We stayed 1 night here on a weekend trip to Dublin. What we noticed immediately upon arrival was the very central location. Most of Dublin's attractions are in walking distance of the hotel. We had a rental car which you can park in a park house just 3 min walk from the hotel. The overnight rate for guests is 15 euro.
Coming in to the hotel we were greeted by Monty, the dog mascot of the hotel :-)
The rooms are not so big but modern, very clean and equipped with everything you need.
The staff are all friendly.
Unfortunately the breakfast experience was not 100% good. We came down to the breakfast room and on the first sight the buffet looked very good, well presented, a various selection of warm and cold food. I dont know what went wrong this morning but something was off. There was no butter, no juice, no jams, not all the selection of bread was ready. The empty jars/baskets were there with the labels but no food in it. The buffet was not finished. There was a huge discussion going on between the kitchen chef and the service girl. The chef was shouting several times to the service girl. When she came back she was friendly but you could see she was shaking up a bit by it all. Not something you want to hear while having breakfast on vacation. I think due to this all she also forgot my coffee. I ended up waiting 15min for a cup of coffee and only received it after asking twice to get it. When we left the breakfast there still was no juice or butter on the buffet. The rest of the buffet was very good, good quality also just unfortunate that the buffet was not set up fully when we came and the discussions between the staff.
Overall a good central hotel with nice room and a good breakfast.

We arrived in Dublin from the United States at about 7 a.m. After clearing customs and immigration, we took a taxi to the hotel where we found out room was ready! We were able to take a rest before meeting with friends in the Sinn Bin Bar downstairs. Our room was very nice although quite small. It also faced the corner of two noisy streets and I'm sure we could have asked for a quieter room but didn't feel like schlepping our luggage around. The bathroom was updated and had a nice (but small) shower. We have been to Dublin many times and knew the area where this hotel is located. It is central to many things you may want to do. There is a hop on/hop off bus stop right across the street. It is easy walking distance to Grafton Street and Temple Bar. The breakfast is incredible! If you walk away hungry, it is your fault. Lol. In addition to offering a full Irish breakfast, there are open sandwiches, meats and cheeses, fruits and pastries. If you want to have porridge, all you have to do is ask and they will bring it to you from the kitchen.

When you’re looking for a hotel in Dublin, I have to recommend The Mont Hotel , for several reasons!!! The welcome is great, nothing is to much trouble. Rooms are roomy, beds outstanding best night sleep in a hotel ever!! AC waterfall shower smart tv & coffee machine. Very clean and great views of Dublin. The location is ideal we walked into Grafton street the main shopping area in ten minutes. Visited Trinity College, had afternoon tea in the Shelbourne hotel outstanding!!! We returned to our comfortable room to get ready for Dinner, we had an incredible meal at The pearl brassiere next to the Merrion only five minutes from hotel. In the morning a buffet breakfast was provided plenty of juices & healthy options, including an awesome Irish breakfast. If you haven’t been to the Mont give it a try you will throughly enjoy the experience!!!

I was in Dublin for a business trip, and picked The Mont fairly arbitrarily. It was a good choice. The room was spacious, the amenities fine, and the location ideal for both my meetings and for just wandering around downtown.

But what made my stay particularly delightful were the staff. They were unfailingly courteous, helpful, and attentive. Two of the front desk staff were partricularly helpful to me. On my arrival I realized I had lost my phone after landing at the airport. Mariia quickly volunteered to call the airline and airline security to help me find it. And when I had a problem with the in-room land line, James wasted no time--he simply moved me to another room and made sure that phone worked. By the end of the week I felt that the desk staff and I were good friends.

I only ate breakfast at the hotel, sticking to a continental routine of cappuccino and croissants. Both were quite good, and the staff took good care of the diners. I got to know Fernanda, who was quite attentive.

As with any hotel, the staff are the key, and the staff here was terrific.

