Whether you're going up, up and away or you're getting down to some serious business, Premier Inn Hotel Glasgow Airport is a great place to stay for work and pleasure. We're within easy reach of Glasgow International Airport as well as all the major transport links too. Wake up relaxed and raring to go far, with the runways just a few hundred yards away. Or meet colleagues, competitors or clients at the nearby industrial estates, as well as the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre. We're very handy for getting into Glasgow too. After a busy day, make sure to grab some tasty food in our restaurant, then collapse into a comfy bed.

The Premier Inn Glasgow Airport hotel is lauded for its staff and good value, and its proximity to the airport makes it a convenient choice for travelers. Its rooms are praised for being modern and immaculate, though some guests find them prone to overheating due to inconsistent air conditioning. Opinions on value for money and service vary, with some citing hidden charges and slow service. While the atmosphere is generally considered fresh, some areas could use an update. Noise can be an issue for some due to the nearby traffic and aircraft.

This stay was just as good as ever! We’ve visited this hotel on multiple occasions at the start or end of a holiday, or on the way to or from work elsewhere, and sometimes as a base from which to explore Glasgow - there’s a very regular bus service from the airport - and always look forward to it! The service and accommodation is consistently excellent and the price great value for money. The dining room is very relaxing and we always enjoy excellent service, food and drink. The staff are all exceptionally helpful and friendly - it’s so lovely to be cared for by such a professional team! Thank you for always making our stay perfect!

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay in Glasgow for a family birthday. I'd previously stayed in this hotel several times during my various trips to Glasgow from my London home before discovering the joys of Airbnb but, for an overnight stay, this was an ideal choice and location. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Airport. A friendly welcome from the Receptionist then on to my requested 237 room at the far end of the second floor. If you're looking for a quiet room with little passing footfall and no young running feet in the morning, book any of the 235 to 238 room numbers. These rooms are located far from any lift noise, have very little footfall and, with its own small, enclosed, lobby-like area cut off by a fire door, no chance of anyone running and disturbing your sleep. Unlike my earlier stay in March 2023 at Maidstone's A26 Weatheringbury Premier Inn, this hotel DID have an easy chair, table and 'dining table' chair! Yaaay! A good night's sleep after dinner with my 'family' in Central Glasgow, reviewed separately, and it was time for breakfast. A self-service 'eat as much as you like for £9.99' option, great value for money, provided great start to the day with my requested additional soft poached eggs cooked perfectly and to order. The waiter was extremely friendly, welcoming and was totally unfazed by the many special requests made for 'off the servery' options requested by children in the main. Nothing, it seemed, was too much trouble for him, clearly a great asset to the dining experience. If I stay again for just one night, I'll be back!

So this is my first time staying here, at time of staying they are having work done/refurb. Not on my floor and whilst we arrived around 4-5pm and left early morning for our flight we were not disturbed by any noise. And I have took pictures to show just how much work is currently being done there was not a spec of dust or anything in our room, it was spotless.

I always stay Premier Inn as a first choice as they have baths, this one didn't, not sure if its a choice design but hopefully they aren't removing baths from all and just a choice design.

There wasn't a lot of storage space compared to others but again we were only there for one night so not an issue for us and I don't imagine it will be used for any length of stay/time.

The lighting is fab, purple spotlights or normal, you choose.

Plugs at bedside which is good as everyone is so technology mad these days.

Staff were lovely and helpful. If wanting to eat in the restaurant you will need to book, it was really busy so we ended up eating out. They have a 24 hour garage nearby which is a huge plus because you always forget something. 4/5 from us and I would stay again no problem.

This Premier Inn is easily walkable from the airport which is one of the reasons why we decided to stay before our early morning flight.
On arrival we were directed to the self check in machines, there are 2 of them.
We did the whole process, including the payment section, but at the end it instructed us to see a member of staff.
In stepped John. We explained what had happened so he checked us in at the desk.
When we got into our room I checked my bank account, the payment transaction had gone through twice.
We went back to speak to John at the desk and he said not to worry, we WON’T have been charged twice. He even said that as it was Friday night, and the banks were shut, it would be rectified by Monday. We felt he was fobbing us off.
By Tuesday both transactions were still showing in my bank account. So even though I was out of the country, I had to phone Premier Inn Helpline to obtain a refund, which took another 5 days to be refunded to my bank account.

We also had to ask for more towels as there were only one set in the room. Whilst having a drink in the bar we heard numerous others asking for more towels. I asked was it now Premier’s policy to only put one set of towels in each room and was told it was a machine that told the cleaners how many towels to leave in each room!! One family had to ask for bedding as only one bed had been made up in a family room.

Our room was a double, 212, with a window that opened. Walk in shower with shower gel. We didn’t eat here but noticed that they were quite busy with diners.

I have never had to leave a negative review about a Premier before, and we have stayed at numerous ones all over the UK.
Won’t be using the self check in again and certainly won’t be staying at this Premier again.

In order to travel stress free to our holiday destination we decided to stay at Glasgow Airport's Premier Inn. We arrived a little later than anticipated, sign-posting was not prominent.
On arrival, staff were very friendly, very helpful and very informative.
We decided to partake of the evening meals menu and were very pleasantly surprised by the choice of food availabel at acceptably modest pricing and the choice of wines at very affordable prices.
We enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere, excellent service and a very enjoyable meal.
The following morning our early departure led us to Premier Inn's Airport parking partner 'Flying Scot' where we received equally efficient service and onward transport direct to Glasgow Airport.

