Standard room, quiet, clean and comfortable, with good breakfast. Only thing that lets it down is poor seating within the room. Parking was fine but you need to register your vehicle (easy). Conveiniant location just off the M4, but still quiet.

Me and my wife and 15 year old son who has autism booked Premier Inn quite a lot, we booked this one for 2 nights as my elder son lives nearby and we wanted to see our 4 year old granddaughter and 1 month old Grandson. On arrival on Friday 28th May 2021 after a drive from our holidays in Devon, we was greeted by a friendly smiley face on reception from a young man. We got to the room and there was only 2 tea bags and 2 coffees and only 1 bath towel, my wife popped back down to reception and the gentleman said give me 5 minutes and I will get everything for you, he soon popped up to the door with all the bits we asked for. The following morning we saw the cleaning lady and asked for a few more drinks and if she could empty the waste bin for us.. We arrived back to the hotel this evening and all was done. The free wifi is very fast compared to other Premier Inn's we have visited so II havent had to pay for the quicker wifi. This is the 2st time we have stayed hhere but it wont be the last

We regularly choose Premier Inn because in our opinion their standards are reliably consistent and this stay was no exception. The rooms are furnished simply but have all you need for an overnight stop. Our room (no. 32) was on the first floor, spacious, clean and quiet (with no rooms either above or below) hence we had a superb nights sleep on very comfortable beds. The free wifi is fine although it’s slightly irritating that it has to be reconnected each time your device has been closed. Heating is on a room by room basis which we prefer, rather than unbearably hot hotels where one has little control over the temperature. However arriving late on a chilly wet and windy autumn night meant that the room was rather cold when we first entered but it soon warmed up. Covid-19 restrictions dealt with well. Thanks Premier Inn for another great stay.

Firstly, let me say that as my husband is disabled and when we travel we find Premier Inns accessible and most suitable for his needs. Up until this visit we have had no problems. Indeed , upon our arrival staff were very helpful when we had an issue that restricted my husbands ability to get off his scooter in the room.
However, later on, just before our dinner booking we had an issue with the facilities as the handle on the toilet became inoperative. We were unable to flush.
The problem was reported and we went to dinner. However, upon our return, we were told maintenance was at another site. No other solution was forthcoming. I suggested that possibly we could temporarily use the staff facilities but this proved unworkable. Whilst all this was going on my husband was increasingly getting agitated and distressed.
Personal Care issues for him need to be attended too promptly ! We felt our only option was to return home and as this trip was also a shopping trip for my birthday we were both equally disappointed.
Surely, a fully functioning toilet is a basic requirement but even more so for a disabled person.

Sparse, dank and miserable… the outside, the inside and the staff. This is nothing short of a truckers stop and fails the Premier Inn brand miserably. The Beefeater next door was shut owing to ‘a fridge/freezer failure’ and it seemed like a blessing. The free WiFi is more throttled back than usual and struggles to allow a photo text in or out. The room had less furniture than a prison cell and the towels were so thin I thought I’d received a letter from the manager. The pillows were like cream crackers. I slept, and left. The location is simply bleh. It’s a car park on a business park on a roundabout. Drive past it, or stop before it is my best advice. I use the Premier Inn brand a lot, but this one could put anyone off the entire chain. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.

Stayed at the premier inn Swindon west. Booked a meal deal for two for 7pm. On arriving for dinner about 10 mins early I was informed by a staff member that our table was not ready and I was happy to wait. Despite people arriving after us who were seated immediately at 7.30 I approached a member of staff only to be told that food was unavailable due to an alleged problem with the gas and to go to reception for a refund which I was then informed would take five working days. It was then decided they could serve food. My partner decided to eat which I was informed I had to pay for. On going for a complementary breakfast I was then left sitting around for approximately 15 to 20 mins. I eventually went to reception to make a complaint but was advised to fill in a complaint form. I asked for the duty manager but was told he was on another site and could not be contacted by phone. Reading reviews of premier inn it seems they do not respond to complaints. I found the staff very unhelpful and not really interested. As someone who regularly stays in premier inns I would not use them again due to the rudeness of staff and their lack of interest. I left the breakfast room without eating and unbelievably the general manager greeted with the words”good morning trouble”!!!!! It would appear premier inn are willing to take your money but not provide the service that has been paid for. Totally bad experience which premier inn did not seem to care about, I feel they could and should have dealt with this a lot better.
Room was not clean to the point where I found hairs in the bath and bits of tissue on the carpet which was bad in itself. I have bookings for the summer which I will be cancelling and never using them again

We found all the staff at the Premier Inn and Beefeater to be very welcoming, polite helpful.
Richard & Tannaz were very helpful, friendly and eager. They also produced a load of sweets for our child as well as colouring sheets which our boy was amazed with.
The rooms were of acceptable cleanliness, tidy and well stocked with tea / coffee
The food was fantastic, we were served by Kaylan and Debbie in the mornings, it wasn't amazingly busy, and the food was top notch. Service was with a smile, and it was easy to have a polite conversation.
Evening meals were also good, much busier than the breakfast, but still the food was amazing, and our waitresses, Shannon and Zoe catered for our every need promptly and with a smile.
The only down points to the visit was a faulty light in our room, which my partner reported at reception, and the Wifi is absolutely terrible, even when you buy premium, it really is not worth it, as it keeps on dropping out and not working (complaint lodged with Virgin Media)
Aside from those two minor issues, great job! Would definitely recommend a visit and a stay

Premier Inns normally offer good quality accommodation. During this stay, my room heater was not working correctly. ZOE (manager) was extremely helpful and was keen to ensure that all was working well. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her and her help was greatly appreciated. She ensured that my room heater was working so that I could enjoy my stay in the comfort of a warm room. Thank you.

We needed somewhere for a night stop when attending a funeral in Swindon. Our first choice of hotel was not available so we chose to try out the Premier Inn. Everything was fine: clean, comfortable good size rooms, and quiet. However, it was very functional but not very memorable. Great for a short stopover. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. However, the music in the reception was rather loud and intrusive, and the reception generally looked in need of a little update. My parents had an accessible room on the ground floor and we had a double on the top floor. In the double room the shower was over the bath, but the bath is rather high sided and there is no grab rail if like me you only have short legs and dodgy hips! We had the meal deal in the Beefeater, which was very good value. The menu does not state which items are not included and how much the supplements are, which would be very useful.
