The DUBLIN ONE Hotel garners acclaim for its cleanliness and stylish atmosphere, with guests frequently complimenting the modern rooms and unique, tropical-themed decor. While the hotel's location is appreciated for its convenience to Croke Park and the city center, it is sufficiently distanced from the city's commotion. The amenities, including high-quality bathroom products and in-room coffee, are well-regarded, although some guests note the rooms can feel compact. The service receives mixed feedback, with reports of both friendly staff and occasional slow service. Opinions on value also vary, with some guests praising the rates and others questioning the cancellation policies and extra fees.

I felt really comfortable with all the information/communication throughout the entire process, from booking to checking out. The value was excellent, the space was high-quality, and the staff was nice all around. There was a little weirdness, as there always is, due to the different currencies when booking; however, I was contacted within 24 hours to get it resolved.

The place was far enough from downtown that I didn't feel that I was getting gouged from location proximity to the main area but close enough that it was an easy 15-20 minute walk to any tourist site.

The room was definitely top quality. It was nice enough that I felt at east and relaxed, but not over the top that I thought that I might be overpaying for something that I didn't really want. My favorite was that the default was that they cleaned the room and laundered the linens, but you had the ability to decline if you really didn't. I dislike when other hotels' default is for them not to clean the room leaving the guest with having to request.

Also, I didn't even need to use my travel charger! There were enough USB ports in the bed and/or around the room to charge your electronics.

When I read a customer review, I always think if they would stay there again. For those reading this, I would say that absolutely would stay here again!

We stayed 2 nights in the One. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. The double room was perfect for our stay with a nice and comfy bed, large TV and all adjustable A/C.
The bathroom was as clean as it was possible to be. The large shower was appreciated after a day of wandering in the city. Only a 10 minute walk to O'Connell street and the price of the room made it very great value.

My friend and I booked a table for brunch at 11am and found Dublin One so nice that we stayed until after dinner.

On arrival we were given a free smoothie shot and fresh granola, filtered coffee and bottled water.

Jackie was attentive, friendly and helpful, a beautiful person to chat with on a leisurely Friday.

The brunch menu was fun with nice choices. Very tasty and fresh. We then sampled some signature cocktails and all I can say is wow 🤩

Delicious food, drinks, atmosphere and staff. Will definitely return.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Stayed for 2 nights in July, Saturday to Monday. At first hotel seemed lovely, clean (so we thought) lovely reception etc… On Sunday morning after a shower I opened a towel to find human feces folded into the towel, it was clear then that our room was not cleaned or checked before we checked in. We brought this to the attention of the manager on site and the towels were changed. On Monday morning at 10:30 right after getting out of the shower a cleaner let herself into our room while I was undressed without knocking when check out wasn’t until 12pm. The manager offered us to come back at a discounted rate so we requested the night of a concert we have in Dublin, we were quoted €380 for a standard double room when on their website a standard double room rate is currently €340 for the same night.

Finding feces in the towel is a massive health concern that the hotel didn’t seem to care about the impact it could have had.

Wouldn’t recommend.

Dear Aoife, Thank you for your feedback concerning your stay with us two months ago. We have investigated this both internally and with our linen provider. I must admit that I find it strange that you would submit your review 2 months after your stay and after enquiring about an overnight rate for a concert date next year. We pride ourselves on the highest levels of quality checks by both our linen provider and our housekeeping team, and stringent checks are completed before any guest room is released for occupation. When you requested clean towels during your stay, we delivered these immediately and removed the requested towels to laundry. While we value all feedback, it is crucial for us to safeguard the reputation we have built based on our unwavering commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. Regards, David Vaughey, Deputy General Manager.

Generally a nice, modern hotel l, however, the stay was hampered by some service issues. Not in the nicest area especially walking to and from the centre, however, minor issue. Modern hotel with good decor throughout. Brunch was very good and service efficient. Room was small which was okay bit hardly any storage and pretty limiting for a stay beyond a couple of nights. We could hang 5 pieces of clothing but the rest had to stay in our cases. Service was patchy - we almost ran out of toilet roll one night as it hadn't been replenished by housekeeping. One of us went down to request more and waited around 45 mins until I irately had to go down again to physically wait and carry some up. One evening we requested an iron and ironing board to iron our shirts to go out for a birthday meal. Waited over 30 mins for this not to appear and had to leave to get a cab to the restaurant with a different outfit planned. No idea if the iron ever arrived. Seems like service requests are slow or forgotten about altogether. Replenishing basics like toilet paper should be easy to do rather than having to practically beg to get it. Could not see how you could call reception rather than having to walk down. No info provided on arrival or in the room. As we checked out we were not asked how our stay was.