I used this as a hub very close to the Airport on a Thursday and Sunday as I had a late incoming and early outgoing flights so just wanted a bed for the night close to the Airport.
It's a 5 minute walk from the Airport which was ideal, good value compared to others I looked at.
A pretty good stay on the Thursday, room was clean and comfy bed, the walls are thin so a fair bit of noise from inside the hotel from others moving about in the corridors and from upper levels. Rooms have double or triple glazing so definitely noise from inside.
Sunday not as good as there was no chef available so no evening meal or cooked breakfast in the morning either, even the coffee machine had run out of beans ! A poor continental was no substitute.
Staff were apologetic for the absence of catering staff but it's down to Premier Inn to make sure staff are appropriately covered for and at least to make sure there are coffee beans for the machine.
There is a large Garage & mini market next door with a small café type restaurant so there was a 'plan B' very nearby.
As a travel hub the location was ideal and as a bed for the night very near the Airport it was at the cheaper end of the scale so represented good value. As for the lack of a chef on the Sunday it was not a big deal for me, the staff who were there were helpful and a credit to the brand.

Very nice hotel with a great location very close to Glasgow airport. The check-in was virtually automatic with machines but staff nearby if you struggled with it and needed help. All staff we encountered were friendly.

We didn't eat in the hotel, but the menu looked nice.

The room itself seemed modern and fresh, the decor of the room, corridors and bar/restaurant areas were very nice and looked like a refurbished had recently taken place.

We have stayed in a few Premier Inns over the years, but this one is really in need of an update. Lots of peeling paint work in the bathroom and the bath panel was blistered. Plus why only one bath towel when a couple of folk are in the room, it isn’t as if you can phone down to reception.
The coffee at breakfast from the machine soon turned cold, plus the bacon on the hot plate was cold. The lift felt as if we were on the 10th floor rather than just the second, as it took ages and juddered. John at reception was very pleasant, as were all other staff we came into contact with. Just a shame this hotel is showing in need of an uplift.

We arrived at the hotel to be met with a pile of takeaway rubbish just outside the hotel door not just one or two bits buts loads . The hotel entrance and reception are in clear need of an update and are very depressing.
The room we had booked was on the 2 nd floor and the lift was broken ( apparently it had been broken for a week ) as I’m disabled and can’t do stairs this posed a problem, however the manager was called and after a short while he had sorted us a ground floor room.
The room itself was modern and clean .
We booked in for dinner which when arrived was very disappointing
I had scampi and chips , i got 7 chips and the same amount of scampi , my husband ordered a meal also with chips he got slightly more (10) chips
We ordered a beer and a coke , the coke showed up after about 10 mins and I had to ask 2 different members of staff for my husbands beer it finally arrived after 20 minutes . The price of the meals were expensive .
We slept well and got up the next morning and packed up everything or so we thought but we had left behind a bag of power banks, leads and adapters which was worth a few hundred quid , we realised as soon as we were in the lounge but thought I may have put them in the cases once we got to our destination we checked cases and they weren’t there they had been left in a bag on the table in the premier inn we rang our son and asked him to ring the hotel which he did straight away to be told nothing had been found .
Overal I would not recommend this hotel for the overpriced tiny meals ,
The first impression outside of the rubbish
The dishonest cleaning staff or other staff who denied knowledge of our left items
We will not stay there again if we fly out of Glasgow

I stayed with my elderly disabled mother and chose this Premier Inn for its proximity to the Airport and M8 and it was by far the "best value for money" We stayed there for two nights as we were attending a family funeral and this hotel had an accessible room for mum. There were numerous other hotels to choose from, but all others were double the price of the Premier Inn.

The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and catered for her needs. The public areas were all clean and tidy, but a lot of the decor and some fixtures and fittings looked very "tired"

The staff were all polite and helpful, but they were not helped by their produce, or lack of ....

The bar had no Scotch whisky (other than a fingers depth of Talisker) and no sign of getting any either. Apparently they difficulty with supplies! In Scotland, difficulty in getting Scotch delivered???? This must be the only hotel in the country that has this problem. Send a member of staff to the off license or Tescos and buy some and claim it back, or whatever the process is.

Now I don't want anyone to think I'm an alcoholic, far from it, but I enjoy a night cap!

The restaurant had so many items from the menu unavailable, staff had produced a laminated card listing them all. Clearly an ongoing issue, so why has it not been sorted??

I ordered a chicken and bacon Caesar salad. out it came. A "char grilled" piece of chicken breast on top of shredded lettuce which had been smothered in dressing, and I mean smothered. No bacon, nothing else just chicken breast and lettuce. In fact I think Caesar had gone on a walking holiday in the Trossachs. Now I know we weren't eating at one of Gordon Ramsays finest, however, a simple Caesar salad cannot be beyond the Premier Inn to get right. Surely?? It seems it was.

The Premier Inns famous all you can eat breakfast.... err well it looked pretty unappetising and tasted worse. I know buffet breakfasts are difficult to keep fresh looking, but having had some, cardboard would have had more taste to it. The bacon had the same texture. Scrambled egg looked like a mass of yellow pebbles. Whoever orders / designs the menu, needs to revisit it and get some food that resembles and tastes like its description.

Having had two daughters at Uni's in different cities, I have stayed in a few Premier Inns. This one was really really disappointing.

Hi, Thank you for your review. We’re very sorry that you had a disappointing stay with us recently due to overall décor of the hotel and the issues within the bar and restaurant . This certainly isn't the experience we would expect for you. We’ve ensured this feedback has been logged to the Hotel Management team so that they can look into these issues with the team to prevent this experience from being repeated again in the future. In future, our Reception team are on hand 24/7 and so we would advise speaking with the team as soon as any issues arise to help resolve this whilst you're still in-house. Thank you for taking the time to contact us and we hope we can welcome you for a more enjoyable stay in the future. Kind regards, Kayleigh
