Travelodge Glasgow Airport is favored by guests for its convenient location near the airport and access to the M8, although a few have had trouble finding it initially. While the atmosphere and amenities are considered basic, with some areas in need of an update, the clean and comfortable environment is often acknowledged.
However, opinions on value and service are mixed; some guests feel the cost is too high for the basic offerings and have encountered inconsistent service quality. Room conditions vary, with reports of both cleanliness and the need for maintenance.

Detailed Reviews
We always use the Travelodge at Glasgow airport, it makes for a quick get away at 6.20am! Beds are always comfy, sheets are crisp and clean and the bath towels are soft and fluffy - what more can you ask for! TThe staff are friendly too and at hand 24 hours a day.

The rooms are dated and very moderately equipped. No tissues in the bathroom, no hair dryer.
They charged £10 for early check-in yet there were several rooms vacant and ready for guests. They also charged £3 for wifi access, a practise that is archaic in this age.
I suggest using any of the other hotels around the Glagow Airport, even at a slightly higher price, it's worth the extra.

This Travelodge was ideally located in only a 5 minute brisk walk from the airport.
The reception & bar area were clean & inviting. The staff were friendly & welcoming.
The room was more than adequate for an overnight stay.
We have already said we would definitely re book when we are next in Glasgow

Needed to stay over as son’s flight from Canada landed early morning. Almost booked Courtyard by Marriott across the car park, for a tenner more! Wish I had!
Male Team Member at reception on check-in really needs to learn some customer service skills AND manners!
Our card didn’t work to access door to lift. Husband returned to reception, told by male it was fine and to try again. Tried it several times, each time a different way, nothing happened. I returned to desk and said it wasn’t working, he put it in machine, said it was definitely working, so I explained it wouldn’t open the door! Without saying anything he went over to the door and on his 4th attempt (after wiping it) it worked. He didn’t say anything just handed card over, thought it was a bit rude but never mind.
Later we ordered 2 puddings, both with icecream and when they arrived one had cream instead. My husband brought this to the attention of same male as he’d brought it from kitchen and he said “I just bring it out” rather rudely and returned it to the kitchen, leaving me and husband taken aback. He then returned with pudding and icecream and pretty much slammed it onto the table without uttering a word, despite us saying thank you, and then stalked off. He was downright rude and ignorant.
Room - nice view of bin area out back. Bed comfortable and clean however, pillows were like bags of cement. Absolutely awful. Carpets looked grubby and bathroom was tired with some black mould visible on grout.
Location - great for airport, easy walking distance.
Pricing is WAY off. This is a very basic budget hotel being sold at 3/4* pricing, no justification for charging almost the same as higher end hotels.
Wouldn’t return.

beds and towels were clean however room was dirty, hair was left in the shower and shower room had mould in the corners. No shower gel/shampoo/conditioner so bring your own. They did have hand soap. No towels to dry hair. Pillows very thin and uncomfortable, could have done with two pillows each. Floor was dirty, wear socks!
When we walked up to our room there was someone with a dog, the dog was barking really loud and this was after 10:30pm, the following morning the same dog was barking for a while.
No free WiFi, tv had an unknown substance on the screen which we had to clean ourselves, luckily we travel with anti bac wipes! Only three plugs in the room which meant if we wanted to watch tv one of us had to take our phones off charge. Staff were lovely so problems there.
Short distance away from hotel, we took an uber for around £11 as we didn’t want to walk with our large luggage, would be easy to walk if with hand luggage only.

