Detailed Reviews
Hotel was chosen on family recommendation.
Lovely clean hotel situated opposite the 'Cobblers' Bridge'. Very well located for all the old town has to offer. The welcome drink was a nice touch on check-in.
The staff are very professional and friendly. Our room on the third floor faced towards the old town. Good elevator for those who need it. Well sound insulated, clean and well-presented. Good TV. Comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom with a good shower. Good wardrobe space, safe, mini-bar/fridge, and complimentary coffee/tea/water.
Very good breakfast with plenty of choice.
The old town can be quite noisy into the night with people en route from the bars and cafes. Not the hotel's fault! The excellent double glazing cuts out the noise.
Only gripe. The room was very warm. The aircon did not seem to have been enabled. Probably the time of year.
Don't hesitate to book your stay here. I highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at the Heritage hotel- great breakfast, comfortable warm rooms, handily situated for restaurants and close to the station for getting into the centre of Glasgow. A very reasonable price too. We were also lucky to get a parking spot at the back; the car park is small, so I imagine this would not be guaranteed in busy periods. Would particularly like to thank Anna for her sterling service in finding and returning my electric toothbrush within a couple of days- above and beyond what you might expect! Thanks again. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again someday.

One night here - a decent sized room and a comfortable bed, but a very compact bathroom and a shower that seemed to run cold until I had almost given up, then changed to boiling.
Breakfast was adequate, but again nothing special - I had the continental as the idea of "turkey rashers" put me off the cooked.
The hotel is hard to find - on a raised street above Great Western Road, and my satnav took me in circles until I gave up, parked on street, and walked. There was also a lot of street noise through the night.

Booked for single room, very pleased. Spacious, clean and apparently newly refurbished bathroom, I paid a very reasonable price and have no complaint.
Staff are really friendly.
The only tiny thing is the rather steep staircase for my 3rd floor room- however staff recommend calling before booking and they can try to arrange ground or lower floor rooms if suitable.

Spent one night here with my work. The hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were pleasant and overall I enjoyed my stay. My only complaint: finding the hotel was a bit of a nightmare!! It's situated on top of a set of shops, and the entrance was not well signposted. I spent around 45 minutes walking around in circles, in the dark, as a lone female traveller (which I didn't particularly enjoy). For anyone who has booked to stay here - Turn left off the main street up the cobbled walkway, then look for a gap in the walls on the right hand side, this is how you access the hotel!!

TERRIBLE! Resembled a hostel rather than a hotel, and quite removed from the city centre. The money saved on the room was definitely outweighed by the money spent on taxis to the centre. Dirty cramped bathroom and old style décor.

My grandson and myself stayed here for 5 nights very recently. A delightful budget hotel a 5 minute walk and a 6 minute underground ride away from the very centre of Glasgow. Our room was very spacious, en-suite with a lovely body massage shower, really comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities. We had room No1, no stairs and very quiet and peaceful as it is to the back of the hotel.
A lovely breakfast with a large choice of hot food, cereals, fruit juices, yogurts and fresh fruits all cooked and served by a team of 3 lovely and very helpful girls. The front desk staff were also extremely helpful.
To sum up.....an extremely clean, warm, comfortable hotel, with a warm, friendly helpful staff.
The price is very very reasonable.....we paid £55 B&B....and that for both of us
I would most certainly stay here again and would definately recommend it to family and friends.

I have stayed twice at the family run hotel and chose it more for it's close proximity to the Botanic Gardens and Byres Road than the facilities. Having said that, the hotel is fine. Ian, the owner and staff are pleasant and helpful. Overall, the Heritage offers a good, clean, no frills, standard of accommodation. It's a bit functional but it does the job for the price.

This hotel was great for what I needed for one night - it was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you’re expecting a modern chain hotel then you may be a little disappointed, but this is a nice independent place in a great location for the west end of Glasgow and the university. It’s only a few subway stops from the city centre too. It’s very reasonably priced and in a great area for restaurants etc. I would stay here again if I needed to be back in this area of Glasgow

Hi Deborah, there are approximately 9 spaces at rear of hotel. On street parking is available also to the rear of the building as it is a mainly residential area.Parking on the main Great Western Road would be restricted & also metered.Kindest regards,Gary.
I'm sure they have ground floor rooms
No usurer Mary. I think we had to check out by 1000 so i expect you can check in after 1200 when they've had time to prepare your room but check with them.
The staff were very helpful
1.6 miles. About 25 min walk. 8 min in car according to google maps.
get the bus from the airport to Bchanan St bus terminal, then a £5 taxi straight to the hotel
hope this helps
