Boasting grand staircases, magnificent crystal chandeliers and marble fireplaces, The Castle Hotel provides guests with a glimpse into the Georgian era while staying in touch with the demands of the modern world. We offer single, double, twin, triple and family rooms, all are en-suite and elegantly decorated in warm tones to offer both comfort and style to our guests. Our converted 19th Century wine cellars are the setting for the Castle Vaults Bar and Restaurant which serves a pre-theatre and an a la carte menu daily. The bar stocks a wide variety of craft beers, wines and spirits to please the most discerning of tastes. Each weekend the hotel offers live entertainment with traditional Irish music playing in the bar in the evenings from 9-11pm. The hotel has its own secured, gated private car park at a cost of €15 per night and the 747 Airlink airport shuttle stops just a 1 minute walk away. As far as local attractions go, Croke Park, The Hugh Lane Art Gallery, The Garden of Remembrance, The Abbey Theatre, The Gate Theatre and the James Joyce Cultural Centre are all just a short walk away.

We loved this hotel. From the minute we walked through the door we were made so welcome. The hotel has an unique character and elegance of a bygone age but with all the modern additions a modern traveller has come to expect. Our room was very clean and our beds were comfortable.

I stayed at this dwelling in August 2018. The experience was so upsetting to me that I just wanted to try and forget it all. But I think I should write a review to help others avoid what happened to me. I traveled alone from Boston to Dublin to attend a religious event. I am a

Does this hotel have a gym/fitness centre?
Yes. There was a small gym in the lower level when we stayed last summer. It had a limited number of machines but we were the only people I ever saw using it so it wasn’t a problem. The front desk also gave us ideas for running routes.

The Loft is probably the best room — it offers privacy and plenty of space. It’s well appointed and just right for the occasion.

That I don't know. There is plenty to see in Dublin. You could email the hotel you are staying at and ask them and most of the places will get you tickets for what you want to do.

What’s the best way to get there from the airport? Is there a close Airlink bus?
Hello, I sat outside the Castle Hotel one day for an hour & noticed blue double decker airport buses go past about every 15-20 minutes, with a stop about 50 metres from the hotel. Just chase up the address & link it to the airport transport & you should get the route no etc that you need. I hope this has helped you.

What’s the best way to get there from the airport? Is there a close Airlink bus?
We picked up our rental car (Enterprise) which had a GPS in the dash and used it to get to the Hotel. It worked but didn't know which side of the street the Otel was on. Airport Link Bus would have been a better plan. Pre-book, if you can, or buy at the airport. Be sure to have a drink in the Vault..Dinner there is food, too. Primary first night...walk down to O'Connor's!
