Had the pleasure of attending a family wedding this last weekend. The outside of the hotel is very picturesque set in the highlands with views to the moray firth. As you enter the hotel it feels a little dated but a very welcoming entrance. Staff could do no more to make the experience enjoyable. Breakfast on both days was great and definitely the best breakfast I’ve had in a hotel. The only bad thing I have to say for this hotel is the price of drinks. 3 pints of Peroni £19.50. Now if I was in a hotel in London then I would expect this but this is Inverness surely anything more than £5 is too much.
Despite covid restrictions and problems the hotel and staff were incredible. Food was as good as anywhere we have ever been and nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff. We will be back next New Year.
Felt hotel slightly expensive for our stay with the dog an extra charge. Lots of parking available. Check-in good with helpful staff. Large room and massive bed. Nice to have a bathroom with separate bath and shower. Unable to find a dog poo bin so had to take it with us, so that could be useful. Breakfast was in the lobby due to having the dog. Would stay again if could find a cheaper price.
On arrival there was a warm highland welcome The food was fantastic beautifully presented the combination of flavours for courses was exquisite The breakfast experience of locally sourced produce served with a smile on Sunday Fantastic
Cancelled event all sorted. When our much anticipated party night was cancelled through no fault of the hotel, the manager quickly offered an alternative at the hotel. We were all ( a party of 8) delighted with the private dining room and the 5 star quality of the food. The staff were also 5 star and made our night very special. As always the rooms were spotlessly and very comfortable. This was not our first stay here as its always a favourite but they surpassed themselves this time. Special thanks to Kenny and John. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
