The room was large, the bed comfortable and the staff friendly. However, my room was located in the basement and smelled quite strongly of pipes and felt very cold. The hotel is very well located a few meters from a tram stop, you can reach the center in 5 minutes. The room is not bad, but it lacks general maintenance: bathroom with broken pieces, peeling ceiling, broken tiles, etc. The bed was nice and the staff wonderful. We had breakfast for €11 and we really liked the buffet. Great place to stay and continue enjoying the city.

Understaffed...we had to wait a while before we were attended to as there was only one person at the reception and she was on an official call. Then yesterday morning, we had firemen barging into the room to ask us to leave as a fire had broken out two doors away from us. I was still in bed as it was 8am. However, there was no fire alarm sounded at all which I thought was strange. Anyway after about an hour standing out in the cold, we were allowed to reenter.The firemen were doing their duty but had we heard the alarm, it would have been more believable.

Came back for the second time. Practical because close to the tram on foot, free parking on site, quiet, varied and good quality breakfast, accommodation faithful to the photos, clean, comfortable bedding. Good value for money for this accommodation.

The hotel is well located and we easily found a free parking space. The accommodation was spacious for a family of 4. However, it was very cold in the accommodation. We wanted to add a blanket but they were very dirty, full of hair of all colors from the previous occupants. The same goes for the dishes that we had to rewash before using them. We had paid a deposit of 100 euros for cleaning the kitchen but it seems that those residents before us did not take the trouble to do it...

We had a good experience of this place, staying in one of their apartments. Although the passing of the years is noticeable in some details, we were comfortable. Our apartment had a double bed (two beds joined together) and the sofa bed had another large double bed, so 4 people could sleep comfortably. The kitchen in our case was used for breakfast, it is equipped with everything necessary and, BEWARE!!, it is necessary to clean it upon departure, otherwise they charge an additional fee (at check-in they informed us very well about this).
GREAT LOCATION: It may certainly seem that you are far from the center of Bordeaux, nothing could be further from the truth. Just a 5-minute walk away there is a tram line C stop that takes you to Plaza de los Quinconces in 10 minutes. Even by car you are in 10 minutes at the Cite du Vin or the Darwin Space.

We last stayed here 8 years ago during which time it has gone downhill. The first room we were allocated had mould all in the shower. We asked for a change to one which had just a shower ( for our own access needs) which was in the roof space. The bathroom here absolutely stank the whole of the 3 days we were there. Indeed after being shut up during the day we had to leave the door and window open to try and get some fresh air in. The kitchen facilities are in urgent need of updating as well as the overall decor. The staff were very good and parking on site and near the tram routes are the only plus points. There is no way we would ever consider going there again.

Hotel in a secluded location but perfect for visiting Bordeaux and its surroundings by public transport. Nearby supermarkets that made it possible for us to use the kitchen. Friendly staff. Comfortable apartment although you could improve cleaning by removing dead insects from the walls and ceiling and occasionally cleaning the windows of bird droppings.
