Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a charming B&B hosted by 2 wonderful people, John & Delia. The home is beautifully decorated. The traditional Irish breakfast was delicious and plenty. The location was very convenient to the city center. We loved the views & the walk along the bay. The rooms were very clean with scented sheets and soft towels. I felt like I was in a Spa. All the class of a 5 star hotel nestled into a quaint B&B. We hope to return to this lovely place. Thank you John & Delia for sharing your beautiful home.

My sister and I were traveling around Ireland, making reservations as we went, and were lucky enough to come across this gem. From the moment we arrived, John made us feel at home, and was exceptionally gracious and accommodating, despite the late hour. The next morning, there was an amazing full Irish breakfast, and John gave us advice on how to best get around to see the sights we wanted to see while we were in town. The location is wonderful, with easy access to transit, and right across the street from the water. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, and hope to be back to visit and stay at Annagh House again soon!

This house stinks of DOG & fried food! There is a large and hairy dog in the kitchen when the owner is cooking breakfast (we only realised this on the last day) - so don't say you haven't been warned. The dog also sleeps in the kitchen overnight - yuk!

As I started to work in Dublin, my company paid me a B&B until I find a flat to stay. I arrived in Dublin late at night and realised that the adress on the website did not exist. As I asked my way there, some very friendly woman that I met on the street called the owner for me to get the correct adress. I should have been warned as she told how extremely rude he was. The owner never even thanked me for mentionning that the adress on his website was wrong.

He asked me to pay for the whole stay straight which I was very surprised as the company mentionned everything was paid. He said it was not true and that I had to pay now. However, the day after, I learned that he had agreed to invoice the company which he aknowledged later but refused to give me the money back, even just on the days that were left. The owner is just a very greedy and unfaithful person.

If only that was the worse! On the fourth day, the eggs at the breakfast were not fresh and just a few seconds after eating them, I had to run to the toilets and was sick for the whole day. And apparently cleaning is not included as I had to ask for the bathroom to be cleaned after this "little problem".
The room was fairly clean at the beginning but they apparently consider that they do not need to clean it for the whole stay and I had to ask for the sheets and towels to be replaced after a week.
If you are a little more careful about details and look in the corners, you will find that this place is actually quite dirty.

Although the location is perfect, I would recommend you not to go there. There are so many better B&B in the area (I tried 3 others on this same road)

John and Delia were excellent hosts and very accommodating. The room we stayed in was quite nice, the shower was excellent and the room very quiet as we looked out onto the backyard. The B & B is a short bus ride from Dublin Centre. We purchased a 3 day bus pass and often went into Dublin and back twice a day without a problem. It is also a short walk from Clontarf center where there is a large grocery store. The B & B faces the harbor and is across the road from a jogging path. It is also a short taxi ride from the airpot.

As a young couple we stayed here for a week, arriving late one night we were warmly greeted by John and Delia. We settled in straight away and relaxed. Breakfast was wonderful and our hosts were very knowledgeable about places to see and things to do! Our room was lovely and we felt like we were staying with family rather than just paying guests! Would love to stay here again when we return to Ireland in the hopefully not too distant future!! Thanks again from oz :)

The rooms are tired and very basic. Breakfast was poor and very obviously the cheapest they could buy. On the positive the location was good and owner was helpful if not lacking in manners occasionally.

This was the best place we stayed in Ireland on our two and a half week visit in March. The Devlins are fantastic hosts who made us feel like family!!! Very convenient to the city centre.

I just checked their website and you can click on availability but none is showing. Scroll down to the "contact us" portion and send a message to the owners. They were very responsive when I communicated with them. I know they close for several months but the current calendar appears that they are closed throughout 2019.
