation to the station (300m). The tram located 100m away allows you to get to the city center easily. The staff is courteous and attentive. The room is quite spacious, clean and the bedding is quality. The shower/sanitary area is small and poorly designed, difficult to take a shower without watering the entire room. The breakfast offered is very varied and rich in the products presented. They are all quality and tasty. We had a pleasant night, except for the fire alarm going off at 2:00 a.m. throughout the hotel because of someone smoking in the room.

All the staff are very nice and friendly. The hotel and room are very clean. If this hotel provides a kettle, a couple of cups and spoons, and a fridge, it will be perfect.
10-15 mins walk from the train station.
Next to the hotel, there is a tramway stop and a little supermarket.
We are considering a next trip to Bordeaux. We may book this hotel again.

Very new hotel and it makes a difference to 3 star hotels. Everything was in good condition and rooms had everything you need. Friendly staff on the front desk offered good advice on getting to town and place to get a drink local to the hotel. Slightly odd area, but felt safe and easy access to town via the tram.

Stranded in Bordeaux overnight due to a delayed train (no fault of SNCF), I was allocated this hotel by SNCF, and it was excellent. Although it took me and other displaced passengers a little bit of effort to find the hotel (this was the fault of SNCF this time), it was worth the 5 minute walk from the station. The hotel is modern, clean, well furnished, and the bed was excellent. Breakfast was generous and of good quality. Staff were friendly, even when dealing singlehandedly with an influx of frustrated and tired passengers. Yes, I would definitely return if I find myself in Bordeaux again.

The Hotel is 6 tram stops (C or D). It is not suitable to go out and return at night if not by Taxi (less crowded streets, you can find yourself alone)..
The room has a bed, a TV and a bathroom. There is no closet, there are no tables (some hooks with a board on top) No, you will not find drawers, four hangers for everyone. You will only find one bath towel (for everything). Come on, if you go as a couple you will have to ask permission to move around it. The average breakfast (I don't know where other travelers have had breakfast, but not in this hotel) The first day they ran out of the fruit salad in front of me, and they didn't get any more.

A very warm welcome thanks to qualified, competent and very pleasant staff.
After a disastrous incident, we were devastated, it was then that the two gentlemen at reception, through their courtesy and patience, without forgetting a little touch of humor, were able to ease our tensions. Thank you !
The price as well as the room are correct, last minute availability for a reasonable price and possibility of entering or leaving the room at any time, practical for bus/train timetables.

Absolutely avoid.
Prices displayed on the sites 70 euros to attract the customer which have nothing to do with the reality of the billing (250 euros!!!) for a bare and dilapidated room.
The delirium of marketing where the customer promise is not delivered and the value for money is dismal.
I have available the photo of the table in the reception hall which shows that the prices of the rooms range from 69 euros to 359 euros for the same category!!! Or from 109 to 499 euros!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction following my recent experience with your establishment. As a hospitality industry professional, I was shocked by the lack of flexibility and empathy demonstrated during my attempt to rebook.

Indeed, after contacting your hotel to adjust my reservation due to a flight cancellation, I was categorically refused, under the pretext of the conditions of sale in force. Although I am aware of these conditions, I would have hoped for some understanding from your team, given the exceptional situation.

The person on the phone, although probably limited in their powers, did nothing to help me. I believe that an exemption could have been considered, especially given that I was not asking for cancellation but simply for the modification of my reservation. Additionally, refusing to provide a document to facilitate a refund with the airline resulted in an additional fee of 350 euros for me.

This type of behavior is in no way what I expect from quality customer service. It seems essential to me that adjustments be made to your procedures in order to better meet customer needs and strengthen their loyalty.

Consequently, it goes without saying that I cannot recommend your establishment to my colleagues or my contacts, and I will think seriously before considering a future visit. I hope my comments will be taken into consideration to improve your practices and provide a better customer experience in the future.

The rooms are very small and cramped. Far from everything, you can walk a few blocks in search of the tram that goes and returns to the center. The staff speaks only French. The worst thing is the breakfast room, everyone lined up like in a prison eating food and drinks, not to mention repeating something, it takes a long time and it fills up completely. Very uncomfortable

Hello,
When you're looking for an Inn, you're looking for the Best Award. This criterion is met by the Pension BB St Jean. But once Certified for the Comfort Required by the Award, what also matters and ABOVE ALL is the welcome, the relationship, the way the staff looks at the client, listening to the request or complaint and the appropriate response. I was lucky that Mr Aldo handled my "Reservation file" a little complex, then I had the immense joy to be helped in all my steps especially by Eva, Tatiana but by all the staff in fact. I said, "See you next year."
With regard to breakfast: Simple but fresh every morning and at will, which suits the gourmet that I am.
Bravo!
