The staff are unfailingly helpful. The area is quiet and yet offers easy access to the centre of Dublin either by bus or the Dart overground which is literally almost next door. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are wonderful. I had the best poached egg ever!

I have stayed in this wonderful guesthouse on many previous occasions & it does not disappoint....yes the rooms are dated but spotlessly clean...yes it is not the epitomy of modern architecture but a lovingly restored Victorian building.... but what it offers in customer service

I enjoyed it last time, and this time it’s just as good. I’m already looking forward to the breakfast, which is one of the highlights of a stay here. In Lansdowne road right next to the rugby stadium. Shame I couldn’t go to a match.

Ariel House is in an ideal location for anyone arriving in Dublin by car. There is free parking in the forecourt and Lansdowne Road station is barely a couple of hundred yards away with frequent trains to the town centre for a couple of euros. Our room, 252, was supposedly a

You sent this question not to Ariel House but me (a recent reviewer). I our experience they answered our questions quickly ( via email) particularly about how best to get to the hotel from the airport and other questions. If they are not busy I would not be surprised that they would accommodate you. We arrived very early in the day and they watched our luggage for us while we went out and placed it in our room once it was ready. I hope you enjoy your stay here as much as we did.

There was a tv in our room, but not very big, there is a small reception room. Suggest you ring and enquire.

The front parlor room with a big picture window, fireplace and piano. Is warm and inviting. On a large cabinet you will find a pod type coffeemaker, china tea/coffee cups and saucers, and at some times of the day, a platter of mini cake bites. It is a nice place to rest after walking all over Dublin or to read or catch up on emails in the evening. I don't think Ariel House offers a formal afternoon tea, however, their breakfast is fantastic.

do the bathrooms have a bathtub or onlya shower? we understand all bathrooms are en suite.
I can't answer for all of the rooms either, but mine was an enormous room and had a bathtub and a shower. My guess would be that most rooms have a bathtub.

Yes there are tubs in all the rooms - Ariel staff are excellent at matching a room to your needs so if you need something specific just drop them a mail or give them a call they are very approachable 💕
