2. Public transport is not very well connected, although uber costs only 6 to 7 euros to reach main station gare saint jean Bordeaux.
3. Rooms are super tiny at least the one which we took private room with double bed and own bathroom.
4. Breakfast is cheap and good but only if you need something quick to eat,it's not lavish spread ,fair enough for 3 euros.
5. Beds are not very great .linen looked bit dirty.
6. Towels are not includes cost 3 euros.
7.no food in hotel except a vending machine and microwave.
8. The Big big advantage was staff is very kind and friendly.
9. Baggage storage costs 2 euro per bag .
10. Wi-Fi does not work, luckily we had French number with unlimited data so no issue but cannot imagine for travellers.
Overall considering the costly and expensive options in Bordeaux this one wins for those who are on short trip who are spending much time in city and coming back for sleeping only.
Whilst I realised this hotel was slightly out of the way I did not realise it was in the middle of an industrial estate in a mostly abandoned part of town barring an encampment of people we walked past to get there. We left after about 10 minutes and found accommodation elsewhere.
It should not be attempted by anyone on foot.
Until the development of this area is complete, the hotel should make clear that, without vehicular transport, it is not a sensible option.
Once there(!) the room was on the small side (we new this) but clean. However, our sleep was broken by late arrivals, a dog and a naughty baby - who cried occasionally in the middle of the night! Not sure what paper they used for the walls...
We won't be going back! There are lots of other hotels closer to the Gare - slightly more expensive but...
Cons: Tiny room, tiny toilet (paying an extra), no towells (you have to pay 3 euros for a microfiber towel that is the one I could use to dry my car), cheap and horrible breakfast, holes in the bed sheet, the hotel is located in a dark industrial area close to the river. I don't recommend to go for a walk at night. I reckon if you are a crack dealer it is a fantastic place. The man in the hotel reception is not very nice. Paying the two towels the room cost around 60 euros. I prefer to pay 100 euros in a proper hotel.
Pros: Free parking. At least the room was clean. The woman in charge of the breakfast was so nice and spoke spanish.
The free parking was good to leave the car and sleep in a clean renovated room. AC was working and we turned it off to get the air from the window. Perhaps a pest net might serve in order to be able to stay on open window without bothering any mosquitos.
Easy checkin and no check out as the key is a six-digit code you get with your invoice.
Shared toilet always occupied (2 per 100 rooms or so) and really not clean.
hallway light coming out through the door seal on all night.
Room very poorly insulated.
Put 50€ more if you need it for a real room elsewhere because the c is a shame to put it online.
