A boutique hotel which has clearly undergone a major refurbishment of it’s bedrooms. My family and I stayed there following a wedding. Room 4 is enormous, with a huge walk-in shower (which to be honest could do with a shower mat, very slippery!) Food and service were first class. About a 15 minute walk from the centre. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
A very enjoyable stay at the weekend. Its a short walk from the railway station and our room was really nice - turned out to a very high spec and immaculately clean. We paid £50 pp pn for B&B which we considered a bargain. The best thing about this place was the people running it - we never had to wait too long for anything and everybody was really friendly and helpful which made us feel at home. We only ate breakfast in the hotel but the bar and restaurant looked popular and had a vibrant atmosphere so it would be possible not to leave and still have a fantastic time!
This is very much a gem of a hotel / bar / restaurant located close to Inverness city centre. However, it is a five minute walk from the centre, and therefore suitably set-back in a nice quiet area away from much traffic. I have recently been working as a contractor at a local company based in Inverness. I had stayed in a few local guest houses, but none of them serve evening meals, so I popped in to the Heathmount purely for the restaurant, and I soon found myself being a regular diner. They have a good, well thought out menu and a good selection of beers. On a recent return trip, I stayed in one of the rooms at the Heathmount, so I got to experience the full dinner, bed & breakfast experience. It did not disappoint. Dinner was excellent as per previous visits, and breakfast was also delicious. The room was tastefully decorated. Modern, but also homely. It was warm and cosy and the bed was very comfortable. There are a lot of nice touches which have been well thought out. All of the staff have been very friendly and efficient on every visit, and this was no exception. Thanks for a great stay and I shall certainly be back when I next need to visit Inverness again. Highly recommended.…
My husband and I stayed here while on our honeymoon in Inverness, and I am so glad we picked this hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff was super friendly and could answer all of our questions. We felt safe walking the short distance to historic Inverness. Highly recommend.
Location is perfect - short walking distance to the centre however away from all the busy-ness so felt peaceful. Ryan greeted us on arrival, and at breakfast each morning, and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was included in our overnight stay price and was made fresh to order with plenty of choice. The room was clean and fresh, and the bed was extremely comfy. Shower was amazing!! We will definitely be back when we next visit Inverness.