Despite advertising free parking and free Wi-Fi, neither are actually true for this site.
Had the parking meter not been vandalised, I would have been charged. The machine was very difficult to find.
Wi-Fi is free for the first half an hour, which I’m sure qualifies legally to be able to advertise free Wi-Fi.
At every step I felt conned into booking my room by clever word play, lies and falsehoods.
I booked this room because after a lengthy trip I wanted to relax and have a bath, watch some trash tv and rest before my flight the next day. All photos on the site indicate that a bath would be present in the room and I even went as far as I check the facilities for the room which were sparsely listed. I assumed that having a photo of a nice spacious room and a bathroom which included a bath would be at least similar in terms of facilities, if not design and I was wrong.
There is no phone is the room, so to call reception you need to ring from your mobile, which charges you on top of any tariff charges from your provider.
Pretty poor service there.
I expected a bottle of water in the room at least but found nothing but a lime scaled kettle and some suspicious tea and coffee sachets.
Everything about the bed was disappointing. From their cheap polyester spreads, to the thin faded bed runner. I felt sweaty and unpleasant the entire time.
At least the tv worked.
There was a generic hand sanitiser style shampoo and body wash (all in one) dispenser in the bathroom but no hand soap and only half a roll of toilet paper. The water pressure was naff. I’d have been better off standing in the rain.
The towels were properly the best part of the entire stay.
Occupants were noisy consistently throughout the night both inside and outside the hotel. The lock on my door worked but the safety lock was snapped off which wasn’t reassuring at all.
The general look of the room was sad and worn out. Mediocre in every way. Faded art with dirt in the corners, a faded and well worn carpet through the hotel but more so in my room, the walls needed painting. Wear and tear was beyond what even a generous rental property would find acceptable.
Only 1 spare outlet, if you’re using the kettle and this was behind the TV across the room.
The best thing about my stay was checking out, which was handled perfectly by letting me simply deposit my keycard into a safe box at reception with no interactions from staff.

Gerry Adam and Bubbles working on the front desk at this travel lodge went above and beyond on the spot once we realised there was a mistake in the type of room booked for us . They immediately rebooked us into another room changing bed covers duvets splitting beds up there and then thank you so much !!!!

We arrived into the car park to find we had to pay for parking (this wasn’t advised on booking)
Ordered food, waste of time and money, service was terrible and woman at the bar was grumpy
Food was basic at best and a lot was inedible, sent most back and no apologies or offer to replace what clearly wasn’t eaten. Daughter still hungry so we ordered a pudding extra (had to pay extra as woman shouted at my 16 year old that it ‘wasn’t in the offer’ we knew that as I had ordered mine pudding with my main on the offer
Same grumpy Woman advised her pudding will be longer than ours, turned out my daughters arrived 10 minutes before mine, not really sure what the delay was with mine, I had the ice cream!
New bloke also at the bar and serving food too, didn’t have a clue about anything so that’s why we’re assuming he’s new, he didn’t even know what we were talking about when we advised daughters food didn’t come with the tartar sauce
We also asked him about a fancy lemonade that was in the fridge, he had no idea what it was or what flavour so had to find out when we did, by reading the bottle
Room was basic at best with a few chips and cracks in the tiling, shower VERY slippy when wet, som antislip strips or something is required
We checked out at 4am for an early flight, probably just as well as I dread to think about a breakfast disaster!
Only worthy as one star as the corridors were quiet - thankfully
This is the last time we spend money with this company- not like it was cheap either!
Please train your staff in decent customer service

From the moment we arrived , we felt unwelcome. Throughout our 2 day stay, we were never greeted with a smile.
I asked for a disabled room as I am in a wheelchair (although I can weight bear and transfer) so it was lovely to see that the bathroom had a shower seat. However, I was unable to use it as it was so low.
I had terrible problems getting on and (especially) off the bed as it was so low.
I asked at reception if it would be possible to get another mattress to raise the height of the bed....I was told...."sorry we don't do that".
Not impressed...we will not stay at Travelodge again.

The hotel is very well located a 5 minute walk from the airport terminal (to which it is connected by a walkway). Rooms are large and everything is well kept, despite some (minor) wear and tear. Staff is polite and cheerful. Thank you!

I don't think anything nearby but I'm sure reception will help.
Turn left outside terminal and go past holiday inn express ( not holiday inn) and turn left
It is behind the Marriott and is about a 10 minute walk
Please contact the hotel team on 0203 1954 809 they should be able to advise. The hotel is less than 15 min by foot or 5 min by car.
