Came here a few times about 30 years ago and actually stayed the night and had dinner and were always impressed – as someone once said it is never good to go back with fond memories – and so it was with Haycock….
Really enjoyed staying in this hotel, the room was large and the bed was comfy. There were tea and coffee making facilities. The village itself is beautiful and pub opposite is worth a visit. The staff were friendly.
Nice hotel good value, ideal for romantic weekend, though why you would choose Peterborough as a romantic destination is beyond me. Rooms are good size large comfy beds nice bathroom etc.

Visited the Haycock for a large charity ball hosted at the hotel this weekend and stayed overnight as well. All of the staff were very helpful, warm and welcoming. They really went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable.