Paying 160€ for an overnight stay without breakfast is more than enough. Unfortunately the room was very basic and didn't smell fresh. To make matters worse: the room was located on the ground floor with only a very small window that could not be opened. Which is actually a good thing considering there is a very large and noisy generator located just outside. The room had a view on this generator and airco motors that made a lot of noise all through the night. In the morning I woke up to slamming doors and the sound of vacuüm cleaners in het hallway.
The staff was friendly. The bathroom was well equiped. But that's about it. Noisy, not well isolated room.

Stayed here for one night. Was such a lovely hotel, decor is quirky and beautiful. We added the option of breakfast which was amazing! Would really recommend adding this on as the food and service is outstanding! There was the option for an extra €30 to check in early which was ideal to freshen up after travelling. Staff were helpful with giving us recommendations of where was nice to go while we were here. Taxi to and from the airport was roughly €18-23. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Stayed in this hotel for a city break, and I was very well impressed.
I stayed in a small double room, was big enough for one person. Comfortable bed, big tv, warm room (even if outside was -5º), got shower.
Although I only stayed 2 nights the housekeeping went into the room and changed towels and made the bed, even arrange my clothes nicely.
I didn't have the breakfast included but I had breakfast in the hotel, and I would say that worth to pay and have it there. You will have different options on the menu that will suit everyone, and the service was really good, very friendly. All the staff I meet was very friendly.
The location is good, as the bus (700) comes from the airport and stops few minutes away... Although the hotel is 10/15 minutes away from the centre (walking) but still a very good location, and around you have places where you can eat or buy some food.
If I will visit Dublin again I will stay here again.

+ The hotel is located in a safe environment about outside the center, but that is within 20-30 min walk, many buses depart directly from the intersection at the hotel. It was possible for us several times without problems in the adjacent residential streets to find a free and free parking. Friendly reception. The hotel is quite new and modern, everything worked and was clean. The rooms are very small in area, but high, which ensures a fairly reasonable price. For us it was enough, we spent two romantic conscious sleepless nights. In the bathroom is comparatively much space, as a couple we could shower together. Excellent individually prepared breakfast with many choices, very attentive staff in the restaurant.
- One small thing, but we didn't mind: couples should be aware that a) the bed is only about 140 cm wide and borders the wall on two sides, b) the mattress is very soft, when I lay on the bottom as we usually do, I sank in deep and c) the room has a wooden floor and a concrete ceiling, which causes hall effects when you are busy with each other.... There is a 30 euro charge for checking in earlier, which may be fine by today's standards. However, no room was reserved for us despite prior telephone request, we received more or less by chance the last already cleaned free room. Here I wonder what the performance of the hotel is to charge the fee. In many other hotels you can check in earlier for free if rooms are already available. You can not open the windows, ventilation is via the air conditioning, which failed several times in the evening / night with us.

This was a fresh, modern and seemingly new hotel that was very reasonably priced. The room was cleaned daily and had a contemporary feel without being too clinical. The bed was large and comfortable, the pillows were clearly of high quality and the bathroom was well furnished and modern. We would certainly recommend and would certainly consider staying again when in Dublin. However, it is taxi ride (approx €10-12) into the city centre or a 20-30 minute walk and the area in which it is situated feels a little ‘local’. We were also disturbed several times during our stay by cleaning staff as we slept and the self check in can clearly be intimidating and quite unwelcome for some. Overall, a very good stay and we’d certainly seriously consider returning.

Coffee and Juice were extra when we stayed in June 2024. Coffee was average anyhow, it's worth walking directly across the street to Insomnia Coffee. dont plan an early activity if your having breakfast. staff are very slow at taking your order and even slower at bringing it to your table. we were on a tour bus and half our tour ordered breakfast and after an hour of waiting, hadnt eaten and had to boiard the bus without breakfast after paying for it.
