Atrium looks great Layout of bar and restaurant very good Location good View from room was the booking in area inside hotel Yep I kid you not and I was charged 200 a night for the pleasure Car park of 9 euros per day was extra like really ?! Remote not working complained and received a bag of hair shampoo had to ring again to get remote fixed Staff were professional but not that friendly Underneath it if you delve into the hotel it looks like a 4 star but isn’t in my opinion Couldn’t get a drink after 11 unless in your room Overpriced and not that friendly don’t think I’ll be back to be honest

Fabulous hotel. Have stayed in Galway many times. The Galmount is by far the best. Greeted by Ramaus on front desk he was super. If every hotel had a person like Ramaus on front desk holidays would run very smoothly. Super efficient. The room was really lovely and spotless. Breakfast was delicious. Bar staff excellent, lovely atmosphere. Car parking a plus underground lift right up to reception. 3 minute walk to eyre square. Definitely a Hotel to put on your list.

Beautiful hotel, accommodations & super friendly staff! We stopped for a late night snack & cocktail at the one restaurant. We met a fantastic waitress, Katelynn who was very helpful with her food & drink suggestions - plus GREAT to chat with ~ She and the other wait staff were so personal and friendly, it made our stay even that much more better!! Thank You!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a midweek graduation breakaway. We parked in the underground carpark at the hotel (€9pn). Our room was on the first floor and I worried it would be loud but it never was, there was a bottle of prosecco and a note from my mum waiting for us in the room which was a lovely surprise. The room was perfect, a bath,a huge bed, and lovely Elemis products to use in the bathroom. There was also well working AC which was great. The location is 10/10 2 minutes walk to eyre Square which is a hub of food, music and culture, we couldn't have asked for better. On the first night we came back to the hotel for drinks, the cocktails were very sour and a bit disappointing, and the lights were turned on at 11pm an obvious sign to head up to bed. The first morning we had breakfast in bed which you choose and order the night before for €5pp. The second morning we went down for breakfast, we waited a while unsure where to go to the buffet or wait to order, its a mix of both, you can order some things off the menu and go to the buffet for other, and a waiter brings you a small selection of toast and pastries, lacking basic things like a water fountain. Food was fine. We checked out after this and the girl that helped us was lovely. Good value for a lovely room and location, we also could have had free access to leisure facilities in their spa next door but we actually didn't get a chance to avail of them which I definitely would next time. All in all a great enjoyable stay.

Can not fault this hotel. Lovely rooms, tasty food in the bar & restaurant, friendly staff, pool & spa spot on, ample car parking, 5 minute walk from the city centre. The bar staff were particularly friendly, Jimmy from Cavan took great care of us every evening we wanted food and/or drink. You will not find a better place to stay in Galway city.
