We had a lovely stay at Evelyn's B&B. She welcomed us back after a five year absence and it was just as good as our first stay. A great Irish breakfast with warm scones as well. I can recommend Avondoyle as very good value for money.

Comfortable home in large garden, ample parking, guest lounge and dining room, good breakfast, very warm welcome, friendly and helpful, tea tray on arrival, well located for visiting Limerick or surrounding countryside.

We stayed at Avondoyle for 2 nights during our tour of West Ireland. Evelyn was an excellent hostess who works extremely hard to ensure all her guests are happy & catered for. Located approx. 15mins drive to the west of Limerick in a quiet rural location near Dooradoyle .

Evelyn's home is wonderful and peaceful. Great rooms, big and clean. The best breakfast we had on our trip, the scones are fantastic. Eveyln is a wonderful hostess and I would stay here again. Would stay here again, the drive to Limerick was really close.

Hello I am wondering if this hotel was close to Limerick University>?
If you are driving it's about 20 minutes. If you're planning on taking the bus, it's not close at all. If you don't have your own car and you plan on staying here I would suggest taking a taxi. But the University is not within walking distance and neither is the bus stop.
