From arriving to departing all the staff were attentive and professional. Emily on reception was so lovely- a credit to front of house staff. We were upgraded to a king room and when we checked in a bottle of champagne and chocolates awaited us - such a lovely touch. Andrew the concierge “what a guy”. We will definitely be back. Best hotel in Manchester.

Stayed for a one night break with family. All staff were welcoming, cheerful and attentive. The bedrooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and with every amenity you could wish for. Everything of the highest quality. Unusually we were given rooms next door to each other which almost never happens. Thank you. Breakfast is freshly cooked, plentiful and again of the highest quality. The hotel is a five minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly station and close to shops and restaurants. We will return to this lovely hotel.

Hotel is very smart and sleek. Looks great on the outside and first impressions of the hotel were really good. The fire was burning when we arrived and I loved the stand up dog in reception. Really happy with the room, very clean and the bed was so comfortable - had a great sleep on both nights. Sky TV included which was a bonus. The shower was great. We had a bottle of Prosecco placed in the room complimentary because we were celebrating a joint birthday-although we don’t drink Prosecco this was a really nice gesture! We made the most of the bar area on the first night which was also very comfortable and stylish. I had a really yummy cocktail. All the staff were so friendly and professional throughout the whole stay-cannot fault this at all. The only minor niggles I had was that it took a while to get through to room service when we arrived. We were on hold for some time and passed between people until we got through. Having said this, the leek and potato soup we ordered was delicious! Also I didn’t rate the breakfast Rosti I had-I did find it a bit tasteless and there was no tomato in it but the menu states it had tomato- this may have made it a bit tastier. However everything else was really good and our evening meal (which I will review separately) was outstanding. The little niggles won’t mark this place down because it was brilliant and we will definitely be returning.

My partner booked Dakota as a surprise for my birthday and the hotel certainly didn’t disappoint. From when we entered the building we could tell this hotel would be special. We were greeted by the very friendly hotel porters and were then checked in by a very polite gentleman. My partner unbeknownst to me had organised for balloons, rose petals, champagne, flowers and chocolates to be in the room on arrival, when entering this completely took my breath away. The room was immaculate and there’s even Sky TV which is rare in most hotels. The grill restaurant was superb, the waiting staff really can’t do enough for you and the food is outstanding. Overall all staff are very efficient, professional and warm natured. My partner and I frequent many hotels around the UK and this hotel by far set the bar high. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable. No doubt we will return soon.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay here over 3 days, originally booked for 2, but so lovely we stayed extra night. Valet parking excellent, and a very warm welcome from Adrian who looked after us exceptionally well. The suite on the seventh floor was amazing, his and her bathrooms! Entrance lobby with 3 crittel effect sliding doors to left, right and ahead, opening into a very spacious luxurious bedroom. Bathrooms, one with steam shower, other with roll top bath and vanity area, stunning and spotless. All decor in the public spaces fabulous.Breakfasts beautiful, cocktails very good too. This was an excellent anniversary weekend we thoroughly enjoyed.
