Roxford Lodge Hotel is situated in the heart of Ballsbridge, one of Dublin's most fashionable and exclusive areas. It shares its location with that of the World's Embassies, the Royal Dublin Society (RDS), Lansdowne Road Rugby Stadium, and many other luxury hotels such as The Four Seasons and Jury's Hotel to name but a few. This elegant Victorian townhouse is only a short stroll from the bustling centre of cosmopolitan Dublin, and the city's main tourist attractions.

House was very clean and has all the facilities you need. We stayed here with a group of 9 and there was enough room for everybody. City center is at walking distance and bus to airport stops in front of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

I've stayed at the Roxford Lodge several times now and it always exceeds my expectations. I always feel right at home with Agnes and Des--it's like they're family! They love Americans, by the way. If you stay, please tell them that "Cousin Mark from America" sent you. (They'll

Location is perfect, near the city center. Parking is fine and free. The hotel and people who worked there are lovely. The perfect place to stay in a calm and nice area. (Continenal) breakfasts are delicious (toasts particularly).

Hop on Hop off is quite useful to see the important bits including a run up to Phoenix Park and over the river to the top of O'Connell Street. We went on the Green Bus which I think is run by Dublin's bus service. The Commentary is interesting, funny and gives you a feel of the city centre as a whole, and you can stop off where ever you like to experience more. We don't usually do bus tours but this was great.

how far is it from the city centre?
Sorry for the late reply, you’ve probably already been and gone to Ireland. Ill answer this question incase any other travellers see the answer. Its a 5-10min taxi ride into town. There are a ton of taxis driving around at decent prices. We taxi’d everywhere and it was fine. Some of the drivers were real characters. The hotel will happily call you a cab anytime you want. They were incredibly helpful.

While I did not stay in one of the townhouses, I would try messaging the Hotel and ask. The picture of the townhouse looks like at least one of them has leather sofa's. They do have a contact form on their website. I would ask the question there.

Do you have air conditioning?
Our rooms had air con but didn't use it. Ring the hotel, they are very helpful and it may be that some do and some don't