The hotel was fabulous! We couldn’t have asked for more. The location is perfect, within walking distance to Grafton Street, Temple Bar etc. Also a very easy bus service to the airport (757 drops you on the doorstep for only €7. The breakfast was delicious, wide variety of foods & plenty of it. The beds were soooooo comfortable & rooms extremely clean. Lastly, the staff were very welcoming and helpful on the front desk, including Monty the Dog!! Could not recommend this hotel enough :)

The Mont is a great spot to stay!
If you want a hotel which is close to the shops, museums and beautiful restaurants The Mont is ideal.
Service is always with a smile. Peter in the bar is just lovely! He set us up a lovely table in the bar for dinner and was such a jolly friendly guy during our stay. Our meal was delicious and everything served beautifully.
The beds are simply amazing. I don’t think you would find one anymore comfortable elsewhere. We stayed in a Dreamy Suite which overlooked the busy road but the traffic below was not intrusive.
Breakfast the next morning was self service buffet style with ample to choose from. Again the morning staff were attentive and on hand to provide service.
Monty was on patrol throughout our stay. She is quite obviously a very well loved and cared for dog with staff walking and playing with her regularly.
We will definitely return to this hotel. A really nice Birthday stay!

My wife and I spent 4 nights here whilst I was attending business meetings. The stay could have been so different had the reception service been more friendly and helpful. From the time we arrived, through various interactions until the receptionist forgot to order our taxi as requested and promised when we checked out, service was unhelpful and terse - so disappointing... thank goodness for Monty, the cutest canine customer relations 'pawficer', who was a welcome distraction from the mess behind the counter.
As for the rest? Not bad actually. Whilst the room and bedroom were very clean and comfortable, they are very small, and breakfast was good with a decent range of suitably prepared options. The pub, The Sin Bin, offered a good vibe and some nice pub food.
In short, not a bad property - just please sort out the front desk.

Went to The Mont 15th-18th March for St Patrick's weekend, the hotel is about 15 minutes walking into the city centre, from checking in to leaving it was great.
The checking in went well, greeted with a smile, explained about times of our breakfast, we had room 310 which overlooked a main road but once the window was closed you couldn't hear anything. Could do with blinds or nets up though.
The room had a big comfy bed which you nearly needed a step ladder to get on, coffee machine with free pods, tea and hot chocolate sachets, two bottles of water were in the fridge and milk, fruit and little homemade shamrock cookies were on a plate welcoming us and also packets of biscuits left too.
Bathroom came with toiletries, towels were changed each day and were very clean and not tatty. Hairdryer in room.
The breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from, cereals, bread, cheeses, cold meats, then the hot, eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, black and white puddings, beans, tomatoes and hash browns. You couldn't go wrong. Adrian in the breakfast room was really friendly, and all the others were helpful too, all smiles.
The Sin Bar which is part of the hotel was quite expensive and also doesn't take cash so if you want to drink or eat there take your card.
The only thing that we had a problem with, and not the hotel's fault was the fire alarm, it went off 3 times twice late at night and once in the early hours.
There's a couple of pubs close by, we went into The Ginger Man and it was a great little pub

Exceptional stay from check in to check out. Every member of the team is welcoming, professional and friendly. The rooms are clean, cosy and comfortable and the quality of the beds meant we woke feeling rested and refreshed. The location is perfect - the street outside is quiet, however the hotel is within walking distance of many main attractions. Great breakfast, lovely bar with friendly staff and a calm atmosphere. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Mont!

The hotel is in a great location, an easy walk from almost everything you would want to see. We added breakfast on both mornings (15EUR pp if added the night before, 17EUR the morning of) and it was very good value - although would have appreciated a note stating that the egg muffin wasn't vegetarian in the description!

We ended up spending quite a lot of time in the Sin Bin, great atmosphere both in the evenings and for watching rugby.

The room was lovely, really spacious and very clean. From start to finish we liked everything about the hotel and if I was coming back to Dublin it would definitely be to the Mont. Thank you for having us!

I think you must ask the hotel, but the room we had was big. One big bed and I think the couch was possible to sleep in :) The service was really good so I would think that 3 adults on one room is no problem :)
