Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble, good food and atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone looking overnight accommodation. I would certainly stay there again without hesitation. A++++

If you need to visit the Manchester Royal Infirmary then this hotel is perfect. It is right next to the hospital and it has lots of local amenities close by and within easy walking distance. This is the best Travelodge hotel that I have stayed at. The parking was inexpensive, the rooms and hotel facilities were excellent for the price and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at this hotel for a couple of times now and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. My room was adequate for what I needed and there was a ‘top up’ facility if I ran out of tea/coffee or needed fresh towels etc. This is a great service. Thank you.

This particular Travelodge is very very good. Recently refurbished it is clean, and well maintained. Staff are very professional and friendly. Safe parking is a godsend this close to Manchester and only £5 for 24 hours. Bargain ! We were visiting family locally and this fitted the bill perfectly. We stayed in a family room with 2 single beds and a double. We walked out one day to the local park and visited the local art gallery too. All nearby. Perfect for 3 Sisters away. Price was very reasonable too. All in all a great place to stay and would thoroughly recommend.

The hotel was clean and comfortable; the food offering was good value and the service was friendly. I felt at home in my room, which was quiet and had all the facilities I needed for a one night business trip.

The place is basic but clean. We liked the bar downstairs, great pizza and really lovely staff. They made me a proper margarita cocktail, so they cannot do anything wrong in my eyes 😂 The room was clean and comfortable, although not much space to put your clothes away other than a few hangers on a rail. Very warm, but you can open the window or turn off the heater so no problem. Good bed and excellent pillows! Nice late checkout at 12pm. It is used for some emergency/temp accommodation, so expect to see a range of clients, but not chaotic at all. The lovely lady at the bar made me the best cup of tea in the morning for free. Definitely no frills, but good enough for the price. Not the most beautiful area, but for less than a fiver you can Uber it to the city centre. Hotel offers parking for a charge, and also you have to pay £3 per day to get decent internet. Breakfast not included. It’s served till 10am though, so you don’t have to get up at stupid o’clock. I would stay again!

Pleasant stay for OMD at the Apollo. Plenty of parking, reception was efficient and the room great. On our visit there was clearly an issue in the kitchen, with some items not available, including chips and our order taking quite a while to arrive. However both of the young girls working reception and the bar worked incredibly hard to ensure that the issues didn’t unduly affect our experience.
